Chapter 5 - The Sleep

"A Spectator's promise can last forever; even at the end of the story, their pledge will never be broken."

Headache

Why?

"Stupid senju"

"Emo"

"Idiot"

"Bastard!"

Because of these two! Even a deaf person would go crazy with their annoying banter!

"Stop! If you two don't stop at all, you will see yourself buried six feet under!" I threaten them. "Now, may I have your attention, please!?"

"Hn"

"Hmph"

They are being childish! As far as I remember, I was the youngest of the three of us.

Oh

Maybe not?

"Anyways, sorry to say this, Izuna, but you're not allowed to go back to your clan."

"Give me a reason," Izuna insists as I look at Izuna's 'new' pairs of eyes.

"Your fate has already come to an end. You can't disrupt the narration of this world. I'm sorry," I replied as we held eye contact for minutes.

Izuna is the first one to look away, "Hn."

The rise of the strongest and the first village of all time

Hashirama Senju became the first hostage.

And after that, the defection of Madara Uchiha.

All of that, from beginning to end, I am the witness.

*****

Watching the ongoing battle between Hashirama and Madara. Each of them shows their own unique mastery and powerful techniques, one after another.

Their wills clash in a battle of death.

The battlefield raged with fierce flames.

The towering build of Kyuubi coated with susano versus the colossal wood golem with thousand hands collide, and as the battle of two demi-god Shinobi continues, their wills constantly clash.

"Ma. Da. Ra!"

"Ha. Shi. Ra. Ma!"

The battles sole purpose is to protect their own will; no right or wrong, only the testament can prove their dedication. The last person standing wins.

"..."

"..."

"Don't you have anything to say? Itama-nii, Izu-nii?" Aiko questions the two quiet young men.

"..."

"Hn..."

"Watch them, observe them; the outcome of this battle is the end and the new beginning."

"Hashirama-nii change so much," Itama answers.

"Aniki, aniki changed." Izuna follows shortly. "Who will you save this time?" And who will die? Is Bieng left unsaid?

"Who do you think I am? A judge? No. I'm merely observing."

"Then what are we doing here?" Itama chimes in.

"A promise" Akio said as he stood up.

"I will protect our village, No... my village. No matter what, I will not forgive anyone who threatens this village, be they a friend... sibling... or even my own child."

"Ultimately... it shall lead the village to darkness," was Madara's last word before he lost his life.

And that's the end of their battle.

Or is it?

"They're gone," Aiko said as he stood up, "let's go," and he vanished. Soon,  the two young men followed.

They appear in the middle field of barren land, which in the near future will be called the valley of the end.

"Aiko, what are we doing here?" Izuna asks as he gazes at barren land.

What's up to people this day, asking from left to right?

"I'm here to honor a promise..."

Silence

Izuna and Itama knew something would happen. In every part of their cell, they would not like it.

"Can you two keep your distance a bit?"

"Why? Is saving humans not enough? Why did you include the tailed beast? Are you an idiot? What if you did manage to save them, but the cost is your life? Aiko, think properly!" Izuna demanded.

"Izu-nii, I'm a stubborn idiot; I know and you know it." Aiko just merely smiled.

Izuna knows that; Itama knows that, so Aiko himself knows; there is no point in denying it.

"Itama!" Izuna called Itama to help him convince Aiko to abandon his plan, but Itama just merely shakes his head.

"Let's go, Izuna," Itama said while dragging the Uchiha away. "He said it himself; he's a stubborn idiot," he added.

Aiko watched; he just watched.

A lone human stands alone in the barren land, and soon a swarm of white butterflies appears, one by one, encircling the young man as the center

Clasping his hands together, a serene aura surged out from him as a center, creating a white spiral with the butterflies as a tempest

"Divine Art: Reverse Fallacy" the young lad named Aiko Tenshi utters with great reverence.

For the first time since coming to this world, Aiko has used a proper and complete technique. This technique's sole purpose is to counter the natural order of this world, to twist the law, to create chaos, and to bring peace.

For one second, the world stopped.

For that one second, the spectator became the dictator.

For that one second, he fulfilled his promise.

After a one second, Aiko Tenshi disappeared from this world.

And he fell asleep.
