"Ahhh, that was delicious! Best dinner ever!" Uta exclaimed, stretching as he stepped out of the restaurant.
"Yes, it really was," Stella agreed with a contented smile.
By the time they left the cozy eatery, night had fallen, and the streets were lit by the soft glow of lanterns. The pair returned to the inn, their bellies full and spirits slightly lifted after the tense day.
The moment they entered their room, Uta flopped onto the bed with an exaggerated groan. "Ugh, I'm so full. I think I'll just pass out like this."
"Uta, no! At least take a shower first. And brush your teeth!" Stella scolded, placing her hands on her hips.
"I'll shower in the morning," Uta mumbled into the pillow. "And I don't get cavities, so it's fine. I'm just gonna sleep now…"
Stella sighed, exasperated. "Honestly… You're hopeless."
As she muttered under her breath, she moved to remove Uta's jacket.
