Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Theme: Earth is better!

Rey Reed Smith, pov

We've been traveling for the past few days, with my new commander standing beside me and doing everything to please me. My ship, which Reed had upgraded with everything necessary and set to autopilot, led the way; the rest of my ships and Commander Garin Gath's men followed behind.

The last time Reed chatted with me, he said we had been traveling in space for approximately fourteen days. Well, we had nothing to worry about. We had everything we needed to survive, and there are also different games and playing stations here on our ship just in case we are bored.

There is a training room, an ammunition room, and different suits for testing weapons. It's a state-of-the-art armory that houses a vast arsenal of advanced weaponry. This room employs a neural interface that enables my men to mentally select and customize their weapons before deployment.

We had battle gear in each ship, rocket launchers of different kinds, and an expanded field where we used to fight amidst ourselves as if fighting a war. It is why I hardly lost men in battle.

My ship was huge and magnificent, to the extent that I even had a name for it. It's called URS, meaning (Universal Reconnaissance Ship)

Now, let me give you a more detailed description of my URS.

It is a colossal and awe-inspiring spacecraft, a marvel of advanced technology that Reed engineered. Its sleek, aerodynamic design belies the formidable capabilities contained within. He built it using cutting-edge nanotechnology, elements of different kinds, and my URS can seamlessly adapt its structure, allowing it to morph and reshape itself for optimal performance in various environments and combat scenarios.

My URS spans several kilometers in length, making it one of the largest spacecraft ever created. Its sheer size serves both as a symbol of our planet's civilization's technological prowess and as a testament to our ability to harness immense energy.

Reed also made sure it's powered by an exotic energy source from my planet, which never stops functioning unless our planet is destroyed, enabling it to achieve incredible speeds and maneuverability. It boasts a sophisticated cloaking system that renders my ship invisible to enemy sensors, and its energy shields are capable of withstanding even the most powerful attacks on Earth.

I made sure that nanobots were infused into every inch of the URS, allowing it to self-repair, adapt, and transform as needed. Reed also made sure to extend the technology to the ship's interior, where nanobots assist in maintaining optimal living conditions for me, my men, and outsiders like Garin and his men.

Apart from the main training ground, Reed created a vast training complex where elite warriors undergo rigorous training and simulations. This is a special place where I engaged my men in hand-to-hand combat and showed them a few of my skills. There are holographic environments that replicate various terrains and scenarios, ensuring that my elite warriors are prepared for any challenge.

There's also a specialized chamber equipped with advanced nanofabrication technology. It's where I stored men that are doing cutting-edge battle suits that enhance our strength, speed, and durability, allowing us to operate in hostile environments. It's also where Reed upgraded our suits, ships, and technology.

It's also equipped with versatile drones that can be remotely controlled or programmed for autonomous operations. These drones can serve various roles, from reconnaissance to combat support. I used them to destroy Planet UR.

One of the reasons I keep Garin Gath by my side is that he has advanced weapons. I knew this because I had taken a tour of his ships, and I'd seen them all.

There are highly advanced energy-based weapons that harness plasma, lasers, or other exotic forms of energy. He had biological ammunition, like organic or genetically engineered projectiles that have unique effects on targets, including my men. It's another reason why we upgraded our suit.

Some nano-sized robots and particles could be used for various purposes, including weapons, self-repairing suits, and even shape-shifting capabilities.

From what I've come to learn about him, he had psionic abilities because of his blood and genetics. He possesses psychic powers that allow him and his men to manipulate objects or create devastating attacks using their minds. Their weapons and suits also had dimensional energy that could tap into different dimensions, allowing for reality-bending effects or teleportation.

Adaptive suits weren't left out. Even though they can breathe air on any surface, they have also taken special precautions by creating suits that can modify their structure or capabilities based on the wearer's needs or the environment they're in.

There is holographic disguise technology that creates sophisticated holographic disguises to blend in with different species and antimatter weapons. Antimatter weapons are highly destructive weapons that utilize antimatter reactions for immense energy release.

With all these weapons, I couldn't help but wonder why Garin Gath could not conquer this planet known as 'Earth.

This made me conclude that there are indeed power resistances on Earth, and they might stand a chance against us if care isn't taken. But on the other hand, I dismiss the thought and replace it with, "Garin lacks the strategy and he's misusing opportunity."

If I had had such an opportunity like him, I would have achieved my aim a long time ago. Then, I also realized the benefits I'd lose if I hadn't joined hands with Garin Gath. I'm glad I did.

After traveling for what seemed like an eternity, "Hey buddy, the planet is nearby," Reed said in my head.

"At least, show some respect." I rolled my eyes frantically. "Joke apart, I'm not your mate. I created you thirty-five years after my birth."

"And I'm doing more work than you," he complained. "If you hadn't brought me to life, how could you achieve all this?"

"That doesn't mean I can't destroy you!" I yelled at him in my head.

He laughed, saying, "How can you do that when I'm now part of your brain? Without me, you'd be brain-dead. You can only survive a few hours without me."

"Okay, you win!" I gave up.

"Yes!" He hollered in my head, and I knew he'd jump up if he were beside me.

Yes, Reed can transform himself into anything—either animals, beasts, creatures or even changed into my image. He can even duplicate himself into three, fight in the same pattern as me, and even create a portal using inter-dimensional energy.

"And here comes the planet Earth!" Reed screamed, his sound nearly deafening my ears.

I watched in awe as it came into view. This planet Earth, when viewed from space, is a breathtaking blue and green sphere, its oceans and continents contrasting against the darkness of space. The thin layer of the atmosphere envelopes the planet and is composed mainly of nitrogen and oxygen, providing a life-sustaining shield against the harshness of outer space.

Among the nearby galaxies, the Milky Way, which I presumed to be their home galaxy, spirals gracefully across the cosmic canvas, adorned with billions of stars, nebulae, and celestial wonders.

"Reed, what's that?" I asked, pointing to something that appears to be a spiral galaxy with a bright central bulge surrounded by spiral arms. It is similar in structure to our own Milky Way galaxy. It is located about 2.5 million light-years away from the Earth.

"That's the Andromeda Galaxy," Reed elaborated. "The Andromeda Galaxy, also known as M31. Moreover, Earth is protected from many space dangers by its atmosphere, which absorbs and reflects harmful radiation and debris. Additionally, Earth's magnetic field helps shield them from solar wind and cosmic rays."

"That won't be a problem for us, right?" I asked, looking at the Andromeda Galaxy, a cosmic neighbor that approaches the Milky Way on a collision course in a cosmic dance of gravitational forces, promising a distant future merger.

"Not for someone like me," Reed said, and I could hear him smiling.

What mesmerized me most about the planet is the Northern and Southern Lights that dance across the polar skies, a stunning result of charged particles colliding with Earth's magnetic field. Vast oceans and intricate weather systems come to life as seen from our ship, showcasing the dynamic interplay of nature's forces.

"Earth's natural satellite, the Moon, accompanies them in the cosmic voyage, its craters, and plains revealing the history of countless cosmic impacts." Reed came online again.

I nodded my head, watching as the intricate web of life flourishes across the planet, from the towering trees of rainforests to the microscopic organisms that populate every nook and cranny.

"What did you think about this planet, Reed?" I asked.

He chuckled, "I admitted that Earth is better than other planets we have conquered, including ours. The only difference is that we are more advanced than them."

I face Garin Gath, asking them the same thing: "What did you think about this planet?"

He hesitated a while before saying, "My lord, I

must say that our planets are good because we are advanced, but the earth is better!"
