Chapter 10 - Lucky Pervert

He hurriedly and carefully grabbed Samantha, stopping her from attacking with a firm grip. Wrapping his arms securely around her, making sure she couldn't budge an inch. To be prepared for any sudden movements, he also positioned his lower body to the side to avoid a potential kick in a vulnerable area. While holding her, he could feel the pressure of her perky breast against his chest, a sensation that unexpectedly found its way into his thoughts.

'Damn, that feels nice. Wait, isn't my ability on?' he wondered.

As the physical contact between Travis and Samantha intensified, she experienced a small, unexpected jolt of pleasure. Confusion and discomfort washed over her, unsure of the source of such a sensation.

'It can't be that I'm attracted to Travis, right?' Samantha pondered.

Observing Samantha's body, now a deep shade of red surrounded her ,Travis slowly released his hold on her and cautiously took a step back.

" Listen I'm Sorry. I didn't know you were taking a bath okay. Mom asked me to come check on you. So please calm down okay " He quickly explained.

Samantha was jolted back to reality as Travis knocked on her door. She quickly grabbed a towel to cover herself and called out, "Leave and come back later. I need to get dressed."

"Okay," Travis said, trying to sound casual. "Just to make sure, please come to my room later. Alright?"

To his surprise, Samantha nodded in agreement. He stepped out, relieved not to have annoyed her further, and closed the door behind him.

'Man, that could have gone so badly. I'm lucky to have walked out unscathed. I better get something to eat to calm myself down,' he thought, heading downstairs.

As he walked past the dining room, Jane looked up from her book. "Did it go well?"

"Yeah, somehow. She said she wanted to talk later since she just took a bath," Travis replied, heading for the kitchen.

"Wow, after what I just heard, that's nice. So come and tell me how your day was, actually," Jane said, smiling warmly.

"Alright, let me make some food first," Travis replied, heading to the kitchen. He quickly prepared a couple of sandwiches and grabbed some drinks before rejoining Jane in the living room.

He sat down next to her, setting the food on the table. "So, my day was pretty good. I met Ashley and Lauren, and we got along really well. We talked a lot about school and shared some laughs."

Jane nodded, her expression interested. "That sounds great. What are they like?"

"Ashley is really funny and has a great sense of humor," Travis said, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Lauren is super friendly and easy to talk to. It's been nice making new friends."

Jane smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. It sounds like you're settling in well."

Travis nodded. "Yeah, it's been good. By the way, where's Dad? I haven't seen him around."

Jane's smile faded slightly. "Oh, he went out to get some groceries for us. He should be back soon."

Travis nodded in understanding. " That's nice. I guess he wants to do something for us before he goes to Spain "

Jane's expression was heavy with emotion. "You know, I'm really struggling with the fact that Abraham is leaving for Spain. It feels like he's abandoning us, and I'm left here trying to manage everything alone."

Travis looked at her with understanding. "I'm sorry you're feeling this way. It must be really tough. But I'm sure he has a valid reason why he's going. Did he tell you?"

"No, he just keeps telling me it'll help us grow to leave each other gain. I don't know what that even means. " Tears welling up. " I just don't know how I'm going to cope without him around."

Travis reached out, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I want you to know that you're not alone in this. If you need anything, whether it's help with things around the house or just someone to talk to, I'm here for you."

Jane's eyes met his with gratitude. "Thank you, Travis. That means a lot to me."

"Of course," Travis replied sincerely. "We're family, and we'll get through this together."

Jane managed a small, appreciative smile. "I'm really glad to hear that. It helps to know you're here for me."

After that, they continued talking about Travis's new friends. Once he had finished eating, Travis headed upstairs to his room. Upon entering, he was surprised to find Samantha already sitting on his bed.

"Oh, you're already here," he said as he walked over to his chair. He adjusted it to be closer to Samantha and then sat down, facing her.

"Okay, I'm about to tell you something, so you better listen up," Samantha said, her frustration evident. She took a deep breath and sat down on the edge of his bed, glaring at the floor. "There's this new guy in my class, and he's been a total pain. From the moment he walked in, he's been hitting on me non-stop. I've rejected him every time, but he just won't take a hint. It's like he's determined to make my life miserable."

Travis listened attentively, nodding sympathetically. "I can see why you'd be so upset."

"Exactly!" Samantha continued, her voice rising with exasperation. "So, I finally lost it and told him you and I were dating. I figured that would make him stop bothering me. That's why I waited for you after school."

Travis's eyes widened in shock. "What?! How did that happen? I think you might have skipped a chapter here."

Samantha looked a bit embarrassed but remained resolute. "I just needed him to back off, and it seemed like the easiest solution at the time. I wasn't planning on telling you; I hoped he'd see you and leave me alone."

Travis's mind raced. 'Damn, that means she would have left without me,' he thought, feeling a mix of surprise and curiosity.

"Okay, so when were you planning on telling me about this if I hadn't asked?" Travis asked, trying to process the situation.

Samantha sighed, crossing her arms. "Honestly, I wasn't going to tell you. I figured if he saw you with me, he'd get the message and stop bothering me. I didn't think it was that big of a deal."

"Wow, that's really messed up," Travis said, a bit hurt. "So should I start acting like your boyfriend now?"

"No, not unless I specifically ask you to," Samantha replied, standing up and moving toward the door. Her tone was firm but carried a hint of unease. "And forget what happened earlier."

She walked out of the room, leaving Travis alone. He stared at the ceiling, feeling a mix of confusion and amusement. 'Wow, that's so cliché. I wonder how this will all turn out,' he thought, contemplating the unexpected turn of events.

He began playing some games, not bothering himself with whatever had just happened.
