Before sailing into Minityrsa, he decided to buy himself an armor, so
he could get some protection against sudden attacks. So he went to Etris' famous Blacksmith.
-Sir Askelad, what is the greatest armor you have at the moment?
-The ones in that corner are one of their kind. They are coated with dust from the star tree in Minityrsa. This makes them more resistant to attunements and the song itself . However, there is a disadvantage. Although the wielder of the armor is less affected by other people's attunements, their own attunement also loses its power. If you're a mage, it works like a double-edged spear for you.
-I can't manifest the song… Nor do I want to. I hate the people that use song for their own fucking good. How much do you want for this armor?
-3,000 notes. Neither more nor less.
-3,000? Isn't that too much?
-As I told you before, they are coated with dust from the star tree in Minityrsa. And you don't use any attunement, so it's perfect for you. If you can't part with 3,000 notes for an armor that could be so useful to you, then it's up to you.
-Okay, I'll take it. But I have a question.
-Of course, go ahead.
-Are there things in Minityrsa that will help me become stronger?
-Hahahahaha! Is that even a question? Of course, there are. It's where the most powerful people of Etrean Luminant are. You'll surely find something to help you get stronger.
-Oh I see… Thank you for everything.
-Good luck, lad.
With the last of his savings, Argus purchased a sturdy boat from the Etris Docks and set out on his journey. The boat cut through the calm waters, the rhythmic sound of the oars pushing against the sea the only sound in the vast expanse.
The journey to Minityrsa was shorter than his previous one, and as he arrived, he was greeted by a breathtaking sight. Massive trees, their branches weighed down by snow, towered above him. Frozen lakes sparkled in the sunlight, and crystallized roads stretched out before him, leading deeper into the frozen wilderness.
Despite the cold, Argus felt no chill, thanks to the warmth provided by his armor. The air was crisp and clean, and there was a peacefulness to Minityrsa that he hadn't experienced in a long time. The silence was almost deafening, broken only by the crunch of snow underfoot as he made his way towards the Crypt of The Unbroken, marked on his map.
As he walked, he marveled at the beauty of his surroundings. The ice and snow seemed to shimmer in the sunlight, casting a magical glow over everything. He felt a sense of awe and wonder, knowing that he was walking in a place that few had ever seen.
As Argus pressed on, the terrain grew increasingly rugged. Each step became more challenging, the icy ground threatening to give way beneath his feet. Suddenly, a spike of ice shot towards him, narrowly missing thanks to his swift reflexes and sturdy armor.
Alert and ready, Argus scanned the area, searching for the source of the attack. Not far off, he spotted a figure wearing a mask, its features obscured. Without hesitation, Argus drew his rapier and charged towards the masked figure.
As he closed the distance, the masked figure unleashed a barrage of ice spikes, aiming to strike him down. Argus moved with agility, dodging each spike with calculated precision. Closing in on his target, he made a swift and decisive strike, severely injuring the masked figure.
-What did you even attack me for?
-...
-Are you also one of The Knives Of Eylis?
-...
Demanding answers, Argus questioned the masked figure, but received only silence in return. Frustrated by the lack of response, he struck again, this time delivering a fatal blow. As the figure fell, Argus attempted to remove the mask, only to find it firmly attached, as if it were part of the figure's flesh.
Puzzled by this strange encounter, Argus continued on his journey, his mind swirling with questions.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the land, Argus found a spot he deemed safe enough to set up camp for the night. He quickly gathered some wood for a fire, a comforting glow against the encroaching darkness.
