Zeki observed the devastated battlefield around him, still attentive to the lifeless body of the Three-Eyed Monster. He was now going after the Chief Cobra. Suddenly, the Chief Cobra caught his attention, concentrating energy into the form of a giant mouth aimed directly at Zeki.
Chief Cobra (thinking): It's no longer worth continuing here.
Chief Cobra (in a hissing and predatory tone): "This is the end, human. This will surely put an end to this fight."
The energy mouth was launched at high speed toward Zeki. He quickly raised a psychic barrier to defend himself. The impact was tremendous, and even with his barrier, Zeki was thrown far, landing heavily on the ground.
Chief Cobra, realizing her attack had not been completely effective, saw that continuing the fight was too risky. She decided the best course of action was to retreat and report the incident.
Chief Cobra (hissing urgently): "I better retreat, I hope the Spider is still alive. I can't afford to die here."
She slid quickly to find the Spider, who was still fighting against Isadora. The Spider was surprised by the sudden order to retreat.
Spider (impulsively and underestimating the humans): "Why are we running? Where's the Three-Eyed Monster?"
Isadora (worried): "Wait, if you're here, then what happened to Zeki? Could he have been defeated?"
Chief Cobra (concerned): "Spider, this battle is no longer worth it. The human we were facing was stronger than I thought. It won't take long for them to find us."
Isadora runs towards them.
Isadora (furious): "Do you think I'll let you escape?" (special technique: maximum enhancement)
Isadora, at high speed, focused a punch, impressing the Chief Cobra with her speed.
Chief Cobra (worried): "I don't have time for this."
Chief Cobra released poisonous gas towards them, causing Isadora to retreat, but she held her breath and charged forward.
Chief Cobra (firm and pragmatic): "We lost the Three-Eyed Monster. The risk is too high. Let's find the Queen and retreat."
Reluctantly, the Spider followed the order, casting a last look of disdain at Isadora.
As the Cobra burrowed underground along with the Spider, Isadora shouted in frustration.
Isadora (furious): "Damn it."
Isadora couldn't land the punch, allowing them to escape. She was left angry.
Isadora (angry): "Damn it, if I jump, I'll be at a disadvantage underground. I'd better go after Zeki."
The battlefield was in ruins, covered in debris and dust from the explosion caused by the Chief Cobra. Zeki, not too injured, stood up without much difficulty. His shirt was torn, but he maintained his calm demeanor. Isadora, determined and frustrated, moved towards him, ignoring the rubble and destruction around.
Isadora (irritated and defiant): "Zeki, what happened? I almost thought you had lost!"
She approached Zeki, who was still standing, his shirt torn and dirty with dust. His expression was a mix of exhaustion and focus, but he knew he needed to stay calm.
Zeki (calm and resolute): "I thought my psychic force field would hold. I guess I underestimated them."
Isadora (angry and arrogant): "This is embarrassing. We should have brought Gustavo and Bia. You know this is shameful. The situation is terrible!"
Zeki (looking at the situation around and adjusting his torn shirt): "The situation is not ideal, but panicking won't help. I'll make a report to the guild about what happened."
He observed her with a serious look, trying to convey the importance of staying calm amidst the chaos. Isadora, despite her arrogant attitude, knew there was truth in Zeki's words. She crossed her arms, clearly annoyed, but also recognizing the need to act smartly.
Isadora (defiant, but starting to understand): "You're right, Zeki. But next time, take things more seriously."
Zeki (analyzing the situation): "I understand, but in a way, this was good. The Chief Cobra and the Spider... The Cobra made a hole in the ground leading somewhere. I think it's better for us to leave. Let's leave the details to the guild."
Isadora (resigned, but with a tone of determination): "So you had a plan B. Smart. Well, I'm going now, or I'll end up smelling bad."
After the exhausting battle, Zeki and Isadora arrived at the guild, with Zeki carrying a substantial fragment of the Three-Eyed Monster. The guild entrance was busy, but their presence immediately drew the attention of the members.
Curious looks fixed on the piece of the monster, which was covered in dirt and battle remnants. The guild members began to murmur, some showing astonishment and others skepticism.
Guild Member 1 (surprised): "Is this... a real monster fragment? Look at the size of it!"
Guild Member 2 (incredulous): "What the heck is this? Is this really a monster?"
The guild receptionist, a middle-aged woman with a dignified posture and sharp eyes, noticed the commotion. She quickly approached, her face changing from curiosity to genuine shock upon seeing the monster fragment.
Guild Receptionist (shocked and incredulous): "Excuse me, what is this thing? A monster? Where did you find it?"
Zeki, still breathless, placed the fragment on the ground with visible effort. He straightened up and prepared to report what had happened. Zeki asked to go to a more private place and then began to explain.
Zeki (calm, but exhausted): "You know about the event of the worm that invaded part of the city earlier. Well, this monster here was involved, but it's dead now, as you can see."
Isadora (firmly): "But the other two escaped and are on the loose. I suggest you alert the hunters to stay alert. One looks like a count, and the other is a stinking queen."
The guild receptionist approached one of the monster fragments with an expression of amazement, examining it more closely. Her posture shifted from surprise to concern.
Guild Receptionist (thoughtful): "Understood, I will inform the superiors immediately. But did you find them, or were you attacked?"
Zeki (determined): "We found them. I already suspected there were other monsters because of the worm incident."
Guild Receptionist (surprised): "So you were at the scene that day. That really caught everyone off guard since there weren't many hunters that day. But wait, you say you already suspected it. You should have informed the guild or called for help. Why didn't you?"
Zeki (calm): "Well, if any hunter messed up, they would become more cautious, making it harder to find them. Besides, I already requested help from the guild once when fighting a gang leader, but no one responded."
Guild Receptionist (surprised): "I'm sorry for what happened, but it's necessary that you alert the guild if you encounter these monsters again. Understood?"
