Chapter 5 - More Friends( Not good with Titles)

The door to the classroom stood ajar as the teacher entered, her gaze sweeping across the room to meticulously memorize each student's face. Once inside, she positioned herself at the front of the class, ready to address her new students.

She was strikingly attractive, her long, silky emerald hair cascading around her shoulders. Her eyes were an unusual shade of purple, framed by glasses that added to her allure. Dressed in a form-fitting black sheath dress, it accentuated her curvy figure with a subtle elegance.

"Good morning, class. I'm Ms. Monroe. I'll be your form teacher for the next three years," Ms. Monroe greeted as she entered the classroom, her voice warm and welcoming. "I'm excited to get to know you all since we'll basically be a family with how long I'm going to know you all. Firstly, I'd like everyone to introduce themselves. I'll try to remember each of your names as quickly as possible. So, let's begin with that first row."

The students proceeded to introduce themselves one by one, each sharing their name and a brief tidbit about themselves. Travis was the last to speak, offering his introduction with a touch of nervousness.

After everyone had introduced themselves, Ms. Monroe smiled warmly and rose from her seat. "Okay, that went well. For now, you won't be doing anything. We're currently still setting up your timetable, so for today you all will be staying in this class. Of course, when it's lunchtime, you may leave and explore the school to get an understanding of the area. But when the bell rings signaling the end of lunch, I need you all back here, okay? I'll leave the class for now; please be mindful of your surroundings. Some students have already started learning."

After Ms. Monroe gathered her belongings and left the class, the students gradually began to chat with their friends. Some moved to sit with familiar faces while others stayed put. Travis reclined in his seat, gazing up at the ceiling lost in thought.

Lauren, seated next to him, swiveled her chair to face Travis. He turned towards her with a smile, glad for the company.

"So, which school did you attend before this?" Travis inquired, breaking the silence between them.

Lauren leaned in slightly, her curiosity piqued by Travis's question. "I went to Franklin Secondary before this. It was okay, I guess. How about you?"

Travis shifted in his seat, recalling his previous school experiences. "I was at Lincoln Prep. It was pretty strict, but the teachers were decent. Why did you switch schools?"

Lauren shrugged, a hint of uncertainty in her expression. "My family moved here from California , so I had to change schools. It's been... different."

Travis nodded understandingly. "Yeah, moving can be tough. But hey, at least you're here now. What do you think of this school so far?"

"It seems nice," Lauren replied, glancing around the classroom. "The teachers seem cool, and the campus is bigger than what I'm used to. What about you?"

Travis chuckled softly. "It's not bad. Ms. Monroe seems chill. I'm just hoping to make some friends here, you know?"

Lauren smiled warmly. "I think you'll do just fine, Travis. You seem friendly enough."

They continued chatting, gradually finding common ground and sharing bits about themselves. As the conversation flowed, a sense of ease settled between them, paving the way for a budding friendship in their new school environment.

Travis blinked in surprise as the girl in front of him suddenly spun around, her chair pivoting to face him and Lauren. Her bright smile and eager demeanor caught him off guard.

"Hey, would you mind if I joined you guys?" she asked cheerfully, her giddy expression adding to her approachable and friendly vibe.

The girl had long, light blonde hair that cascaded down her shoulders and light blue eyes that seemed to sparkle with enthusiasm. Her easygoing manner and warm demeanor made it clear she was eager to make new friends.

Travis exchanged a quick glance with Lauren before smiling back at the girl. "Sure, go ahead! I'm Travis, and this is Lauren," he introduced, gesturing to each of them in turn.

"I'm Ashley" the girl replied, extending her hand to shake theirs. "Nice to meet you both! So, what were you guys talking about?"

"Just random things. Nothing concrete honestly. Would you like to introduce yourself properly?" Lauren replied to Ashley, inviting her to share more about herself.

"Umm, sure, why not. Ashley Delaney. I'm pretty bored, so I decided, why not make friends with you guys. I'm also new to this place like you," Ashley said with a friendly smile, glancing between Travis and Lauren.

"Where are you from?" Lauren asked, curious about Ashley's background.

"New York. We moved here about a month ago. It's been nice living here. I like how open the area is, unlike New York where everything is stuffed in a single area," Ashley explained.

"Oh wow, I've always wanted to go there. Maybe you can give us a tour when we go," Travis suggested eagerly.

"Sure, I practically know that place like the back of my hand, since I was born there and stuff," Ashley replied with a chuckle, already feeling a sense of camaraderie with her new classmates.

[ A/N : By the way, Travis lives in a makeshift state in America. I don't know anything about America so I made myself a state. ]

"So, what do you guys do in your free time?" Travis asked, steering the conversation towards shared interests.

"Anime," Lauren and Ashley both replied almost simultaneously, exchanging surprised glances that quickly turned into smiles.

"I guess we all have something in common," Travis remarked, joining in their mutual enthusiasm for anime.

Lauren and Ashley nodded in agreement, their smiles widening. It was a simple connection but one that sparked a sense of camaraderie among them.

"I'm gonna enjoy life here," Travis thought to himself, feeling optimistic about the friendships and experiences awaiting him at the new school.

[ Bro don't forget to get bitches!!!]

' Shut the fuck bro. Imma do my open thing '

The trio continued chatting animatedly about their favorite anime shows, quickly discovering more shared interests and similarities.

"Oh, have you guys seen 'My Hero Academia'?" Ashley asked, her eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Yeah, it's one of my favorites!" Lauren replied enthusiastically. "I love how they explore the dynamics between heroes and villains."

Travis nodded in agreement. "And the character development is awesome. I'm a big fan of Deku's journey."

' I never liked that show, but I can't tell the hoes that. I means it's not bad, I'd rather read the Manga since the anime is just not it. ' He thought.

As they delved deeper into their discussion, they found themselves not only bonding over anime but also discovering other common interests, from favorite genres to similar hobbies outside of school.

"I can't believe we all like 'Attack on Titan' too!" Ashley exclaimed, amazed by their shared taste.

"It's such an intense series," Travis commented. "The plot twists keep you on the edge of your seat."

Their conversation flowed effortlessly, each of them contributing their own insights and recommendations. By the end of the discussion, they felt a strong sense of connection and excitement about the potential for their newfound friendship to grow.
