Chapter 1 - The Prophecy

Before any life forms existed on the planet, it was merely a massive sphere of rock drifting aimlessly through the universe. Until an entity of unknown origins descended upon the planet, a shadowy figure with no face or identity: The Nameless Entity. The entity bestowed the planet with vitality, creating a world where diverse life forms could coexist, ushering in a new age: The Age of Genesis.

Throughout the ages, as time passed, the entity was worshipped by many who believed it to be a god. Until the entity vanished without a trace, abandoning its believers and leaving its creation behind, only three fragments of the entity, each with immense power, remained

This disruption of the world's natural balance led many who hungered for power to fight to gain authority over the world. This ignited a war between the dragons, humans, demihumans, and mythical creatures. This was known as the darkest period in history, with limited knowledge of what truly occurred. It was named: The Abyssal Age.

During this period, as an aftermath of the intense war fought by those with great power, the world underwent a drastic transformation, separating the continents and creating anomalies that defied nature. These anomalies impacted many of the known lands, but three of them, in particular, overtook entire regions, transforming them into hazardous zones.

A land consumed by pure chaos and plagued with insanity: The Land of Anarchy.

The endless depths of the abyss that's the birthplace of the most heinous monsters: The Forsaken Abyss.

A cursed land filled with horror of undying creatures: Cemetery of the Everlasting dread

The Abyssal Age was a time of relentless bloodshed and endless warfare, marked by chaos and the absence of any real order to control the world until three life forms discovered the 3 forgotten fragments left behind by the Nameless Entity. Two humans and a dragon rose to power, with the fragments ultimately becoming a demigod.

A human priest known as Elias obtained the divine fragment and was acknowledged as the Pontiff of the Sacred Light.

Acheron, a dragon referred to as The Dragonlord of Eternal Sky, acquired the fragment of the monarch.

The fragment of calamity, which was retrieved by a human traveler named Ziray, who was hailed The Ruler of The Forsaken Abyss

Driven by his lust for power, Ziray embraced his demigod abilities, ultimately creating the Land of Anarchy and the Forsaken Abyss. To end his reign of terror, Elias and Acheron allied to seal Ziray away. Elias and Acheron also ended the endless war and established the Nine Pillars of the World to maintain natural order. The Nine Pillars were the strongest life forms on the planet, each entrusted with maintaining a specific region to uphold the world's balance.

With the establishment of the Nine Pillars, different species chose to inhabit distinct regions. Humans and demi-humans took control of the land, dragons claimed the sky islands; and mythical creatures inhabited both the waters and the land.

Near the end of the Abyssal Age, a prophecy of unknown origin revealed itself, delivering a very clear message—a prophecy known by only one man, Pontiff of the sacred light Elias.

The loud sound of a door opening echoed as a young boy with dark messy hair and ember eyes stepped out. "Alan, are you reading that same book on the rooftop again?"

A boy with wavy black hair and azure eyes, excluding a regal appearance, sat cross-legged with an open book resting on his lap. Harsh winds whipped through Alan's hair as he quietly observed the nightlife of the slums from above. "This is the only quiet place I can find; why are you here, Leon?"

Without a word, Leon silently stepped beside Alan and positioned himself next to him, joining in on the view and softly speaking. "A new child is coming to our orphanage today."

Alan turned his head towards Leon in shock. "I didn't expect another unfortunate child to end up inside the slums."

Leon slowly lay down on the ground, gazing into the stars above as he spoke with no emotion. "Yeah, she is unfortunate, but she is our age so we are tasked with taking care of her."

Shortly after, Alan joined Leon, also gazing up at the endless stars in the night sky. He then asked, "What's her name?"

"Her name's Ariel."
