After dinner, Hana and Amelia walked back to their dorm rooms, chatting and laughing together. As they entered their room, Hana flopped down on her bed, exhausted. "Thanks for tonight, Mel," Hana said, her eyes already closing. "I needed that."
Amelia smiled and climbed into her own bed. "Anytime, Hana. That's what friends are for." As they settled in for the night, Hana felt a sense of comfort and security with Amelia by her side. She knew that no matter what, Amelia would always be there for her.
As they drifted off to sleep, Hana reached out and took Amelia's hand, feeling grateful for their friendship. "Love you, Mel," Hana whispered, her voice barely audible. "Love you too, Hana," Amelia replied, squeezing her hand gently. And with that, they both fell asleep, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of their friendship.
Thane arrived at his villa, located in a luxurious estate in the city. He stepped out of his car and gazed up at the grand entrance, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He had needed to get out of the mansion, away from the constant reminders of his family's legacy.
As he entered the villa, he was greeted by the warm glow of the interior lighting. He made his way to the living room, where he collapsed onto the couch, running his hands through his hair. Just as he was starting to relax, his phone buzzed. He hesitated for a moment before answering,"Thane," he said curtly,"Hey, Thane. It's Hana. I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing."
Thane's heart skipped a beat at the sound of Hana's voice. He hadn't expected her to call him, especially not so soon. "I'm doing alright, Hana. Just needed some time to myself," he replied, trying to sound casual.
"Okay, yeah. I get it. I just wanted to make sure you're okay. We didn't exactly part on the best terms, and I was worried about you."Thane smiled wryly. "I appreciate that, Hana. But I'm fine. Really."There was a pause on the other end of the line before Hana spoke up again."Okay, Thane. Well, take care of yourself, okay?" "Will do, Hana. You too."
As they hung up, Thane couldn't help but feel a pang of longing. He missed Hana already, and the sound of her voice had only made it worse. He sighed and stood up, deciding to distract himself by taking a walk around the villa. Maybe the fresh air would clear his head and help him shake off the lingering emotions.
Thane's bodyguards kept him informed about Hana's whereabouts and any potential threats, all without Amelia's knowledge. They were discreet and professional, and Thane trusted them implicitly.
As the days went by, Thane found himself growing more and more protective of Hana. He knew it was irrational, but he couldn't shake the feeling that she was in danger. One night, Thane's bodyguards informed him that Hana was at a club with Amelia. Thane decided to go to the club, just to keep an eye on her.
When he arrived, he spotted Hana and Amelia dancing together. Thane's eyes scanned the crowd, looking for any potential threats. That's when he saw him - the guy who had tried to harass Hana at dinner. Thane's instincts kicked in, and he immediately moved towards Hana.
But before he could reach her, Amelia had already intervened, standing up to the guy and chasing him off. Thane was impressed. Amelia was fierce and loyal, and he knew Hana was lucky to have her as a friend.
As the night wore on, Thane kept a discreet distance, watching over Hana from afar. He knew she was safe with Amelia by her side, but he couldn't help feeling a sense of responsibility towards her. And so, Thane continued to watch over Hana, always lurking in the shadows, ready to protect her if necessary. But he knew he had to be careful - Amelia couldn't know about his involvement. Not yet, at least.
Thane's eyes were fixed on his phone, his mind racing with scenarios. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Hana was in danger. He needed to know more about this guy and what he was capable of. Just then, his phone buzzed again. It was the bodyguard.
"Sir, we've got a situation. The guy is heading to Hana's dorm room. We're not sure what he's planning, but we think you should know," the text read. Thane's heart raced. He couldn't believe what he was reading. He needed to act fast. "Get me to Hana's dorm room now," Thane barked into the phone.
Within minutes, Thane arrived at Hana's dorm room, his heart pounding in his chest. He could see the guy lurking outside her room, his eyes fixed on the door. Thane's instincts took over. He strode up to the guy, his eyes blazing with anger. "Leave now, or you'll regret it," Thane growled and showed his teeth.
The guy took one look at Thane and ran. Thane watched him go, his chest heaving with relief,He turned to Hana's door and knocked softly. "Hana, it's me, Thane. I need to talk to you." Hana opened the door, looking worried. "Thane, what's going on?" Thane took a deep breath. "We need to talk." "Thane, what's going on?" Hana asked again, her voice laced with concern.
Thane stepped inside her dorm room, his eyes scanning the space to make sure they were alone. "I just got word that the guy who tried to harass you at dinner tonight was heading to your dorm room," he said, his voice low and serious.
Hana's eyes widened. "Oh my god, that's creepy. Did he say what he wanted?"Thane shook his head. "No, but I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to make sure you're safe, Hana." Hana nodded, looking relieved. "Thanks, Thane. I appreciate it."
Thane smiled and took a step closer to her. "I'll always be here to protect you, Hana. You're important to me." Hana's face softened, and she looked up at Thane with a hint of vulnerability. "Thanks, Thane. That means a lot to me."
As they stood there, the tension between them was palpable. Thane knew he needed to keep his distance, but he couldn't help the way he felt. He wanted to be close to Hana, to keep her safe and make her happy.
Just then, Hana's phone buzzed. She looked at the screen and gasped. "It's Amelia. She wants to know if I'm okay." Thane nodded. "Tell her you're safe, but don't mention me being here. I don't want her to worry."
Hana nodded and texted Amelia back. "Okay, done." Thane smiled and took a step back. "I should go. But know that I'm always here for you, Hana." Hana smiled back, looking grateful. "Thanks, Thane. Goodnight." Thane nodded and slipped out of her dorm room, his heart still racing with concern. He knew he'd do anything to keep Hana safe.
