By the time Davina woke up that morning Caspian was nowhere to be found and neither was the mysterious cleaning lady. There was however a breakfast feast prepared for her. "How am I supposed to eat all this?" She nearly cried at the thought of wasting the food.
Her mind was all over the place that morning. Caspian's behavior the previous night and the strange dream she had about her brother all contributed to her lack of proper sleep. She wouldn't feel at peace with herself unless she checked up on Gerrick to make sure he was safe and sound.
"He did say I can go wherever I want." Davina shrugged as she took a coat and immediately set out for the village square. The weather was gloomy that morning and it looked like there would be a sudden downpour any moment from now.
After an eventful walk down the hill and into the village square, Davina finally made it to her brother's bar. From the second she arrived at the door, she could feel something wasn't right.
