Synopsis
I loved reading novels about magic and swords. One day I decided to create a novel myself and named it, "The Hero's Fate." It was about someone who simply lost everyone he ever loved and had to fight the demon king to save the world. Typical, typical. I was finishing the second last volume one night and fell into a deep sleep and when I woke up I realized I transmigrated into my novel!

Chapter 1 - My novel

At a young age, I loved reading novels about magic and swords. At night I dreamt of flying among the clouds and using magic to burn down my enemies.

As I went through life I found myself reading less and less finding that I couldn't find any novels that matched my expectations and the few ones I did like either was never finished or just started.

"Why the fuck is there never any good books that are finished?"

Sometimes such thoughts would pass through my mind.

I finally decided I would create my own novel.

The novel's name was called, "The Hero's Fate." The hero was your typical orphan where his parents died from a monster outbreak and then he went into an academy and met his harem.

The twist with this was that every girl he found and came to love in the end died. His fate was to never find love and anyone he did come to love would leave him.

I was finishing the second last volume of the book and was wondering how I was going to take the person the hero was dating now. She was a friend when the hero was attending an academy and eventually she asked him out.

"Wait, I could just bring out some random extra I created from the past chapters. I'm a fucking genius!"

I laughed manically when I thought of this.

I went through my book and found an extra called Ethan Kit. I never specified his background and all I did was put him against the Hero in an early tournament with him putting a bit of a fight against him.

This world had people known as hunters. Hunters would gain a system between the ages of 18-20 however there were special cases of people awakening earlier or later.

Ethan had an S-rank talent in Gunmanship and an A-rank talent in Swordsmanship. Later on in the novel I simply forgot about him but now he finally came in clutch.

"Oh right, after the tournament I remember noting that he looked at the hero with a gaze full of envy."

So far in the novel I hinted there being a strong magic gunner. I planned on creating a character that would help the hero in his fight against the demon king but that would be changed now.

Tack tack tack tack tack tack!

My hands flew all over the keyboard and I didn't even notice the time passing. Before I knew it I finished the volume.

"Holy crap, it's already 2am! I should probably go to sleep." Saying this my eyes started to close and I put my arms on me and fell asleep on my desk.

Hero POV:

"Fuck, fuck, fuck! Irene don't leave me.. Please, I need you. This can't happen again." The hero pleaded with tears in his eyes as he saw his lover fall to the ground with two bullets in her head.

The hero's surroundings were littered with corpses of humans that he had killed.

Eventually, he wiped his tears and stood up and limped his way toward a fallen body with a gun in his hand and a pair of broken swords at his feet.

"You, you did this to Irene. Why? What did she do to you?" The hero stood atop the corpse questioning it.

"You monster. All my life I've tried to help humanity but I always lose everything, everyone. What did I do to deserve this?" The wounds from earlier finally caught up to him and the hero fell down next to the corpse he was talking to.

"If only there was another life, 1 more chance, I would do everything different. I would save you all. I'm sorry I failed you." Muttering these words, it became clear that it would be the last time he spoke. His eyes finally started to close and the cold embrace of death finally took ahold of him.

"Ethan Kit wake up right this instance!"

Wack!

My head flew up in a instant and I saw myself in a classroom surrounded by students around the age of 17.

This was strange I was in my room earlier typing up the second last volume for "The Hero's Fate."

"Ethan, how many times do I need to tell you not to fall asleep in my class?" I looked up to see a angry teacher with blue hair and glasses.

Confused as why I was being yelled at and also being called Ethan I asked, "Who are you?"

Her expression turned from confusion to annoyance. She slapped my desk with her ruler once more causing me to jump back in my seat.

"What do you mean who I am. I'm your teacher for god sake and your Ethan Kit. Did you hit your head last night or something? What is wrong with you?" The teacher yelled at me and then finally left and went back to teaching the class.

"Hold up. Isn't that extra I was working on last night called Ethan Kit?"

Just as I thought of that I heard the teacher call out on someone to answer a question on the board.

"Alan Mir come up and answer this question."

Suddenly it clicked with me and I understood what was happening.

"I transmigrated into my novel?!"
