Rengar and I walked towards the direction of the house with my broken bones. The fight was harder than I thought, considering the power I've gained throughout the battles with the carnivores and my fights with Rengar. I did not know that the gorilla would have something like Observation Haki.
As we walked, Rengar suddenly started a conversation, "How did he dodge all your attacks?"
I looked at Rengar and said, "I don't know… I think they call it 'Haki' in this world."
"Haki?" pondered Rengar.
"Well, from my understanding, there are three types of Haki: Armament, Observation, and Conqueror's Haki."
"What do they do?"
"Well, I don't know much about them, but I do know the very basics of it. Armament makes your attacks stronger and your defense more resilient, Observation allows you to predict and have a better awareness, and lastly, Conqueror's makes those weaker than you get knocked out."
I looked back at Rengar, who had an intrigued expression as he said, "Interesting."
As the conversation reached its end, we reached the house, where I quickly went to my bed and went to sleep while Rengar treated my wounds.
------------------
"Argh."
I woke up with my head throbbing. I looked around and found myself in a familiar room. Remembering what had happened, I looked at my arms to see if they had healed. To my surprise, they had already healed, though they bore a few scars.
I closed my hand and opened it once more. "I feel stronger…"
I quickly got up and saw my naked body in the mirror. My body was now bigger and stronger than when I was first sent to this island. My body was full of scars made from different animals and from Rengar's attacks.
I touched the scars and smiled as I felt the proof of my numerous victories. Although some might call them ugly, I found them to be my pride. Even though those scars are from weak animals, they are still scars I earned from battles and near-death situations.
I put on my clothes and went outside, meeting Rengar eating his hunted food. I sat down and was about to grab a piece of meat when I was suddenly stopped by Rengar, who growled at me.
"Go get your own food."
I frowned and stood up. "What?"
The more time I spent with Rengar, the more my ego grew. I became somewhat of a narcissist and looked down upon animals weaker than me. My mindset was now different, mostly because I grew stronger through life-and-death situations. My mindset now was: You were once stronger than me, yet look at you now… Pathetic.
I glared at Rengar, who stood his ground, and said, "You must've forgotten who you're talking to."
Rengar laughed and said, "You aren't even worthy a prey, Markon."
I glared at Rengar and scoffed, knowing that he was right. He was holding back against the gorilla, and I barely killed it.
I left the house, washed my face, and looked around for food.
A few minutes later, I suddenly heard rustling. I quickly turned invisible and leaped onto a tree. I scanned the area and saw a family of white rabbits. I grinned and said,
"Well, well, well. If it isn't my worst nemesis."
Sensing the danger, the mother rabbit turned around and shielded her baby rabbits.
Intrigued, I turned invisible once more and jumped behind the rabbits, then suddenly appeared.
Sensing me slowly appearing behind them, they slowly turned around to look at me. The four rabbits were shocked, with one of the babies passing out from the shock.
I laughed at the baby rabbit, to which the mother rabbit responded by attempting to kick me in the face. I just laughed more and flicked the mother rabbit towards a nearby tree. Upon hitting the tree, the mother rabbit started to cough up blood. The baby rabbits went to their mom, with the one knocked out suddenly waking up again.
The baby rabbits cried seeing their mom, with their mom saying something in rabbit language, which I'm guessing was her will.
I laughed and said, "Hahahahahaha! It's not that serious, I didn't even hit you that hard."
I wiped my tears, to which the baby rabbit saw and became furious. They lunged at me and started punching my legs. I laughed even more and said,
"Man, you guys are hilarious. I remember when you guys were way stronger than me."
As I laughed at their struggles, I suddenly felt a nearby presence. I stopped the three babies and jumped towards the mother rabbit, protecting her from a wolf.
I punched the wolf's head off and pondered, "What? How is it here? Aren't the carnivores supposed to be on the other side of the island?"
I stood up and looked to my left. I saw six pairs of eyes, with six wolves coming out from the shadows. The baby rabbits looked scared and confused, while the mother rabbit looked worried and had a pondering face.
I looked at the mother rabbit and asked, "You know something?"
The rabbit nodded to answer my question. I nodded back and dashed towards the wolves, quickly taking their heads off.
Seeing my speed, the baby rabbits hid behind their mom's back. I scoffed and asked, "Okay, so what's happening?"
The mother rabbit began speaking. However, I didn't understand anything, as she was talking in rabbit language.
"Wait, wait, wait! What the fuck are you saying? You can understand me, yet you can't speak human language?"
The mother rabbit pouted and stomped her right foot on the ground continuously.
"Okay, okay, okay… We'll find a way—"
Before I could finish, the mother rabbit jumped on my shoulder, with her babies following. She pointed in a direction, to which I asked,
"What?"
She slapped me and began yelling in her rabbit language while pointing in a certain direction. Confused, I followed the direction she was pointing at.
In the end, we arrived at the petricite border, with the gorilla still lying down dead.
The mother rabbit went down to get a better view. She then started panicking while running around in circles yelling. I looked at the baby rabbits, and they just shrugged, not knowing what happened to their mom.
"What? Why are you running around?"
The mother rabbit looked at me and pointed at the gorilla. I smiled and said,
"Oh, that? I did that. I forgot to get its fangs though; I'll quickly get them."
The mother rabbit glared at me and began to hit my legs. Confused, I asked her what her problem was, until she pointed at the gorilla once more.
The carnivores were crossing the petricite border but were avoiding the giant gorilla, not even eating it.
"Was he like a guardian or something?"
The mother rabbit began to nod. I scoffed and said,
"Damn. Your guardian was ass."
The mother rabbit began to turn red and started hitting my legs once more.
