Gibbon yelled as the chains protected his back from the incoming attack. The man who tried to punch him was equally as surprised as the others.
Garp stared at the chains and thought, 'So it can be automatic. The fruits work, but I still don't know if they're artificial or not. I heard Kaido is currently buying them in masses and trying to build up his army. However, there's a downside to it, I don't know what it is, so we'll have to find out.'
Garp walked up and stopped the fight, "That's enough. Tell me, Gibbon, how does it feel, do you feel anything wrong in your body?"
Gibbon looked at his hands and body, examining them, and said, "No, I don't feel anything different, other than the fact that I can control the chains like they're my own limbs."
Garp smiled and replied, "Bahahahaha, that's good. I want you to test out the limit of that fruit. Send out as many chains as you can and hit me! Don't hold back!"
Gibbon was scared at first, but it was a direct order from Garp. Gibbon ordered all the chains he could control, 8 chains, and commanded them to strike Garp.
Seeing the 8 chains charging towards him, Garp smiled and hardened his body using Tekke. Garp's fist and the 8 chains with sharp tips met and created a gust of wind that blew the dust and leaves on the ground.
"Impressive," complemented Garp.
Although the chains were struggling, Gibbon did not feel any strain in his body. However, sensing the chains losing from Garp's brute strength, Gibbon moved his hands forward and put more strength onto the chains.
Sensing the sudden change in the chains, Garp smiled and thought, 'If he could control this much already, then he could potentially beat a Rear Admiral.'
Garp tensed his muscles and pushed the chains with his fist as hard as he could, to which the chains were pushed back and some were destroyed.
"Bahahahaha! Do you feel anything wrong?" Laughed Garp.
Gibbon got out of his stupor and said, "N-No… I was just surprised that's all."
"Good! Little brat, tell me about the other Devil Fruits!" Garp turned around and looked at Myne and demanded.
Myne smiled and opened the bag once again and pulled out a fruit. This time, the fruit looked like a dark red drop of blood. Its unique appearance gained the attention of the Marines.
Myne cleared her throat and explained, "This fruit is a Logia-type Devil Fruit called: Ketsue Ketsue No Mi (Blood). This Devil Fruit allows the user to turn into, manipulate, and create blood.
This fruit has many abilities, and one of its most powerful abilities is called: Blood Bath. Whenever the user kills something with blood, they would be able to control their blood and gain more physical capabilities. So the more you kill, the stronger you will become.
However, do note that this fruit cannot control other people's blood unless they have already killed them."
Garp, hearing the description of the fruit frowned and said, "Tsk. Strong but disgusting. I'm sure those damn pirates would love that fruit."
Dragging his words, Kizaru suggested buying the fruit, "Garp-san~, we should buy this Devil Fruit. It would be troublesome if some pirate bought it."
"Tsk. Fine, but we'll have to see the other Devil Fruits first."
Myne pulled out another fruit from the bag, and this time, the fruit looked like an apple with golden strings surrounding it. The fruit looked noble and had an aura to it. The name of the fruit was, Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Griffon.
Myne began to explain the fruit to the others, "This fruit is known as Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Griffon. This Devil Fruit gives the user immense physical strength. Not only that, it has two transformations:
Griffin form: The user will have their physical strength improve and their speed faster. The Griffin form rules the sky, allowing them to traverse the vast sky at insane speeds. Their claws will be sharper than most swords and their screech will be heard from miles away.
Hybrid form: The last form grants the user more physical power and speed, but this time, they will have a human body for better fighting capabilities."
Kizaru's interest peaked when he heard about speed, "King of the sky eh~? Is it faster than light?"
"Well, you'll have to buy it to test it out" Responded Myne.
Myne pulled another fruit from the bag. However, this time, she pulled two fruits with a different appearance. The first fruit was a red round fruit that had silver needles stuck on the fruit. The second fruit was a fruit with brown fur.
Myne began to explain the two fruits, "The first fruit is a paramecia-type devil fruit called Itami Itami No Mi (Pain). Once the user inflicts any kind of pain on a target, they can multiply the pain by how many times they want. However, this pain scales based on the user's power.
The second devil fruit is called Kuma Kuma no Mi: Model Grizzly Bear. The user will have the ability to turn in a grizzly bear and have the power of a grizzly bear."
Garp thought about the two Devil Fruits that were introduced and deduced that they weren't as useful as the other Devil Fruits.
