We were both in silence as we left the class and started walking towards the end of the hallway.
The hallway was a very long beige and blue color tunnel with windows every 2 meters. The windows had ledges with flower pots holding dandelions. The whole hallway had a Victorian style, just like the rest of the school.
I turned to steal a glance from her, and she had a plain look on her face.
"Are you going to tell me why you wanted to meet with me?" I asked, turning my gaze back towards the end of the hall way. She started to walk slower and looked at me.
"What is your magic level?" She asked quietly. She looked at me with dead eyes.
"And why is that any of your concern, Chung Seo-Hyeon?" I asked while taking my headphones off. I turned around to look at her in an attempt to read her. She stayed silent for a while.
"I have the ability to see someone's magic level, insight." She finally admitted. I honestly wasn't shocked. She seemed to be able to have another ability she was keeping a secret. Ability's were different from Magic powers. There are so much different types of ability's that can be unlocked and so much different types that have yet to be discovered. They stemmed from Magic, but only the gods can give them to us, unlike how we can manifest their magic without needing their approval. Manifesting depended on being worthy or not.
But the one downside of the ability insight is that if you gain it, you have to report it to the government and become a part of their Intelligence guild.
The five gods of this world each control one Magic type. When you manifest one of their magic types, they give you some select skills we have come to call abilities. But the ability to be able to see someone's magic level is extremely rare. Only one god has insight in their arsenal, but they don't want to just give it away. You have to be worthy in their eyes to achieve it.
What makes her so worthy?
"So, what does that have to do with me?" I asked.
"I tried reading your Magic level." She said cautiously. "I've heard about you. You're considered a big deal by everyone here. I wanted to know what your level was."
People that have Insight aren't allowed to use it without the governments permission, as it could cause an out break in case a Magical being with a level 5 or higher is discovered. They have the right to keep tabs on the people with Level. 4 or higher, so rouge Magical beings with Insight have to be apart of the government. Not reporting your ability could get you in jail.
"You know it's risky, telling me that. It's illegal to not tell the government about having Insight as one of your abilities."
"They don't need to know I have it"
"And why is that?"
She stopped walking and stared at me. "They'd take me away. You know that."
"Still not worth risking jail time"
"It is for me." Her voice became a dangerous tone. "Just answer, what is your power level?"
"What if I turn you in?" I asked the question. Her answer would determine how much I tell her about me.
"Why would that benefit you?"
"It could better my reputation"
"You didn't seem like the type to care about that. And your reputation is already pretty good."
"What if I want more?" I stared at her with sharp eyes. "I'm not always what others think."
She smiled, and damn, what a smile. "If you wanted more, you wouldn't keep your true power a secret"
She's good.
We continued walking. By then, we were the only ones left in the hallway.
"If you knew my true power, why ask me directly? You already have insight, you know my power"
"A gut feeling you were lying about it. When I tried to read yours, it showed this."
She opened a green box in the middle of the air and showed me her stats.
She was gifted a green box, too?
This was just getting even more interesting. Green boxes where a hologram screens only Level. 3 Magical beings can acquire. If your a level 3 and show promising growth, the god of who's magic you manifested will gift you a green box. The hallway was empty, so it was okay. The green box showed all her information.

Clairvoyance?! And her mana is pretty high, too.
"Skill: Insight activate" Chung Seo-Hyeon murmured. Her already green eyes glowed neon, and her green box changed. Right under the Skills set, It read:

She couldn't read my skills, strength, speed, stamina or mana.
I smiled. "Fine, I'll tell you my level"
She turned of her Insight skill and looked at me with anticipation.
"I'm a level 10 Magical being. I'm not any type of Magic user, which means I can use Mage type, Attack type and Defense Type magic."
She stared at me with wide eyes. I wouldn't tell her anymore than that.
