A hint of relief flashed in Anthony's eyes, though his expression remained stoic. "We'll need to go over a few details. Our marriage will be for appearances only, to secure this business deal. In public, we'll act like a couple. In private, nothing changes."
"Understood." Claire nodded, her mind still trying to come to terms with the gravity of the situation.
"You'll move into my house tomorrow. It will make our arrangement more convincing. You'll have your own space, and I'll respect your privacy."
Claire's eyes widened. Moving in with him was something she hadn't even considered that would be part of the arrangement. "We'll also need to attend a few public events together, starting with a charity gala this weekend." Anthony continued.
