Heinrich and Gilbert made their way through the hospital, and the more they walked, the graver their expressions became.
"How is this possible?!" Gilbert asked, but Heinrich couldn't reply. His face was contorted, and his eyes burned with fury.
As they walked through the main section of the hospital, the hallways they had expected to be empty were instead filled with the bodies of nurses, doctors, and a few patients alike.
All of them were undoubtedly dead, blood streaming from their seven orifices.
"The sewage area is reinforced, which is why we didn't notice it. I never thought…" Heinrich sighed, sadness in his eyes.
He gently placed Gilbert in a chair and hurried to grab a first aid kit.
"We'll get you fixed up first, then we'll go after them. We have to make sure they don't destroy the evidence!" Heinrich declared.
"I think we should let them destroy it," Gilbert suddenly said.
