*Jiron:* A name formed by author; I imagine the place to be the trial of one's mental strength. It's an illusion born for cultivators.
....
Han Jun opened his crimson eyes again. He raised his head up and looked beside him, only to find it empty. He frowned and went outside. The desert was abnormally calm and silent; his brows tightened.
"Looking for me?" Ling Wei's cheerful voice sounded behind him. He turned around and saw Ling Wei's beautiful smiling face, but strangely, looking at her, he felt that something was different about her. No, the feeling was more like this wasn't Ling Wei.
"Ling Wei, are you fine?" he asked in a worried tone, deciding to ignore his feelings.
Ling Wei chuckled. "Do I look like I'm not fine? Here I am, healthy." She walked closer to him.
Han Jun frowned suspiciously.
"It's already noon; let's continue on our journey," Ling Wei said.
Han Jun cast another glance at Ling Wei before nodding his head. "Where are those people?" he asked when he didn't see Yong Li and the others.
"They…" Ling Wei frowned faintly. "They proceeded already. You were still sleeping, so I decided not to wake you up. I know the place, so I asked them to move forward." She smiled beautifully.
Han Jun's brows frowned tighter, but he said nothing. He couldn't shake the feeling he was having, no matter how much he tried.
"Ha, let's go, so we can catch up." Ling Wei approached Han Jun and locked her arm with his, sending him a charming smile.
As soon as Ling Wei touched Han Jun, his eyes flashed a hint of blue, and uncontrollably, he separated his arm from Ling Wei and grabbed her neck, raising her up in the air.
"You made a mistake. Currently, my Ling Wei isn't excited to visit Wonderland, and secondly, those people depend on my ability. They can't go without me. So explain yourself: who are you?" His voice was as chilling as ever.
Ling Wei struggled to break free from Han Jun's hold; her face was red from being choked and lacking breath. "I… I am Ling Wei… your Ling Wei," she stammered.
Han Jun tightened his grip around Ling Wei's neck until a sudden force came out of nowhere and sent him flying. Then a melodious voice sounded.
"Haha! Wow! How good! How good! It's you, it's really you!"
Han Jun got up from the ground with an annoyed expression on his face. "Show yourself if you dare," he said.
The voice was silent for a while before replying in a low tone, "I'm waiting."
The Ling Wei on the ground, gasping for air, suddenly disappeared, her gaze fixed on Han Jun.
Han Jun was confused; the voice seemed strange to him. "Where is Ling Wei?" he asked, but after waiting for a long moment, no one replied him. Suddenly, the world around him slowly disappeared, and he lost consciousness once again.
---
Han Jun opened his eyes suddenly and looked around, finding Ling Wei looking at him with a worried expression on her face.
"Wei Wei," he used a force to draw Ling Wei to himself and hugged her tightly. "Was that a dream? But it felt real… too real," he thought to himself.
Ling Wei hugged Han Jun back, a smile appearing on her face. "Seems like he didn't remember what happened to him; that's good too," she thought to herself.
Han Jun released Ling Wei from his embrace and looked at her, his hands resting on her shoulders. "You look too pale; what happened to you?" he asked with furrowed brows.
"Dear husband, you exhausted your powers last night. The task of watching over you was mine, you know," Ling Wei lied, an awkward smile covering her nervous gaze.
Han Jun suspected nothing and leaned in to kiss her. "You don't have to punish yourself with sleeplessness. If you want that, then ask me directly," he smiled, capturing her lips. He pulled her to lie on him, his hand roaming around her body.
"Elder brother Han, are you awake?" Yong Li called from outside Han Jun's tent.
Han Jun stopped his actions and looked into Ling Wei's eyes. "Let's keep this for later," he smiled, getting up and helping Ling Wei up as well.
Both of them exited the tent, as soon as they exit it, the tent vanished . The group continued their journey.
"Elder brother Han, I think we are getting closer to the Fire Trial," Yong Li said to Han Jun, trying to stair up conversation even though they are no where near the fire born.
Han Jun continued walking with Ling Wei beside him. Completely ignoring him.
The group was suddenly teleported by a portal that appeared in thin air, transporting them to the Fire Realm.
---
The sky was red, and the heat in the air made the people sweat. Yong Li helped his group endure it with the aid of his ice element.
They continued walking through the heat until they saw a sea of flames in front of them, with a tiny bridge serving as the only way to the other side.
"Older brother Han," Yong Li looked at Han Jun for guidance.
