Stella stared at the figure sitting in front of her, her heart racing as a flood of emotions threatened to overwhelm her. There were so many questions swirling in her mind, but she didn't know where to start or how to keep her composure.
William's voice was calm, almost unnervingly so. "Looks like you still remember me."
Stella's breath caught, but she quickly tried to regain control. "I don't remember you, but you do look like someone I know."
He raised an eyebrow, a slight smirk tugging at his lips. "But you just called my name."
"Maybe it's just a coincidence," she replied, trying to sound nonchalant, though her mind was screaming with questions. How was he alive? What was he doing here? And more importantly, why now?
William's eyes darkened slightly, though his smile remained. "Wow, that's nice. You look like someone I know too."
