Your last name is 'Potter'?" Dr Strange asked Harry and Laura.
"Yeah," Harry slowly nodded. "why are you asking?"
"One moment please," He said before he turned to Professor Xavier. "Charles, do you have any idea who these two are?" He asked.
"I must confess, Stephen, that I really do not know what you are talking about." Professor Xavier responded with a frown. "Harry and Laura are Logan's grandchildren, you remember Logan, of course."
"Of course," Dr Strange said in a dry voice before he shook his head. "Charles, let's head to your office, we have a few things that the two of us need to discuss. You might want to call Logan to this impromptu meeting."
"Hey, excuse me," Harry interrupted. "but how the hell do you know who we are?" Harry all but demanded.
"It's a...long story," Dr Strange sighed. "I will tell you everything as soon as I can, but first I must speak with Professor Xavier and your grandfather." He said.
"Children," Professor Xavier said when it looked like Harry was going to argue. "you should continue to enjoy the rest of your day, I will contact you as soon as we have finished our conversation."
"Harry, we do have Ororo's class next." Jean pointed out. "We're going to be late."
"Fine." Harry said in an annoyed voice after a few moments of silence. He and the girls turned walked past both men. "What do you think he knows?" Harry whispered to Laura once they were far enough away from Dr Strange and Professor Xavier.
"I don't know," Laura admitted with a small shrug. "it sounds important. Maybe it is something to do with Grandpa."
"I don't think it is," Jean frowned. "he mentioned that he already knew Logan. Plus he was talking about your last names."
"Oh, maybe he knows our parents!" Laura gasped as she looked at Harry, waiting to see if he would agree or not.
"Hmm, maybe." Harry frowned, truthfully he hadn't given much thought to his parents. During his time at the Dursley's he was mostly trying not to get in trouble while also doing his best to keep Laura out of trouble, after that the brother and sister duo were getting experimented on before they came here, here where they would meet Ororo, Jean and their Grandpa. Maybe that 'Dr Strange' person did know their parents, but if he did then what was Harry supposed to do?
"What the hell do you mean my grandkids are magical?" Logan asked, arms crossed and eyes narrowed as he looked at Dr Strange.
"Exactly what I had just said, Logan." Dr Strange calmly replied. "I checked if they had magic when I was standing next to them."
"But you also knew them before that," Professor Xavier pointed out. "you knew their names."
"As the 'Sorcerer Supreme', I do my best to keep tabs on all magical societies," Dr Strange replied. "it helps in my line of work. There are a particular brand of magic users that are born with what one might call a 'magical core'."
"A core?" Logan repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"Let me explain. The language of the Mystic Arts is as old as civilization. The sorcerers of antiquity called the use of this language 'spells'. We harness energy drawn from this dimensions and others of the Multiverse to cast spells, to conjure shields and weapons, to make magic. However your grandchildren are part of a group of magic users that are born with their own batch of magic, they do not draw energy like I do, they already have their own energy."
"What are these people like?" Logan asked as he mentally ran over everything that he was just told.
"It depends."
"On what?"
"Where they live," Dr Strange answered. "they are spread all over the globe, they live in nearly every other country. For the most part they like to keep to themselves, mostly out of fear of discovery."
"The witch trials?" Professor Xavier guessed.
"They are a big part of why, though for some it's because they simply do not like the mundane people." Dr Strange responded. "Imagine, if you will, a separate world hidden within our own. The ones in America haven't been around for very long in comparison to others, however a lot of them, especially a great many of those who live in Britain, fall under the belief that those who were born in magical families are superior to those who are not."
"What?" Logan blinked.
"For example, if a person was born with two sets of magical grandparents and two magical parents then they would be considered to have 'pure' blood, but if they only had one set of magical grandparents then they would be known as a 'half-blood', which is basically saying 'not quite at the top'." Dr Strange explained.
"And what of those born to non-magical families?" Professor Xavier asked.
