Vince stayed in the hospital for a month. They never found anything wrong with his body. The doctor just said that Vince's body became fond of using fainting as a way to escape reality.
Fainting is an unusual choice. Most kids would choose something simple to cope with trauma, some turn to instruments, some turn to equipment, some choose cars, etc.
The doctors observed Vince for many weeks until they came up with that nonsense. They keep on taking Dexter's money and they have no clue about Vince's condition.
The doctors can only say some random stuff, release Vince and hope that he outgrows whatever it is. Or Vince can come back when more symptoms appear. Maybe then, they can diagnose Vince properly.
As a precaution, one doctor advised Dexter to manage the symptoms. Since they don't know when Vince will faint, it is better to let him stay at the house at all times. At the very least, they will know where he is and Vince can sleep it off. As long as someone checks on him regularly.
Dexter pitched the idea of homeschooling to Vince to which he agreed. The school accepted Vince to the homeschooling program. Materials that Vince needed to study will be given every month. Dexter has to make sure to teach Vince the given materials. As long as Vince passes the tests provided by the school, he can finish his studies.

It's been six months since Vince got his powers. The eyeglass was just the instrument but the power was his own.
In the past months Vince became convinced that his power is Voodoo related. It's like casting a curse on someone. If it doesn't require him to sacrifice something to cast, then it wouldn't be related to Voodoo. Since it does, then this power is related to Voodoo.
He learned to control how much sacrifice he has to give. Or what part of the body can be paralyzed and how long the paralysis lasts. Lots of people experienced accidents as he tested his power.
Sometimes he would use the effects to get a good solid eight hours of sleep. Lots of kids lost something valuable as they became the target of Vince in his desire for sleep.
Alfred lost his watch one time. He rode his bicycle to school and Vince saw him along with a few of his friends. His rude gesture to Vince painted a huge target symbol on his back. Vince hit him with his powers a few times a week.
Everytime Vince targets Alfred, he would lose something. The first thing that he lost was his watch, them some money, pen, book and even a cap.
Bringing the money close to the eyeglass that he is wearing is weird. It might also makes it easy for others to connect the random accidents and Vince's arm movement. Especially if they see him holding money that would magically disappear each time.
After a few tries, he found out that the money doesn't need to be brought neer the eyeglass. He just needs it to be on his person and he also need to think of the amount he wants to spend. He experimented more and found out that he can use the money even if it is inside his bag. As long as it is his money.
When a typhoon came, Vince run out of targets. School has no classes and the kids have stayed in their homes. There are a few random people in the street. They were not counted as Vince's targets.
Since using his power on an individual would cause that person to experience something bad with the severity of that experience being entirely in Vince's control. Vince wanted to target only the people that he thinks deserved it.
Since he can't find a suitable target, he turned on the tv and watched some local news. To Vince's surprise, Mrs Dumdum is at the center of the news.
The incident where Mrs Alrol gave Vince one week suspension has been investigated by the education board. They let her go. As for Mrs Dumdum, she received an award for her prompt handling of the situation she even gave a speech in which she said that she will continue to practice the values that they are teaching the students.
What a load of bs thought Vince. He didn't know how Mrs Dumdum was able to destroy the letter. It's just that when Dexter found him unconscious, his reaction was to bring him to the hospital. Whoever took the letter did it while Vince and Dexter were in the hospital.
Angered by the audacity of the principal, Vince put on his eyeglass. It has becoya habit to put on the eyeglass whenever he is angry. As a villain in the movies once said, you don't unholster your weapon if you don't want to use it.
This means that if you want to shoot someone, you unholster your weapon. For Vince, he is wearing his eyeglass because he wants to curse someone.
He didn't realize that the people he has cursed in the past six months were all people that are nearby. He has never tried cursing some from across the screen. Fortunately, the mystical words appeared on top of Mrs Dumdum's head.
Now it's time to choose to what degree he wants to curse Mrs Dumdum. He can't faint for more that 8 hours as that would make his father panic and would get to spend three days minimum at the hospital. Paralyzing an arm or a leg for a week would earn him the title of a disabled or invalid. None of which he likes.
He initially liked his power because he can also use it to get out of anything. Doesn't want to go to the market, faint. Doesn't want to wash the dishes, then faint. However, he must manage the duration of his fainting spells.
Vince hated Mrs Dumdum and wanted to give her a super curse. He thought long and hard and then laughed. He thought long and hard. Key word. Hard.
Chucking to himself. He initiated the curse by reading the words that appear on top of Mrs Dumdum's head. Vince chose his extra limb to be the sacrifice. Just to make the curse stronger, he set the paralysis for six months.
This isn't the first time that Vince used his extra limb for cursing. He just forgot it because it happened some time ago. During his first monthly check up, a nurse was rude to them. Turns out, she was related to Mrs Alrol and wanted to teach the father and son some lesson.
Vince just cursed her and used his extra limb as a sacrifiice since he knows the doctor and nurses wouldn't check that particular part of his body. A few coins later, the nurse hit her toe on the doorm it happened three times and Vince lost all of his coins in his pocket.
Dexter places some cash on the pocket at the side of the fridge as Vince's lunch money. To be used to pay for food deliveries whenever Vince took a fancy to any type of food. Specifically, pizza.
Everyday Vince would say that he used up all of the lunch money. He would then ask for more money for snacks. Dexter just gave Vince the money.
Thanks to that Vince has enough money for his daily habit. However, he still has some saved up for the moment he sees any of his teachers visit. Seeing a target on tv, Vince went to his secret stash.
Vince used up half of the money and waited eagerly for the curse to activate. But then, nothing happened to Mrs Dumdum.
It was Mr Calig who fell of the stage, hit his head on the floor and bled profusely. The look of horror on Mrs Dumdum's face as she daw Mr Calig bleeding confirmed the rumors. Mrs Dumdum and Mr Calig are really having an affair.
Though Vince succeeded in cursing Mrs Dumdum and hurting her. He never thought that the curse would work that way. Hurt Mrs Dumdum by hurting the person she cares about. Is this what will always happen when Vince wants to use a super curse on somebody?
