Davian and Roseanne rejoined the party after their separate conversations with the king and Prince Xavier. Roseanne still felt the tension from before, but having Davian by her side made her feel secure. His hand was a steadying presence on her lower back, guiding her as they moved through the lively crowd. The grand hall was still buzzing with conversation, laughter, and the clinking of glasses. Roseanne felt a little overwhelmed by it all, but she managed to keep her nerves in check.
They found a table with a few other Alphas and Lunas from neighboring packs. Roseanne recognized some of their faces from earlier introductions but couldn't quite remember all their names. Davian, ever the composed leader, exchanged greetings with the others, his deep voice effortlessly commanding the room. The Alphas nodded with respect, acknowledging his authority without question.
