Stevan's office, an elegant and meticulously arranged space, featured a large dark wooden desk and soft lighting that enhanced the atmosphere of control and order. Stevan sat behind the desk, his posture relaxed, but his eyes gleamed with a calculative attention. A guild employee stood before him, holding a notepad.
Stevan (with a calm and interested tone): "I heard about recent incidents involving monsters and a breach at the wall. Can you update me on what happened?"
Employee (consulting his notes): "Yes, Mr. Stevan. There was a significant breach at the wall, and one of the monsters was defeated. However, two monsters managed to escape. They were described as a queen and a counter. The incident was quite complex, and according to reports, some hunters participated in the battle."
Stevan (with a curious look): "Interesting. And who are the hunters involved? What do we know about them?"
Employee (pausing): "The hunters involved are Zeki and Isadora. Zeki is a Class D, rank 1, and Isadora is a Class D, rank 2. Both faced the monsters but unfortunately couldn't prevent the escape of the two remaining. Additionally, these hunters were involved in the defeat of a gang, along with two other Class D hunters, Gustavo and Bia, who participated in a parallel mission where they defeated a gang led by Chapo."
Stevan (stroking his chin, intrigued): "Zeki, Bia, Isadora, and Gustavo managed to defeat those criminals on their own?"
Employee (confirming): "Not exactly. Rosa Clure appeared to help and praised the performance of the four and the other hunters. She highlighted that they were crucial in the gang's defeat. It seems there was good collaboration among them."
Stevan (thoughtful): "So, we have a situation where Zeki and Isadora, despite their lower ranking, demonstrated effectiveness in another important mission. That's quite significant."
Employee (with an expectant tone): "Yes, sir. This information could indicate how our hunters are performing in different types of situations and might also impact how we allocate resources and plan for the future."
Stevan: "Certainly. The dynamics between the hunters and the results obtained can offer valuable insights. Thank you for the update. Make sure to keep me informed of any additional developments and continue monitoring the situation."
Employee (nodding): "Understood, Mr. Stevan. I'll keep you informed."
Stevan watched the employee leave the office, his gaze reflecting a strategic glint. He leaned back in his chair, beginning to ponder the implications of the received information and how he could use these new insights to enhance his strategies and future goals.
Zeki, Isadora, Bia, and Gustavo arrived at the guild entrance, still dirty and exhausted from the battle. They exchanged curious and slightly worried looks upon receiving an unexpected summons.
Zeki (calm): "Looks like we're being called for a meeting. Let's see what they want with us."
Isadora (adjusting her hair confidently): "I just hope it's not to reprimand us for not taking out all the monsters. If that's the case, I'll be pissed."
Bia (excited, winking at Isadora): "Calm down, Isadora. It might just be an update or something simple. Besides, Chapo was a bad guy, but he wasn't ugly enough to be called a monster!"
Gustavo (observing with disdain): "Hey, look at the angry face. Relax, it's probably just a notice. And Zeki, see how you're always called for these things, but Isadora, what's this talk about a monster?"
Zeki (calm): "I'll explain later."
They approached the guild receptionist, who greeted them with a look of curiosity and a bit of concern.
Receptionist (in a formal tone): "Excuse me, you must be Zeki, Bia, Gustavo, and Isadora. You've been called to Stevan's office. He's waiting for you."
Bia (joking): "Wow, we're going to talk to someone important. I smell a raise. Let's go, folks, see what he wants. Hope he doesn't expect a detailed report on the battle against Chapo."
Gustavo (grinning): "Or else he'll have to endure our reputation as problematic hunters. Let's see how it goes."
Isadora (with a determined expression): "Let's go. And Gustavo, don't talk nonsense. If it's the Stevan I think it is, you better watch your language."
The four friends headed towards Stevan's office, discussing and joking as they walked. The tension from the battle seemed slightly eased by their camaraderie.
Stevan was seated behind his desk, observing the four with an appraising look as they entered the office. He raised an eyebrow, noting their presence and the relaxed spirit, contrasting with the formal environment.
Stevan (with a calculative smile): "Good to see you. Take a seat. I have some questions to discuss about your recent mission."
Zeki (calmly taking a seat): "We're here. What would you like to discuss?"
Isadora (confident, crossing her arms): "Let's get straight to the point. If it's about the mission, we can explain everything."
Bia (excited, with a smile): "Such a fancy place."
Gustavo (with a relaxed expression): "Yeah, go ahead, boss. What's up for us?"
Stevan (analyzing them with a keen eye): "I've received reports about the battle against some monsters and the gang you faced. The details are a bit confusing, and I'd like to hear your version."
Stevan leaned back in his chair, watching the four with interest. He was clearly curious about their stories and wanted to understand better the performance and dynamics involved in the recent battles.
