Chapter 27 - Chapter 26 - Philippine Independence Day!

Roxas' POV

Today is now June 12.

Yay! Today is Philippine Independence Day!

I am so proud of my country.

So, this morning, I went downstairs and turned on the TV, before watching a video of a data video with some awesome music playing in the background using the TV's YouTube feature. And then, I held my Filipino flag high and waved it when my country's flag appeared in the data video.

 "Yay!" I said. "Tayo!"

That means we in Tagalog.

Later at breakfast, Shuto and Minato told me that strangely enough, our school recognized Philippine Independence Day and made it as a school-mandated holiday for us. That means we won't attend class today!

And it seems that my friends knew that holiday as well.

"Man, that was good of them," I commented while eating my Japanese omelet and rice meal.

"Yup, it was!" Minato responded back with positivity.

Third person POV

Within Roxas, Anko was very happy to celebrate Philippine Independence Day with Roxas. After breakfast, Roxas said to his friends that he will be going out to do stuff and such like buying essential things.

"Okay," Koyuki replied in agreement. "Good luck out there."

"Yeah, see you later!" Shuto added positively.

With that, Roxas, now dressed in his normal, red t-shirt and brown pants for outdoor traveling, left the house with his shoulder, messenger bag.

But along the way, the hologram screen appeared before him and gave him a congratulatory message for his nationality and the Philippine Independence Day, before offering him something that is only available today: a special, short-sleeved, buttoned-up shirt in red, black, blue, yellow, and white. That shirt had a white necktie and a Filipino flag on the right side in the front. Roxas was shocked and surprised to see that and accepted it because he wanted it on such a special occasion. So, his red t-shirt was changed into that new and special buttoned-up shirt with necktie, much to his happiness, joy, and enthusiasm.
