"Time is truly something we can be ignorant about", Subconscious stated, while leaving the Garden. It was time for him to move to the next location, to check out the others.
Thus, the strolling continues, as Subconscious wanders around in this mind-space. Having already visited a Library, a Garden, and a Theatre… He grew curious as to where the next shade had taken up residence. The blades all have their way of taking up and healing in different ways. They may be different people, but they share the same goal and the same mind space.
In this world of imagination, it can be easy to forget what happens when you start to spiral down the road of delusions. Keeping yourself from truly living in the moment, and constantly worrying about events that have already occurred or events that may happen later in the future.
Down the road that Subconscious treads, seems to be a simple club of sorts. A place of meeting and gathering. Someplace that is usually chalked and filled up with information.
"I wonder if someone has taken up residence in this place.", Subconscious thought, as he went inside the club.
"Is anyone here?", Subconscious poked his head inside and pushed the imaginary door open.
A girl's voice greeted him, "Welcome to the club, Master!"
Another voice then greeted him, "Oh, it's you. Glad to see that you made it out all the way here."
A third voice then greeted him, "I never expected you to be here."
Subconscious let out a deep sigh. He knew that it was the Fifth Blade. "Infatuate… I know that you are just messing with me. Just stop it, take up one form that you have and I just want to talk with you."
"It seems that even I cannot charm myself. How charming of that!", the Fifth Blade stated in a rather cheerful tone.
"You seem rather joyful for someone who had just fought the rest of the shades and now residing in a club of all places?", Subconscious questioned the younger shade. "I know that you haven't been around for as long as the others have, but that does not give you the luxury to behave like this. After all, you are the one shade that everyone seems to place their love into the most. Everyone seems to want to keep you alive."
"That's very true, it's just. It's just like you stated. I have not yet spent as much time, as the others in that regard, to be able to process whatever happened at the table. It went off so fast and confused every fibre of being in me. I know that those are just the other shades of me, but I am scared of myself, Advisor."
"Scared of yourself in what regard?"
"I do not know what is going to happen to me. I feel like I will fail everyone if I continue just being the way that I am. I am just unconditionally loved by everyone around me, it feels so strange not to be loved and pampered. I do not get pampered in this space at all. Everyone knows that it's just me, and my charm."
"So you are jealous of it? Or sad that people don't love you as much as they do outside this space anymore?"
"Kind of, yeah. I can take up any form that anyone wants, being this perfect creature for the other person. Simply because all I know to do, is to read their mind and to manipulate the mind that they have. Nothing else."
"Your abilities have gotten us this far. You should be proud of them."
"I am… it's just… I feel… strange. Right now, we all hate each other. I am not used to the fact of hating the others. I know that I may have disagreed at the table, and everyone threw a tantrum over there, but we all deeply care about the others that we love. But mostly, we care about ourselves. I do not think the others split off because they do not want to reunite again, but rather, spend some time off with each other so that they can be stronger than ever when we all get back together again."
"That is certainly an optimistic way to look at this entire scenario. Especially considering the love and attachment that all of us had with everyone we've lost. We lost a lot of people that were close to us."
"That's what makes me sad. We could love the world, and keep it happy. Instead, we are dealt with the cards in our hands, which makes it far more impossible to leave it happy. That's why there's six of us, and an advisor, right?", Infatuate stated while pointing at Subconscious. "Say, Advisor, you care for some music?"
"I do not mind it."
"Then let me hit up some jazz. As well as that, do you want to do something else as well? Hit up some drinks? Play some games?"
"We could sit at the bar, but what drinks would we even drink over here? We don't need any sort of nourishment when we are down here. All toxins don't affect us, since we are present in the mind. I guess that we could sit down at the bar and discuss."
"I'll just pour some imaginary fluids. Nothing will ever happen."
"What a strange world." Subconscious thought to himself. Truly it was a strange world. Everything is powered by imagination, but things that could be destroyed.
"If only everything in this subspace could be as simple as this moment right here.", Infatuate thought to himself. "I do not want us to fight. I want us to get back to her, and help her. She needs the help as much as we do.", he started to explain to Subconscious.
"I know that. I know that we need to help each other so that we can help the others affected as well.", Subconscious replied.
"I just wish at times, that the Utopian world that we live in, wasn't corrupted by the pessimistic or pragmatic thoughts of rationality. At the same time, we wouldn't be calling ourselves a smart species, had we not had those thoughts."
"Exactly why all of this is important. It does not matter what we do, or how we do it. It is all-important in the grand scheme of things. Even as unfortunate as it may be, we lose a lot of people. We gain a lot of people in our lives as well."
"Yet in the world, where we are meant to be the centre of attention, it only brings more and more degrading emotions, as we tread down the path."
"No one is special. Everyone has flaws. Not a singular species exists that is made without its flaws. Some people call it 'having beauty in imperfections. We cannot do anything about it though."
"No matter how un-special we may be in this world, they all still depend on us."
"How long could you even survive with people enjoying being around you? It's going to start to sting after some time."
"I am the one who works with all six of the blades. That's why I have never felt the burden. All I need to do is puppeteer everyone until their satisfaction. Thus I have never felt the need to be in this spot."
"Is that why you chose to reside in a club of all places? A place where people come to unwind and enjoy?"
"People make a lot of good connections in these places. No matter which world you are a part of or your status, the love and power that is present in these places. It's truly something magical."
"That is what you make of this location? A place where love spreads?"
"No matter how illicit or how toxic it is, it is still something that people want to experience. No matter how old or how young. Everyone seems to want a piece of this place. They feel like they are part of an ordo. That's what makes this special. It makes people feel special, in an un-special universe."
Subconscious let out another big sigh, and then started to chuckle. Every step that he took, he learnt a little bit about himself again. The reasons why there are six of these shades, and why they all worked together.
After all, they are all part of the same min and the same mind-space.
"We truly make our worlds special, don't we?"