"If they have no magic then they would be known either as 'no-majs' or 'muggles' depending on which country you are in. Those with magic that are born from non-magical families are often called 'first generation magic users' or 'muggleborns', once again it depends on which country you are in." Dr Strange replied. "Now, Harry and Laura are both half-bloods. Their grandparents on their father's side are magical, as was their father, however their mother was a muggleborn."
"How the hell do you know?" Logan asked.
"Remember when I told you that I looked into magical societies?" Dr Strange asked, Logan and Professor Xavier both nodded. "Well, in their world you would struggle to find a single person who didn't know their names."
"They are famous?" Professor Xavier asked.
"In their world they're probably more famous than Tony Stark," Dr Strange responded. "a while back there was a civil war in magical Britain. The reason for this was purebloods wanting to put themselves on top and wanting to either get rid of or enslave those without pureblood. They were led by a dark wizard known as Voldemort, he struck so much fear into people's hearts that they refused to say his name, even to this day they will call him 'he-who-must-not-be-named' or 'you-know-who'. The war ended when he attacked the house of James and Lily Potter. He had entered the house and murdered them both before he turned his 'wand' on the children." If either of them noticed the distaste in Strange's voice when he said 'wand' then they didn't comment on it as they were too busy thinking on the part about Harry and Laura's parents getting killed. "He then cast a spell known as the 'killing curse', which does exactly as advertised. It is instant death for any who are struck by it, the only defence is to not get hit, it might possibly even be able to kill you, Logan. This 'Voldemort' aimed his wand at the twins, from what I heard he had cast the killing curse at Harry, but Harry had managed to survive and destroyed Voldemort in the process. That's why the twins are famous, because one of them killed the most feared wizard of that time while also doing the impossible and surviving a spell that has killed anyone else it has come into contact with."
"That Voldemort bastard is lucky that he's dead, if I get my hands on him..." Logan trailed off as he let out an animalistic growl.
"Stephen," Professor Xavier spoke up. "is there any chance that you can teach young Harry and Laura to learn magic?"
"I would but I'm afraid they are too young at the moment for my particular brand of magic," Dr Strange responded. "their magical cores still need to develop first, if they start drawing energy like I do then it could affect them. Besides, they're likely to start their training soon. When they reach the age of eleven they will be contacted by magical schools so they can teach them how to use magic whilst using wands."
"You've never used a wand." Professor Xavier pointed out.
"That's because I see no such use for wands when there are plenty of other magical foci available. However these magic users do believe that wands are the best thing since sliced bread so I would be careful what you say." Dr Strange said with a roll of his eyes. "Anyway, once they've completed their training and their cores have developed, I will be more than willing to teach them."
"I can't believe that you both have magic." Jean said the next day as she sat in the twin's room, she and Harry were sat on the floor and playing chess while Laura was sat on her bed and playing with Felix.
"Neither can I." Harry said with a shake of his head, he still found it hard to believe. Yesterday he and Laura had been brought into Professor Xavier's office and were told everything by Professor Xavier and Dr Strange.
Harry and Laura both didn't really know how to react to finding out that they were magical and famous in the magical world thanks to Harry doing something that was apparently impossible, they also didn't know how to react to the fact that their parents were apparently murdered by the same person that Harry had stopped.
"Do you think we can turn into animals once we've finished learning about magic?" Laura asked as she stroked the back of Felix's head.
"Probably," Harry nodded. "I mean...there are no limits, are there? Magic is like re-shaping reality. I..." Harry paused before he started sniffing the air. "...I recognise those scents." Harry grinned as he stood up.
"Huh?" Jean gave Laura a questioning look. Laura sniffed the air, she recognised Ororo's approaching scent, what she didn't recognise was the second scent that was with her. Harry opened the door just as Ororo arrived along with the other person that Laura smelled.
"Hey Emma." Harry smiled at her.
"Harry." She nodded in greeting.
"I will leave you to it." Ororo said to Emma before she walked off.
