Thane walked into Hana's room, his presence commanding attention. Elara, who had been sitting with Hana, quickly excused herself, leaving the two alone. Hana tried to follow Elara, but Thane grabbed her arm, holding her back. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked, his voice firm.
Hana struggled to free herself, but Thane's grip was too strong. He locked her room door and dangled the keys before her, smiling condescendingly. "You're not going anywhere, Hana," he said, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
Hana's eyes flashed with anger, but Thane just chuckled and put the keys in his pocket. "Don't bother trying to escape," he said. "My guards are outside your door. You're not going anywhere."Hana's face burned with humiliation and frustration. She was trapped, and Thane knew it. He smiled again, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and Hana felt a surge of hatred towards him.
"Let me go," she spat, trying to twist out of his grasp. Thane's smile grew wider. "Oh, Hana," he said. "You're so feisty. I like that." Hana's eyes narrowed. "I'll never like you," she said, her voice venomous. Thane chuckled. "We'll see about that," he said, his eyes glinting with challenge. "I always get what I want, Hana. And right now, I want you."
Hana shuddered at his words, feeling a chill run down her spine. She knew she had to escape, but for now, she was trapped. All her determination washed down the drain as she tried to make a run for it, but Thane was too quick. He caught her effortlessly and ruthlessly tossed her onto the bed. Hana landed with a soft thud, her breath knocked out of her. She struggled to sit up, but Thane was already on top of her, his eyes blazing with intensity.
"You shouldn't have tried that," he growled, his voice low and menacing. Hana's heart raced with fear as Thane's hands pinned her down, his grip like a vice. She knew she was trapped, and Thane's expression showed no mercy. "I'll never let you go," he snarled, his breath hot on her face.
Hana's struggles weakened, her body trembling beneath Thane's. She knew she was no match for his strength, and her determination began to fade. Just as Thane's lips were about to crash down on hers, a loud knock at the door broke the tension. "Thane, we need to talk," a deep voice called out.
Anthony's eyes widened in shock as he took in the scene before him. "Thane, what the...?" Thane's head jerked up, his eyes blazing with intensity. "Anthony, get out." But Anthony didn't move. He was frozen in place, his eyes fixed on Hana's flushed face. Hana's eyes darted to Anthony, her face burning with embarrassment.
"Ah, damn it," Thane muttered, getting up from the bed. "This is not how I wanted things to go."Anthony's gaze snapped to Thane, his expression disapproving. "Thane, what are you doing? She's a civilian."
Thane's jaw clenched. "I know that, Anthony. But things are complicated." Hana's eyes darted between the two men, her mind reeling. What was going on? Anthony's expression softened as he looked at Hana. "Hana, are you okay?" Hana nodded, still trying to process what was happening.
Thane's eyes narrowed. "Anthony, I said get out." Anthony hesitated before turning and walking out of the room. As soon as the door closed, Thane turned to Hana. "Where were we?" Hana's eyes widened as Thane's gaze burned with intensity. "I think we were about to get to know each other better," Thane said, his voice low and husky.
Hana's heart raced as Thane's eyes seemed to bore into her soul. "I don't think that's a good idea," Hana stammered.Thane's gaze didn't waver. "Oh, I think it's a great idea." And with that, Thane's lips crashed down on Hana's, leaving her breathless and wanting more.
