John's face turned red with anger and desperation as he pushed Hana to the wall. "Choose, Hana! Choose between me and Thane!", Hana's tears streamed down her face as she looked at her father, then at Thane. She knew what she had to do, but it was so hard.
"Daddy, I..." she started, her voice trembling."Choose, Hana!" John demanded, his voice rising.
Hana took a deep breath and made her choice. "Thane," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. John's face turned white with rage. "You're making a big mistake, Hana," he said, his voice cold and detached. "If you choose Thane, I'll disown you. You'll never see me or your family again."
Hana knew she had to think fast. She knew telling her father she loved Thane wouldn't work, so she lied on impulse. "I'm pregnant, Daddy," she said, her voice shaking. "Thane and I are having a baby."
John's face turned purple with rage, and he looked like he was about to explode. "You're a liar, Hana!" he shouted. "You're just trying to justify your stupid decision!",but Hana stood her ground, despite her tears and fears. She knew she had made the right choice, no matter how hard it was. She had chosen Thane, and she was willing to face the consequences.
"I'm not lying about the baby, Daddy," Hana said, her voice firm but shaking. Thane's eyes widened in shock, and he took a step back, his face pale. But then he quickly caught up to Hana's act and played along.
"John, think about it," Thane said, his voice calm and reasonable. "We're soon to be parents. We can't just separate for the sake of our child, if not for anything else. We have to think about our child's future."
Hana played the emotional card, her voice cracking with tears. "Daddy, you wouldn't want your grandchild to grow up in a single-parent family without a father, would you? You always taught me the importance of family and having both parents in the picture."
John's face twisted in anger and pain, and he spat out the words. "I have no grandchild. You are no longer my daughter. You've made your choice, Hana. Now live with it.", Hana's tears flowed freely now, and she sobbed uncontrollably. Thane wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as they both faced John's rejection.
"We'll face this together, Hana," Thane whispered in her ear. "We'll build our own family, just the two of us. We don't need your father's approval or love.", but Hana knew that Thane's words, as comforting as they were, couldn't erase the pain of her father's rejection. She knew that this was just the beginning of a long and difficult journey.
Hana took her bag from Thane, who was still holding it for her. She rummaged through it and brought out her sunglasses, putting them on to hide the fact that she had been crying. Thane collected her baby blue limited edition bag and led her back to their seats next to each other for the rest of the event.
As they sat down, Hana's parents got up and left, their faces stern and disapproving. Hana felt a pang of sadness and loss, but Thane's hand on hers comforted her. "Hey, it's okay," Thane whispered in her ear. "We're in this together now. We don't need them."
Hana nodded, trying to smile through her tears. She put on a brave face, determined to enjoy the rest of the event with Thane by her side.
As the evening wore on, Hana and Thane chatted and laughed together, their chemistry and connection growing stronger with every passing minute. They danced and took photos together, their happiness and love radiating for all to see.
Despite the drama and tension with her parents, Hana felt a sense of freedom and joy that she had never experienced before. She knew that she had made the right choice in choosing Thane, and she was excited to see what the future held for them.
As the night drew to a close, Thane walked Hana out of the venue, his arm around her shoulders. They stepped out into the cool night air, feeling happy and content in each other's company.
"You know, I never thought I'd say this," Thane said, looking at Hana with a smile. "But I'm really glad your parents didn't approve of us. If they had, I might have missed out on the love of my life."
Hana's heart melted at his words, and she leaned in to kiss him. "I'm glad too," she said, smiling up at him. "I love you, Thane."
"I love you too, Hana," Thane replied, his eyes shining with happiness. "Forever and always."
As the evening wore on, Hana and Thane decided to head back to her dormitory to collect the remaining belongings she had left behind. They walked hand in hand, enjoying the peaceful night air and each other's company.
When they arrived at the dormitory, they ran into Amelia, who was studying in the common room. They greeted her warmly, and Thane offered to help Hana gather her belongings.
"I'll call some guys to help us move the rest of your stuff," Thane said, pulling out his phone. "Why don't you go ahead and pack up the last of your things?"
Hana nodded, and Thane escorted her to her room while he made the call. As they packed up the last of her belongings, Thane's workers arrived to help with the move.
Thane took Hana's bags and led her to his car, which was parked outside. They drove to his villa in comfortable silence, enjoying the night air and each other's company.
When they arrived at the villa, Thane showed Hana to her new room, which was beautifully decorated and had a stunning view of the surrounding landscape."I hope you like it," Thane said, smiling at her. "I wanted to make sure you felt at home here."
Hana's heart melted at his thoughtfulness, and she threw her arms around him. "I love it," she said, smiling up at him. "I love you." Thane's eyes shone with happiness, and he kissed her tenderly. "I love you too, Hana. Welcome home."
