Father Guzman was kind enough to give Angelo some money and a new motorola starsac flip phone and Angelo put all his friend's numbers in it immediately. He's never owned a phone, it was the landline at home he was using to contact his parents.
Angelo loves Father Guzman because he acts just like a father to him. A father he wished he had but that tiny negative voice in Angelo's brain can't help but wonder if Father Guzman would send him packing if he found out he was gay. Well, since God speaks to him doesn't he think God would have told him about his sexuality? Or maybe God doesn't care about Anglo's sexuality and people make it look like such a big deal.
