Anthony glanced at Nia in the rearview mirror as she slid into the car after lunch. "Where to, Niana?" he asked with his usual professional tone, but there was a teasing glint in his eyes.
Nia leaned back in her seat, her phone already in hand. "Hold on a second," she murmured, her fingers flying over the screen.
A mischievous smile curved her lips as she sent a message. A few seconds later, her phone buzzed, and she let out a chuckle, her eyes lighting up.
Anthony raised an eyebrow. "Should I be concerned?"
Nia grinned. "Always, Anthony." She typed a quick response before leaning forward, her voice casual but tinged with amusement. "We're going to Elegance by Deborah."
Anthony gave her a sidelong glance as he pulled into traffic. "Zack's sister-in-law's boutique? Zack's birthday coming up or something?"
Nia smirked but didn't answer directly.
