The wizards that stood on both sides of the auditorium bowed at the sight of the elders and then left through the doors at the end of the stairs back to their respect domes.
"Darkmoon Academy from its birth has borne great men and women constantly without fail. They rose to unimaginable powers that still feel unreal. These early wizards fought against every discrimination and stood on their beliefs."
"Conquering enemy after enemy, land after land and becoming the thread that holds this world in harmony. They called themselves warrior wizards." The elder wizard said.
"From this very soil did these thorned flowers grow, from this same soil, we plan to plant more in the form of you young ones, the next generation of warrior wizards."
"Welcome once more to Darkmoon Academy." He said and they cheered with joy.
The elders left the stage and the children were taken elsewhere. Considering the tired state of the young ones and the setting sun, they were led to their dorms to rest.
They would be given a tour of the school the next day.
After leaving the auditorium, they were taken outside to one of the towers on the western annex of the school by a school's staff.
"If you have any complaint of any sort that you feel should get to the hearing of the elders or anyone for that matter, Ms. Lucia here can help you." He gestured to the lady seated in a desk, though not everyone could see her, they could hear him and now knew where needed to be. She was busy snoring away on piles of papers, some of them looking to be letters.
"Lucia!" He called out.
"I'm up!" She jolted back in her seat. " I'm up!" She cleaned her eyes and stared awkwardly at the number of eyes looking at her.
A strand of her hair had fallen in her mouth while she slept, she pulled it out and wiped off the little drool off her face with her sleeve. She almost melted under the severity of the man's gaze while trying to smile, she still hadn't understood what was going on.
'Why are there so many children with him?' Was the only question she had in mind.
"I'm sorry you have to see this." The man apologized to the students and led them to a different room entirely, meaning they went up another flight of stairs.
"In all these rooms, every one of them is to assist you to pass on whatever message you have to whomever, wherever they might be except Redheart's empire." He said.
They walked up a few flights of stairs before getting to a hall with seven offices where each student entered to be given a number to the room they would be staying in as well as their uniforms and materials they would be needing.
After which they were taken to another tower of about eighty metres high and sixty metres wide in the school's premises.
The students walked in to find a woman at the entrance.
"Room numbers one to two-fifty-one, kindly take the stairs." She said, "Boys to the right, girls to the left."
"Numbers one two-fifty-two and above kindly locate your numbers on the circled patterns on the floor standing three people per circle maintaining boys to the left and girls to the right."
The kids did exactly as she instructed.
Those who were told to take the stairs did so, while the ones whose numbers were higher got on the drawn circles with their room numbers. As three pairs of feet stepped on the circles, the floor would rotate slowly as it rose through a pole in its centre.
The students walking up the stairs stopped and stared in awe at the ones being lifted.
"Now I wish my room was on a higher floor." A student said watching the others getting lifted off.
Once the lifters got to the floor that had the room numbers written on them, they would come to a halt. The students would need to push the railing a small sliding door and walk in.
Everyone got to their rooms in this pattern. The twins went together and stepped on the circle numbered 300. Fortunately enough, they were in the same room.
With them on the patterned circle was a young boy who reached their shoulder level. He had short black hair that looked a bit messy. His ears were a bit too big for his head and he was quite skinny.
The three of them stood around the pole and held onto it. The brothers didn't know why he was staring at them, and that too excitedly. They didn't bother about it. As they got to the floor and stepped off the carrier.. or lifter, or whatever it was, the three of them looked at the number on the papers they were given.
Their student numbers were 1797, 1798 and 1799, respectively. They looked at the numbers labelled on the doors and found their room quite easily.
"Eeeeek! We're in the same room, so I can go ahead and talk now." The boy said standing in front of the door. The twins looked around wondering if he was talking to them.
"This is my first time seeing twins!" The boys said excitedly. "You both are really tall." He added and moved a step closer, the twins instinctively took a step backwards.
'Too much exuberance.' They thought watching the boy keep on blabbering. 'Not another Enoe.'
"I'm Damien by the way," he introduced himself and stretched his arm for a handshake. He moved it back and forth between them both waiting for who would take it first.
"Out of the way."
The boy dropped his hand as soon as he heard that. It wasn't from the twins but someone behind them. They turned back to find a red haired boy walking up close. His right pupil was red. Strange, but suited him. His left eye was covered in an eye patch. He was about the same height as the twins.
"Sorry." Damien said and moved out of the way, letting the red hair walk in.
"Guess what!" Enoe crossed his arms over the twins shoulders from behind. "Although it's sad that we're not in the same room.."
"That's actually a great outcome," Kiyan opposed.
"I'm in the next one with the big guy!" Enoe said, ignoring Kiyan. "Isn't it great?"
"Feels like a nightmare already." Raten threw his arm off.
"We should go choose the better beds." Jarett said standing behind Enoe.
"You're right!" Enoe gasped. "See you later!" He turned and bumped into someone.
"Move, scum!" He kicked the student out of the way.
"Still the same." Kiyan's shook his head at Enoe's action, then he smiled.
They all entered their rooms.
There were six beds in each room. Three of which lay vertically from the walls bearing the windows and the other three lay in the same manner from the opposite walls. Beside each bed was a side table and a small drawer for the students.
To a corner of the room was a door that led to a closet. It had six wardrobes for each student with their numbers labelled on them. It was quite convenient. For the meantime, no one was putting anything in place and was just checking out the room.
Kiyan, Raten, and Red hair, chose the three beds by the windows.
Damien looked around picked the bed directly opposite Kiyan's bed. It was the bed closest to the door.
Four occupants in, two more remained.
