An awkward silence was between us, Peter's face was completely red with anger and maybe with shyness. I had a hard time believing that he-she was a girl.
Suddenly tears started to fall from her already misty eyes, I panicked and didn't know what to do and started flapping my arms like a bird to make her laugh.
It at least stopped her tears or maybe the pathetic sight of me so desperately trying to make her happy made her completely forget about crying.
The reason didn't matter, I stopped her crying came close to her and looked and inspected her face, her eyes were still misty and tear marks on her pale face made my Sadist tendency surge.
She tried to put some distance between us but I grabbed her chin and made her look down at me, she was taller than me and I barely reached her shoulder.
It wasn't that I was small or she was tall but instead, it was because she was 2-3 years older than me. The age range of our friend group is between 11-12 years with the exception of me.
The difference between their age was only several months, the most surprising thing was that according to the age difference, Peter was the oldest in our group.
In fact, now I look back at it our group has diverse and strange elements attached to every member in our group.
Jack is an Ape, Adrian is a die-hard fan mixed with being a victim of domestic violence, and at last, Peter is the girl who I have always thought to be a boy.
Even though Peter was the oldest she was not the tallest, that honour goes to Jack while Peter and Adrian are almost the same height.
It would have been better if I had the same height as Peter but sometimes fate doesn't always go your way, in fact, fate never goes my way.
Well considering in this world more mana equals being the darling of fate, I don't think being an individual with no mana would fate ever be on my side.
I wasn't jealous of her height as I was sure I would grow taller in the future and no one would look down at me to talk to me.
Talking about height made me remember why didn't jack ever tease me about my height, I mean he is not a gentleman to not do that.
The only reason I can think of is if he thinks my height is a soft spot for me or he was just afraid of getting beat up by me which I would have totally done.

She closed her eyes due to shyness, Even though she said this to me she did not move a single step away from me. It looked like she was waiting in anticipation for something.
I pulled my other hand and flicked her head while letting my hand put away from her chin.
"OUCH- IT HURTS"
She cried in pain while rubbing her forehead, I flickered her hard enough for her to learn a lesson from this and stop reading romance stories.
The reason I say this is because she has an entire collection of story books in her house, it might seem strange to have so many books in a village like this but her father is a historian who travels around everywhere.
It's said he settled here after the birth of Peter but no one knows the reason why he settled in such a barren place.

Most of all I had decided I was going to beat the crap out of Jack, it's his fault that I am so embarrassed right now. He should have told me that Peter is a girl but that Ape didn't even when he knew I thought of Peter as a boy.
That bastard was probably enjoying it, I can't beat Adrian because of the awkward relationship I have with the siblings so I am going to beat Jack twice as much.
"If you are really a girl then why do the the other children call you sis-"
"Stop calling me by that name, I hate it. I don't know why they do it but probably because they are idiots like you and don't have any manners."
She cut me off with an angry look and said All the nonsense about me being an idiot, I would tell you how smart I am but you won't believe me even If I tell you.
And why did your eyes look sideways with guilt when saying you don't know the reason, you probably know the reason but just don't want to tell me.
I raised both my hands and put her in a light chokehold, she tried resisting by trying to bite me but I was not a novice to fall for it.

She looked like she had given up and let her body rest on mine while being in a choke, But does she seriously think I would let her go after what she did just because she is a girl?
"Oh please don't be so naive, you thought I would let you go after you bit me and scarred my pretty hand"
My hand had already healed and there was no scar so I was talking nonsense, But that is not a reason to let her go.
I give equal punches and kicks to girls just like a boy, In a manner I am a true gender advocate.
The only one I am a gentleman towards is someone stronger than me.
