Turning around, Sasuke zoomed off, chasing after the crow with immense speed.
It led him to the top of a rather tall mansion, cawed for a few moments and then flew away unceremoniously, just as it had arrived, leaving Sasuke gobsmacked and speechless.
He waited and surveyed the area for a few moments, before he shook his head and readied himself to leave.
Not until his Sharingan finally spotted a drunk figure staggering slightly along the streets.
A small smile crept up to his face and continued tracking the figure. The unidentified figure was the very reason why he had come to this area in the first place.

Walking out of a drinking bar, Toji, dressed in a normal sweatsuit and flip flops walked out staggering here and there. Despite the nonchalance and carefreeness he exuded, he was fuming especially today. He had decided to bet nearly 2600 dollars from a recent mission on a couple of horse racing games, and the outcome?
He had lost bitterly. But. A man like him couldn't wallow in depression or cry. His pride wouldn't allow that. Instead he walked into a bar as usual to drink his sorrows away.
For some reason, he felt rather tipsy today, which was rather weird because his Heavenly Restriction wouldn't allow that, but then again, who was he to complain. For someone who could see reality for what it truly was, life literally became bland and colourless after Fushiguro passed away.
She was his anchor, a beacon of light, that shone onto him, revealing true peace and beauty in this wretched existence. With her, even a chaotic fellow like Toji felt at peace, safe from all the judgement and condescent from his family and from the Jujutsu society. With her, he truly believed he could change for the better..
But...
Life just had to shoot him right in the guts. Fushiguro had died mysteriously. Even after days and days of massacring and piling up bodies, of both mercenaries and socerers, he still had no clue whatsoever who the killer was. Everything he had built with her, the memories, the love, the progress, it all came crumbling down.
"Ah fuck..."
He cursed out silently, and raised his head towards the sky. The beautiful clouds seemed to rearrange themselves into the beautiful silhouette of a young woman that kept smiling towards him.
'Fushiguro. I really am a jackass.....
I threw it all away. Everything we built. Even our- our son. Sigh.."
Looking towards the beautiful woman's image in the clouds, Toji leaned against a pole, and sighed, silently confessing, until he remembered the face of a young boy, a boy that was the spitting image of his wife.
Toji, no matter how hard hearted he was, couldn't bear to look his son in the face after failing to protect Fushiguro and even failing to avenge her. At least he could live with the guilt of Fushiguro's passing.
His son, whatever his name was, deserved a better life. With his incredible talent, he would be a hot shot in the Zen'in clan. He didn't need to include the boy in his messy life. At least, with the care from the Zen'in clan, the boy would even forget about him in the end.
Not that it sounded sane or anything, but it was better than having the boy hate him all his life. God knows that would be unbearable..
Spending a few minutes to clear up his thoughts, Toji shook his head, feeling the effects of the alcohol wane considerably. Placing both hands in his pockets, he yawned and cracked his neck. A good nap would've been ideal in this situation, but he had to get home first. Hopefully he wouldn't have to make another detour on the road. It was exhausting trying to convince himself to stop drinking at this point.
He walked for a couple of minutes and branched into a nearby alleyway. After taking only a couple of steps ahead, he paused and turned around raising his brows and staring right at the tall buildings that cast looming shadows over his figure.
"Ah fuck. I'm not in a good mood right now..
Are you going to come out or should I force you to?"
Scratching his head in annoyance, Toji's eyes gleamed dangerously, yet his expression and demeanour remained unchanged.
*Step..*
*Step..*
A couple of footsteps rang out, from behind Toji, and a figure slowly walked out. Sasuke glared towards Toji and stood across him calmly, as he watched the man slowly turn around to face him.
"I see you took my fashion advice to heart, but still this is not it.."
Toji's response to seeing him was more of a ridicule, as he examined the long black robe that reached up to Sasuke's legs.
"What happened between you and the Zen'in clan? And why did it lead to a fallout?"
Sasuke asked, as if he didn't know the answer to that. But Toji was not nearly as merciless and heartless as people thought him to be. In the right circumstances, he could be a great ally. And his directions were definitely needed if he was to go against them.
