Justin came back with servers on the tow as they served a few dishes on the table. He observed his fried on one knee and palpable tension in the room, sensing he'd accidentally stepped into something bigger than he'd realized, took a step back, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh, yeah… my bad. I didn't think—"
One of the waitresses with brunette hair and skin-tight clothes eyed the situation and she caressed Zack's neck subtly as she threw a challenging glare in Nia's direction while placing the meal on the table. Zack was still kneeling in front of Nia. Nia threw an ugly glare in the waitress's direction and then at the place she had touched Zack and her face scrunched in disgust.
"Get out," Zack said darkly to the waitress and sighed. He will deal with that later. His eyes flicked back to Jess who was observing them deeply and was about to laugh, and then back to Nia. "Please believe me. I'm not following you, Nia."
