Hana nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Thane. "Thank you," she said, her voice sincere. "Thank you for understanding." Thane smiled, his heart beating wildly in his chest "I'm just trying to make things right, Hana," he said. "I know I haven't been the best person in the past, but I want to change that."
Hana's heart went out to him, seeing the genuine desire to change in his eyes. She took a step closer to him, and then, on impulse, she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. Thane's body stiffened in surprise, but then he relaxed into the hug, his arms wrapping around her in return. "Thank you, Hana," he whispered into her hair. "Thank you for giving me a chance."
Hana pulled back, looking up at him with a smile. "We all deserve second chances, Thane," she said. "Let's make the most of ours." Thane's eyes shone with emotion as he looked at her, and for a moment, they just stood there, holding each other. Then, slowly, Thane's face broke into a smile, and he leaned in to kiss her.
Hana's heart raced as their lips met, the spark between them igniting into a flame. She knew in that moment that she had made the right decision in giving Thane a chance. And as they pulled back, gasping for air, Hana knew that their story was only just beginning.
Thane led Hana to a sleek black car, parked in front of his mansion. He opened the door for her, and she hesitated for a moment before getting in. As he drove, the silence between them was palpable. "Where are we going?" Hana asked finally, breaking the silence.
"We're going back to your dorm room," Thane replied, his eyes fixed on the road. Hana's eyes widened in surprise. "My dorm room? But...but that's where you kidnapped me in the first place!"
Thane nodded, his expression unreadable. "I know. I want to take you back to where it all started. To make things right." Hana shook her head, confusion and fear warring inside her. "I don't understand, Thane. What's going on?"
Thane didn't respond, his jaw clenched in determination. Hana's mind raced with questions and doubts, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that Thane was trying to make amends, as they arrived at the dorm room, Hana's anxiety spiked. This was where her nightmare had begun, and now Thane was taking her back to the scene of the crime.
But as they reached the door, Thane turned to her with a gentle smile. "I promise, Hana, I won't hurt you. I just want to make things right." Hana's heart raced, but she nodded hesitantly. Thane opened the door, and they stepped inside. The room was just as she had left it, but now it felt different. Thane's presence seemed to fill the space, and Hana felt a strange sense of calm wash over her.
"Thane, what's going on?" she asked again, her voice barely above a whisper, Thane took a deep breath before answering. "I want to start over, Hana. I want to prove to you that I'm not a monster. That I can be the one you need."
Thane's eyes softened as he looked at Hana, his voice filled with emotion. "I know I don't deserve it, but...can I have a hug?" he asked, his arms open. Hana hesitated for a moment, but then stepped into his embrace. Thane wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as he inhaled the scent of her hair, "Thank you," he whispered, his voice muffled against her head.
As they pulled apart, Thane's eyes locked onto hers. "And...can I have a goodbye kiss?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Hana's heart skipped a beat as she nodded, her lips parting slightly. Thane leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, gentle kiss.
It was a kiss that spoke of longing, of regret, and of hope. Hana felt her heart ache as she realized that this might be the last time she ever saw Thane, as they pulled back, Thane smiled sadly. "Goodbye, Hana," he said, his voice cracking. "Take care of yourself."
Hana nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "Goodbye, Thane," she whispered back, and with that, Thane turned and walked away, leaving Hana alone in her dorm room, her heart heavy with emotion.
