Princess Lily took a deep breath as she looked to the crowd that had gathered for her dance. Her nerves were on edge as she mindlessly fiddled with the lace of her dress—a slight distraction from the anxious thoughts swirling through her head.
Fennel crossed his arms and watched as Marigold joined her on stage. It looked as if the princess had asked Oliver's mother to perform the dance with her. He thought it was a fantastic idea.
Oliver stood at the edge of the stage, his tail swishing as he prepared himself to play the music for Lily's dance.
