The Demon Ape's habitat was located in a rocky mountain range to the north of the magical city of Alden. Together, Uta and Stella made their way there, preparing to undertake the climb.
"Hah... Hah... This is tougher than I thought," Stella panted, leaning heavily on her staff as they ascended.
Born into a life of hard labor as the child of slaves, Stella was more physically resilient than most. Yet, the unfamiliar challenge of mountain climbing had her struggling to keep up.
Meanwhile, Uta walked as if on a leisurely picnic, his expression as relaxed as ever.
"Yeah, it's pretty tough. Want to take a break?" he asked, his voice calm.
"N-No, I'm fine! I'll manage somehow," Stella replied, determined not to slow him down.