Myne pulled two more Devil Fruits from the bag, being the last two Devil Fruits. The first Devil Fruit was a see-through pink crystal with a beautiful white flower inside. On the other hand, the last fruit was a fruit that had a smiling face. The front of the fruit had a white mast smiling with purple eyes, while the back had a red and black clown hat.
"The first fruit is called: Kesshō-Kesshō no Mi (Crystal-Crystal Fruit), a paramecia-type Devil Fruit. It allows the user to create and manipulate crystals. The crystals created can be almost indestructible. Lastly, the crystal can be formed into any shapes and forms.
Finally, the last fruit is called: Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Shaco, a mythical Zoan type. Whoever eats this fruit will be granted the power of Shaco, The Demon Jester. Shaco is a demon who kills for fun, he was once crafted as a toy for a prince but soon became a demon. His power and the power of the fruit are relatively unknown, but it was described as powerful"
"Shaco? I've never heard of it. Do you know the story about him? It's a mythical Zoan, I'm sure there's a story for this 'Shaco.'" Asked Garp
Myne took the Devil Fruit book that Markon gave her and started reading, "It says here that: Shaco was crafted long ago as a plaything for a lonely prince, the enchanted marionette Shaco now delights in murder and mayhem. Corrupted by dark magic and the loss of his beloved charge, the once-kind puppet finds pleasure only in the misery of the poor souls he torments. "Sounds troublesome…" Murmured Garp.
With a lazy face and a lazy tone, Kizaru asked, "Is that all the fruits? Can we decide on the two other fruits Garp-san?"
Garp got out of his stupor and immediately asked Myne to pack up 2 Devil Fruits. The two being: Kumo Kumo No Mi (Cloud) and Ketsue Ketsue No Mi (Blood), two Logia-type Devil Fruits. The Cloud Devil Fruit cost 150 million barries, while the Blood Devil Fruit cost 200 million barries, costing the Marines a total of 440 million barries.
As Myne was handing out the two fruits to Kizaru, Garp asked, "I forgot to ask, what are the other items you guys are selling?"
"Oh, you must be talking about our petricite goods. Well, petricite can be used for many different things. However, it's mainly used for combat as it's similar to sea stone. But the difference is that petricite not only disables Devil Fruits but also Haki."
Hearing what Myne said, every single one of the marines stopped talking and only the wind could be heard. Garp and Kizaru looked at Myne in disbelief with sweats all over their faces.
"Now, now. You're telling me, that there is an item that can disable Haki?" Asked Kizaru.
"Yes. Would you like to try it out?"
Garp immediately answered for Kizaru as such an item would be more valuable than Devil Fruits, especially for the Marines.
"Go grab a handcuff and handcuff this guy." Ordered Garp as he pointed at Kizaru
Kizaru just sighed as he couldn't argue with Garp.
Myne grabbed a handcuff and handcuffed Kizaru. With a nod, Garp ordered Kizaru to try to use his Devil Fruit. Kizaru tried to use his Devil Fruit by materializing into light, but nothing happened. He confirmed to Garp that his Devil Fruit wasn't working.
"Now use your Haki."
Kizaru tried and said, "No, there's nothing. I can't use my Haki nor my Devil Fruit."
Garp looked at Myne with a serious face and said, "How much?"
Myne smiled and said, "Well, petricite handcuffs are worth 2 million barries, the rings are 1.5 million, and the bullets are 1 million per 20 ammo. Do note that the rings allows the wearer to negate the effects of petricite."
Garp opened his eyes and said, "So cheap… brat, you do know that a single rod made out of sea stone costs billions, yet you're selling an improved version for only 1 million?"
Myne just smiled at Garp, to which Garp answered with a sigh, "The World Government won't like this. They have the monopolization of sea stones, and only they can obtain it by normal means. You would have to buy sea stones from the black market if you aren't affiliated with the World Government, meaning the price of sea stones is in the 10 billion."
"We know." Smiled Myne
A sigh was let out and Garp bought some petricite, "Give me 100 handcuffs, 150 rings, and 635 sets of ammo."
Garp used all of the remaining money to buy the petricites and set off to leave, "Alright, we're leaving! Kizaru, you're coming with us! We're going back to HQ, defending the goods will be our top priority!"
Myne waved off the leaving Marines as they left, while Luffy celebrated and thanked Myne,
"Thank you, maimed! Gramps would've beat me up and forced me to join the Marines!"
Hearing her name given by Luffy, veins began forming on Myne's forehead.
