Chapter 7 - The Plead

"A Spectator knows the story, a Spectator knows destiny of others, and still a spectator oblivious to try their own fate"

Everything was dark.

So peaceful

"Wake up, little bro."

...I want to sleep.

"Not yet"

Why?

"Secret"

"Wake up," a new voice

That sounds familiar.

Groggily, Aiko opens his eyes only to see another Aiko.

Quickly, he shuts his eyes. "What kind of hallucination is it?" He asks himself in worry. "Maybe it's the side effect of using the divine art."

"Wow, you're not even trying to hide your thoughts,"  Aiko in front of him said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Is this real?" Slowly, Aiko opens his eyes.

"100 percent real!" Aiko said with amusement, surely enjoying his misery.

"Did my technique cause this?"

"Nope" Aiko once again answered with a chuckle

"Then..." What the hell is this!?

"You are me; I am you; we are one."

"Split personality?" Aiko asked with hesitation.

Crossing his arms, "Wrong," Aiko answered, "I'm the humanity of Aiko Tenshi, to be precise, the emotions with some memories attached."

Huh?

"So I'm not complete?"

"Yes, the moment you arrived here in the Naruto universe, you unknownly sealed some of your emotions and memories."

"Why?"

"You will know once we fuse, and once you reclaim your missing memory, you will know."

"What will happen to you?" Aiko asks, but both of them already know the answer.

Aiko smiles slightly. "Cares to give me a hug? A final hug? Please?"

Aiko did not think that, as he gave Aiko the hug he needed, maybe he thought it was just a simple hug.

But once they embrace each other, Aiko suddenly falls asleep.

"Wishing you success and happiness in your future, Aiko Tenshi."

The body of Aiko Tenshi slowly shatters, and the fragments that contain memories and emotions slowly begin to fuse with Aiko.

Like a piece returning to where it should be

"Brother!" Aiko called as he ran to the person sitting on the bench. "Why didn't you tell me you were visiting?" He complained and sat down next to his brother.

"To surprise you, can't I visit my dear little brother?" He said while giving Aiko something "here."

Picking up the things his brother was giving him, he slowly looked at them, a 'Tomoe keychain'

"I'm planning to give it to you last weekend, but there was a sudden emergency at the company, so I kind of forgot, so do you like it?"

A audible 'yes' "it's beautiful."

"It reminds me of the Naruto anime that you are addicted to" his brother said with a chuckle

"Of course who would not? It's a wonderful anime and kind of sad," Aiko said while reminiscing about his favorite anime.

"Let's go, little brother."

"Where to?"

"To eat"

While walking on the side of the road, trying to catch up with each other since they haven't seen each other face-to-face for at least 2 months.

"Mom and dad miss you," his brother said.

"I message them every day, tough?" Aiko mutters back, tilting her head a little.

Looking at his brother's cute action, he can't stop his hand. He ruffles his little brother's head. "It's different; they want to see you; they miss you."

"Okay, stop it, I'm not a kid anymore!" Aiko glares at his brother with annoyance for messing his hair. "I know, I'm planning to stay with them when the semester ends."

"Good, maybe family bonding will do; where do you want?"

"Japan?"

"Okay, I promise."

A noise attracted their attention.

They see a teenage boy cornering a kid with a small knife.

"Hey, stop it, let the kid go," his brother dashes to protect the kid while following him. "Robbery in broad daylight, you have some guts."

"Let go of the knife; we can talk, so there is no need to use violence," Aiko said with a soft voice, trying to pacify the teenager.

The teenager hesitated for a second but still chose to firmly hold the small knife. "You are noisy!"

The teenager gritted his teeth and rushed at us; this happened quickly. He saw his brother, who shielded him from the approaching teenager, but now he was the one stabbed near his kidney.

In the blink of an eye, his brother was now lying in his own blood. The crowd regained their composure as they quickly immobilized the teenager.

Falling to his knees, Aiko tried to stop the bleeding, tried to prevent the blood from gushing out, and he tried even though in the back of his mind, telling him that it's useless, but still he tried, he denies, he...

"Akio..." His brother called out, snapping him out of a panic attack.

"Brother, don't close your eyes; the ambulance is coming; you will survive."

"Aiko, m-my dear little brother... I-" he rasps, breaking into a series of coughs as the blood continues to surge out of his gaping wounds. "I love you, remember... That, brother will always watch...you, sorry."

"Don't talk, please; you will survive. Don't be like that; you promise to me we'll go to Japan with mom and dad, please." Aiko pleads as his voice cracks and his tears continuously pour out.

"I'm sorry. Brother will break his promise."

"Brother!"

"Aiko." His brother looked at him with gentleness, and like the time had slowed down, he slowly took his last breath.

But why is he still smiling? For him? Why?

"Brother..." He meekly called out, "Please wake up." He nudged the cold body, "This is not a good joke, please." He he choke up.

"Please"

He lost count. He didn't know how many times he tried to wake up his brother

Still, He Plead
