Chapter 11 - instinct

*Boom*

Markon was sent flying by another punch given by the gorilla. The gorilla's punches have injured Markon severely, and broken Markons left arm.

It has been a one sided battle, with Markon getting pummeled by the now calmed beast. After the gorilla calmed its mind, it has dodged and blocked every attack attempted by Markon.

"The fuck is going on?"

Standing up, Markon questioned the events happening in front of him. He wiped the blood coming out of his nose and mouth and thought, 'Nah, there's no way he's using natural instinct like Rengar… Is it perhaps Observation Haki like what they used in the anime?"

Markon fixed his dislocated jaw and said, "Nah, ain't no way this retard knows how to use Observation Haki"

Markon Vanished and leaped towards the gorilla. However, the gorilla punched through air and stuck down Markon.

*Boom*

"Haaa… Maybe he does know Observation Haki… But how?"

Markon POV

Every time I go invisible, the gorilla always knows where I am and where I'm going. And looking at Rengars reaction, I highly doubt that he used it on Rengar before.

"So why? Why the hell does it have Observation Haki and why only use it now?"

I stood up from the numerous crater I have created since I started fighting the gorilla. I looked at the gorilla who looked back at me with indifference.

I sighed and closed my eyes, trying to calm my thoughts.

"Think of nothing…"

I stood there for a couple of minutes. However, nothing happened as it seemed impossible to clear my thoughts. And as I continued, the gorilla started beating his chest and ran towards me.

"Will you quiet the fuck down?! I'm trying to clear my mind damnit!"

The gorilla punched me. However, this time, I caught the fist and roared, activating one of my skills; Battle Roar

"Graaar!"

Red waves came out of my body and made my head go into a frenzy. My eyes turned red and my canines grew. My smaller wounds began to heal visible to the eyes, with my muscles growing stronger alongside it healing.

As I grew stronger, I managed to push the gorilla. Stunned, the gorilla was pushed back and got off balance. I took the opportunity and lunged at him, hitting his face with all I've got. The force of my fist was nothing to scoff at, and the back of his head was smashed onto the ground, creating cracks all around.

The gorilla's nose began to bleed. However, although strong, the punch wasn't enough to knockout the gorilla. It quickly stood up and roared once more.

The gorilla smashed the ground with his left hand, and as I was in the air, he threw a right hook.

*Boom*

*Huff* Huff* "Why the hell is it so hard to calm my mind?!"

I took a deep breath and sighed, trying to calm my mind once more. However, nothing worked as a lot of things were going on inside my head. Every time I would close my eyes, the thought of dying to the gorilla while I have my eyes closed, would always surface. It also doesn't help that I am thinking about how to win.

"Tsk. No more thinking, just charge!"

I charged at the gorilla without any plans and without any worries about my life. The gorilla struck using his arm. However, as the fist was gaining distance, I closed my eyes and dodged.

Surprised, the gorilla had a confused face even as I leaped towards it and struck its face once more.

The gorilla stumbled backwards, but my punch wasn't strong enough to knock it down.

As the gorilla stabilized its balance, it got a hold of a tree and threw it at me. I closed my eyes and calmed my mind.

As the tree got close, I ducked down and caught a stone from the ground. I threw the stone at the gorilla's one remaining eye. However, the gorilla blocked the stone.

"Graar!"

I suddenly disappeared and appeared right next to the gorilla, punching it on the face once more.

This time, the gorilla fell down and groaned in pain as I used my 'Battle Roar' and gained more strength. I stood on top of its head and pummeled him. I opened its eyes and he kept close in instinct and blinded it once more.

I ripped the eyes out and punched it back to the eye socket with full force, killing it in the process.

I stood there covered in blood, huffing from exhaustion, "Was that… Observation? It didn't feel that different from the natural instinct that Rengar taught me, but there was one difference… It was more… Refined?"

I stood there looking at my right arm, until a familiar figure appeared in front of me.

"Rengar" I said

Rengar smiled and responded, "You did it"

I smiled back at Rengar and said,

"Yeah"