"I didn't know you'd be coming today." Harry said as he gestured her into the room.
"Luckily I was able to convince my father to let me come." Emma shrugged once Harry closed the door. That was admittedly a bit of a lie as her father didn't really know that she was here. She had to take a lot of effort into getting here without her father knowing, and she may or may not have had to mess around with her bodyguard's mind.
"Emma, this is Jean." Harry said as he gestured to Jean before he pointed to Laura and Felix. "And that's my sister, Laura. And you recognise the cat, he's called 'Felix'."
"Felix?" Emma repeated, trying the name out. "Felix, hmm, I like it."
"Laura," Harry said as he turned to his sister. "this is Emma, she's the girl that helped me pick out Felix."
"Oh, thank you. I really like him." Laura smiled brightly as she hugged Felix.
"Oh...I'm glad." Emma said with a tight smile as she looked at Felix.
"Do...do you want to hold him?" Laura asked, correctly guessing what Emma wanted.
"I...I'd love to." Emma's smile loosened as she sat down on Laura's bed and gently took Felix from Laura's hands. "Hello cutie." She whispered as she hugged him just before Felix meowed and nuzzled his head into her neck.
"It's nice to meet you." Jean said, "You're a telepath too, aren't you?" Jean asked, remembering what Harry had told her.
"I am," Emma confirmed. "Harry told me that you're a telepath as well and that you can move things with your mind."
"Hmm, here's an example." Jean grinned and telepathically flipped Harry's hood up.
"Hey, stop that." Harry said as he pushed his hood down.
"One more time." Jean laughed before she did it again. Harry simply huffed and took off his hoodie before he tossed it at Jean who telepathically caught it in mid-air before she stuck her tongue out at Harry.
"Impressive." Emma said in an amused voice, she looked around, looking between Harry, Laura, Jean and Felix. It was at that moment that she decided that she definitely wanted to come here every day.

"Oh...goodness me." Dumbledore breathed as he looked down at the two letters in front of him.
Professor Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, had many titles such as 'Supreme Mugwump' and 'Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot', but his two preferred titles were 'Headmaster Dumbledore' and 'leader of the light'. In the last war he had lead the fight against Voldemort and his evil forces. When young Harry Potter had defeated the dark Lord, Dumbledore had made sure to quickly get to the boy and his sister before anyone else could and stash them away in the muggle world in the house of Lily's sister, the Dursley's.
Dumbledore had managed to quickly erect very strong blood wards thanks to Lily Potter's noble sacrifice of her life, not many knew this but Dumbledore was able to work out that the reason Harry was able to survive the killing curse was thanks to old magic performed by Lily Potter, she had sacrificed her life in order to save her children. Thanks to that sacrifice Dumbledore was able to build wards that would protect the children from any who intended to harm them, but years ago the wards fell.
When Dumbledore found out he had quickly headed straight to the Dursley's, only to find out that they had given the two children away. Dumbledore rushed away and began trying to track down the children, but before he could find them he had discovered that the Dursley's had been arrested, meaning that even if Dumbledore did find the children he wouldn't be able to put them anywhere. He could have got them out but had decided to prioritise getting the kids first and get the Dursley's out later, besides a few years in prison would teach those stupid muggles to ruin his plans.
Dumbledore had spent the last few years trying to find them with no success, but thankfully there was one sure way to find them: the Hogwarts letters. The letters of acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, sent to British wizards and witches prior to their first year at Hogwarts. A special quill exists, which writes down the name of every magical child in Britain at the time of their birth. This allows Hogwarts letters to be sent to all magical children at the appropriate time, even those who are Muggle-born. As long as Harry and Laura were still alive, a letter with their current address would be written out on the envelope.
Today Dumbledore finally got the letters, just a short while before Harry and Laura would turn eleven. He was glad that he now knew where they were, the problem now was the fact that they weren't in England, Scotland or even Wales.
No, they were in some place called 'Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters', which happened to be located in America!