"Hmmm..I saw what they did to you. I was right there. In fact, your mother came from a long line from Jujutsu sorcerers, the same as mine. We are related..."
Toji smiled, walked to a street light and leaned against it.
"What?"
Disbelief was etched onto Sasuke's face. He knew his mother was from another Jujutsu clan. He didn't know what clan it was, and he didn't care at this point.
"Yep. Your mother was my cousin. An older cousin. And the only one who I still remember and acknowledge from that clan..
She begged me to help you back then, when you were still a toddler, basking in the spotlight, as the clan's chosen child."
Toji smirked, looking at the discomfort on Sasuke's face.
"Sigh."
Sasuke couldn't help but sigh. He couldn't even be mad at Toji for ditching his previous self back then. The man literally sold his own son to another clan for crying out loud.
"Your mother's clan was a weird one. They possessed weird techniques. All of the male children born from the clan's females and outsiders would end up becoming accursed. It's the reason the clan hated me, and the same reason the clan turned on you..And as for Kazumi..hahaha.
How could a master of reverse cursed technique die to an ailment?"
Toji picked his teeth with his long fingernails and spoke while sucking his teeth nonchalantly. Meanwhile, Sasuke who listened to his words couldn't help but feel his soul churn at the mention of his mother's name..
It was as if a part of his soul was reacting adversely to that name, and it made him severely uncomfortable, nauseous even.
"What happened to my mother?!"
His voice louded itself uncontrollably. It was almost as if he was being possessed by another part of his own self. A darker aspect of himself..
"Yep. This is the emotion I was looking for.."
Looking at the frustration and fear on Sasuke's face, Toji slowly pulled out his hands from both pockets and blitzed towards him at sub sonic speed.
He had not even had time to switch to the Sharingan when Toji's hand clawed towards his neck.
*BANG!*
Toji smashed him into a building with enough force to crash a car, and held him there, as blood spurted from the youth's mouth and nose.
Despite the pain, Sasuke's held on, grabbing onto Toji's arm that pinned him to the building. His irises slowly swirling and transforming into his fully matured three tomoe Sharingan that glared defiantly into Toji's brown ones.
"What the fuck happened to her?!"
He cursed, growling loudly, as a mad fury erupted from deep within his soul. Torrents cursed energy exploded forth from within his core in waves, drowning a circumference of about a mile in waves of purplish black light.
The three almagamated souls that made up Sasuke's being had all lost their mothers in terrible ways.
The OG himself lost his mother at the bands of Itachi. Virgil was responsible for her death and Zen'in Sasuke lost her from a supposed ailment. Toji bringing up this matter was akin to bringing back sealed up memories from each past life that caused the three souls within him to react adversely.
*BANG!*
A burst of cursed energy sent Toji flying several meters away, crashing into a small warehouse in the distance, but he bounced back immediately and shrugged off the damage as if it was nothing.
"Fuck... That's it. That power. You bastard. You were holding back in our previous fight weren't you?"
Toji smirked uncontrollably, as his cursed spirit slowly materialized onto his shoulder and spat out, a red three sectioned staff which he gracefully hoisted onto his shoulder.
However, Toji's eyes widened in shock when he witnessed the strange changes happening to Sasuke's body. The robe on his body was torn off as well as his upper robe. His skin turned gray, his hair spiked out, and his lips turned purple.
A small deep black tattoo of a four sectioned cross materialized on his nose, and most strangely of all, two fleshy masses burst out of his back and disgustingly transformed into two fleshy clawed wings at his back.
At this point, even with Toji's confident smile, his skin crawled in disgust and a hint of surprise, as he watched the transformed beast like Sasuke glaring towards him with pure unadulterated rage.
Even with his Heavenly Restriction's low attunement to cursed energy, Toji could feel some sort of power emanating from Sasuke's body. It wasn't even fit to be called cursed energy any longer. The energy was extremely pure just like Reverse cursed technique yet it was far more volatile than anything he had ever seen..It felt demonic, yet at the same time, Heavenly, almost sagely....
Just what the hell was this kid exactly??
Meanwhile, Sasuke was his body on autopilot and sighed inwardly.