"Find your own way; I'm not really interested in saving men," Han Jun replied emotionlessly.
Yong Li sighed, knowing Han Jun was telling the truth. Earlier in the Desert Born, he hadn't helped them when they were beaten until they were covered in blood, with some even dying. If the desert dragon hadn't provoked him by laying its eyes on Ling Wei, he wouldn't have intervened at all. He debated whether he had made the right decision by inviting Han Jun to join them.
Ling Wei observed the pale faces of the men and a mocking smirk appeared on her lips as she folded her arms.
"Gather your energy together and create a larger bridge above it," Han Jun said after a long silence.
Hearing Han Jun's words, Yong Li raised his head, and a happy smile formed on his face. "Thank you for your advice, Elder Brother Han," he appreciated his knowledge.
Han Jun nodded.
"Let's do this, brothers," Yong Li said, and the ground started to resonate with their powers. Soon, five different colors—blue, green, yellow, black, and red—formed together. With Yong Li as the leader, the light was successfully shaped into a bridge over the flame Sea.
"Wow, I can't believe that the Fire Born Trial will turn out to be so easy," someone commented among Yong Li's group.
"Yeah, it's really easy! I believe we will find the treasures we are here for!" another person expressed their happiness.
The people made cheerful comments.
Hearing their remarks, Yong Li concluded he had made the right decision by inviting Han Jun to join them. Even if they managed to survive, they would never have thought of using their energy to create a bridge over the sea of fire. Though they had exhausted their spiritual sources in forming the bridge, they regretted nothing.
"Elder Brother Han, this bridge will last only for a few blinks of the eye. You gave us this idea; please be the first to go. If the bridge collapses before all of us cross the sea, we won't regret it," Yong Li bowed respectfully.
Han Jun looked at Yong Li and raised an eyebrow. "Do I need this when the powers inside me automatically work whenever I need them? Besides, who knows if this thing is stable? Should I step on it and end up in the sea of flames? It would be madness to let a non-experienced cultivator like me follow your words," he thought to himself and then said, "I just lent you advice, not my life. Go if you want."
Yong Li was speechless, struggling to find suitable words to respond. All he could do was smile awkwardly as he led his group toward the end of the sea. As soon as the group successfully crossed the sea, the bridge disappeared.
"Elder Brother Han, what should we do to help you?" Yong Li shouted loudly.
"Let's go," Han Jun replied, ignoring Yong Li as he grabbed Ling Wei by her waist and flew directly over the sea of flames.
The group of Yong Li stood in awe, watching Han Jun and Ling Wei fly over the blazing sea with ease.
Han Jun was surprised by the calm flames, and he couldn't help but raise his brows in curiosity regarding his own powers.
Once Han Jun and Ling Wei landed safely on the ground, a portal appeared again, teleporting them to Jiron Born.
As soon as the portal transported them to Jiron Born, everyone stepped into the illusion immediately. No one was left behind.
Han Jun found himself in a beautiful room, surrounded by stunning women begging for his attention. Even though it was an illusion, how could Han Jun let the rare opportunity of being surrounded by women slip away just like that?
Things weren't the same; he was no longer the gentleman Han Jun. Now, he was the Pervert God Han Jun, who could capture every woman at will. Even in the illusion, he was not ready to break free. Wether it's illusion or not, beautiful women are meant to be his.
He was fully conscious but unwilling to escape the illusion so soon. He calmly enjoyed the touch of the beautiful women, feeling their curves and softness with his hands.
Ling Wei was trapped in the illusion as well, spending quality time with Han Jun. Laying on a big bed next to him, she gently caressed his hair. She raised her head and said, "Han Jun, leave every other woman and be mine alone." Her voice was soft and sweet.
Han Jun smiled and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "If that's what my princess wants, then I shall fulfill your desire. I will have no other woman aside from you," he replied.
Ling Wei smiled in satisfaction and cuddled up to Han Jun. "I'm now relieved," she murmured.
Yong Li found himself bathing in a pool of gold, completely lost in the illusion to the point that he didn't even wish to come back.
The other four were also lost in their own illusions, each one created to cater to their deepest desires.
...
Han Jun, who was enjoying the company of the women, suddenly felt someone looking at him from the very corner of the room. He frowned and turned to meet the gaze, his eyes widening as he looked into a pair of golden eyes.
"You are quite aware that this is illusion yet you don't want to leave— is this madness or Craziness?"
