The day went on smoothly. The trio sat together, enjoying each other's company as they shared jokes and stories while waiting for the bell that signaled the end of the school day. The room was filled with their laughter and easy conversation.
As the bell was about to ring, their form teacher, Ms. Monroe, walked in with a stack of papers in her hand.
"Hey, class," she began, her voice carrying over the hum of the room. "Here are your timetables. I expect you all to have memorized them by next week. I don't want to hear any complaints from teachers about you getting lost, okay? Also, a reminder that tomorrow we'll be conducting voting for our male and female class reps. We'll discuss everything else tomorrow."
The bell rang, signaling the end of the day. Ms. Monroe smiled warmly and added, "You are all dismissed. I can't wait to see you all tomorrow."
With that, she left the room, her footsteps fading down the hallway. Travis stretched, his muscles feeling tight after sitting for so long. He glanced at the clock, noting how late it was.
'I'm so freakin' hungry. I should buy something at the shop before I leave,' he thought, feeling his stomach growl in agreement.
"Alright, I'll see y'all tomorrow. My sister is probably waiting for me already," Travis said as he gathered his things.
Ashley stood up and gave Travis a warm hug, saying goodbye. Lauren, though a bit shy, followed suit, giving him a quick hug as well. Travis smiled, appreciating the gesture, and waved at them as he headed out.
'Need to hurry,' he reminded himself, picking up his pace as he made his way towards the shop.
He bought a few snacks and then began sprinting outside as quickly as possible.
"Man, why am I so active today? I feel like I could run a marathon," he thought, laughing at his own energy.
[That's due to the system, thank you very much. Since you're kinda weak, the system boosted your body, making it ten times stronger and faster. You should check your pecs when you get home.]
"For real? Wow, that's nice of the system," Travis replied, impressed.
[Who's this system you're talking about? You should be thanking me, you buffoon!!]
"I'd like to meet this system and tell him how grateful I am," Travis thought, still chuckling.
The further enraged Eros started screaming like a madman. Meanwhile, Travis laughed internally, picturing Eros's exasperated face.
At the gate, Travis saw his sister Samantha standing there, her arms crossed and her foot tapping impatiently. He approached her, stopping right beside her with a casual, "Yo," as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
Samantha turned to him, looking up with a slightly annoyed expression. "You're here. Let's go. Also, get your hand off me. I don't want people assuming stuff," she said, pulling his arm away with a swift motion.
Travis's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. 'Why is she angry?' he thought, trying to piece together what might be bothering her.
"Is everything alright?" he asked as he fell into step beside her.
Samantha let out an exasperated sigh, her frustration evident. "It's nothing. Now hurry up and let's go. I need a shower."
Travis noted her irritation and thought, 'Damn, whatever she's angry about must be serious. Well, that doesn't matter, as long as she doesn't dump it all on me.'
They walked in silence for a moment, Travis glanced at Samantha who seemed lost in thought. As they reached the corner of the street, he caught sight of a few curious glances from passersby, which made him chuckle inwardly, remembering Samantha's comment about assumptions.
They arrived home, where their mother, Jane, greeted them with a warm smile. Despite her frustration, Samantha couldn't resist accepting a hug from their mother before heading upstairs to her room.
"What happened to her?" Jane asked, her brow furrowed with concern.
"Not sure. But hey, she's always angry, so it's not surprising," Travis replied, shrugging as he followed her into the kitchen.
"I guess. You should check up on her," Jane suggested, handing Travis a snack.
"What? I don't want to be a punching bag. Remember what she did last time?" Travis said, wincing at the memory of Samantha's previous outburst.
Jane nodded sympathetically. "But she's your sister, so you should help her. I doubt she'll tell me anything. So, you should talk to her, okay?"
"Okay, I'll do it. You owe me cookies, though," Travis said, trying to lighten the mood. "By the way, I made some friends."
"Oh, that's nice. Do they happen to be girls?" Jane asked with a curious tone.
Travis stared at her in shock. "How do you know?"
Jane raised an eyebrow and smirked. "You practically smell like them. If anything ever happens, wear protection."
Travis's face turned cringe, and he didn't know how to respond. He mumbled a quick, "Okay," and hurriedly ran upstairs to his room.
Once inside, Travis sniffed his pullover and detected a faint but unmistakable sweet strawberry aroma, which made him shiver.
' Hmm I wonder why I didn't notice it before. Then again mom has always been very observant ' he thought.
He took off his uniform and neatly placed it in his closet. Standing in front of the mirror, he was stunned by his reflection.
His body was more defined than before, with muscles in all the right places, giving him the appearance of someone who worked out daily. His shoulders were broader, his abs more pronounced, and his arms more sculpted.
Staring at his well-toned physique, he couldn't help but smile happily, marveling at the transformation.
' This will definitely attract all the hoes.'
He changed into something comfortable and turned on his computer, ready to dive into some gaming.
'Wait, Mom wanted me to talk to Samantha,' he remembered with a sigh.
Reluctantly, Travis walked out of his room and knocked on Samantha's door. When there was no response, he pushed the door open slightly, ready to quickly close it if necessary.
He peered inside and saw that the room was empty. Looking around, he was puzzled about where she might be.
'She's probably downstairs. I mean, being angry doesn't mean you can't eat,I'll wait for her here' he thought and closed the door.
As Samantha walked out of the bathroom, she carefully dried herself off with a soft towel and gathered her toiletries. With a sense of determination, she opened the door and stepped into the room.
Upon entering, Samantha noticed Travis sitting on her chair, his eyes wide with surprise as he stared at her. Feeling a rush of embarrassment, she quickly looked down and realized that her breasts were still exposed. A deep blush spread across her cheeks as she hurried over to Travis, a mix of anger and frustration in her tone as she called out his name sharply.
"Travis!"
Followed by a loud cracked shouted from Travis.
Downstairs Jane prayed for Travis hearing the loud shout.' Maybe I should have sent Katelyn when she came home' she thought.
