Allison and Mark strolled through the park, hand in hand, on a much-needed date. Probationary sidekicks were allowed each Sunday outside the Fortress, and this is how Allison intended to spend each one of them. The sunlight filtered through the trees, dappling the path ahead of them. Allison wore a simple sun dress, her hair loose and flowing, a stark contrast to her form-fitting hero suit.
"It's so good to just relax and spend time with you." Mark smiled, squeezing her hand. "You've been working so hard lately."
"I know." Allison smiled back, but her heart was heavy. The events of the past week weighed on her, and she felt a constant undercurrent of guilt.
They walked in silence for a while, taking in the peaceful surroundings. But Allison's mind was elsewhere, replaying the encounters she'd had with Bullseye and the confusing feelings she had for Jake.
"Hey." Mark stopped and turned to face her, searching her eyes. "You okay? You seem a million miles away."
"I'm fine." Allison offered a weak smile, battling her inner turmoil. "Just a lot on my mind, you know?"
Mark pulled her gently into his arms, holding her close. "Whatever it is, you can tell me." He brushed a stray lock of hair from her face. "We're in this together, remember?"
Allison nodded, her guilt threatening to overwhelm her. She knew she couldn't keep her recent experiences from Mark forever, but she wasn't ready to share them yet. Not when she herself didn't fully understand the complicated web of emotions she was dealing with.
Determined to push her guilt aside and focus on the person who had always been by her side, she took Mark's hand and led him off the main path, seeking a quiet spot where they could be alone.
They walked in comfortable silence, neither needing to fill the air with meaningless chatter. Eventually, they came to a secluded spot under a large oak tree. Allison sat down, patting the space beside her, inviting Mark to join her.
As they settled against the tree, Allison turned to face Mark, cupping his cheek. "I want to show you how much I appreciate you." She leaned in and their lips met, their kiss deepening as they surrendered to the moment.
Allison's kiss trailed down Mark's neck, her hands roaming over his chest. She wanted to give him pleasure, to lose herself in this moment with him, to forget about the confusing desires that had been clouding her mind.
Her fingers deftly undid his belt, her lips continuing to explore his neck and collarbone. She sensed his surprise at her forwardness, but he didn't resist, instead, surrendering to her touch.
With gentle determination, Allison guided Mark to lie back against the tree, she wanted to give him an experience he wouldn't forget, to reaffirm her love for him, and to silence the guilt that had been plaguing her.
She leaned down and enveloped his cock insider her mouth, her lips brushing down the sides of his length. Mark's hands came to rest on her head, his fingers running through her hair. She looked up at him, her eyes reflecting her passion and devotion.
"Are you sure you want to do this here?" Mark's hips bucked gently. In that moment, Allison felt like she had made the right choice. Mark was her constant in a world that had become increasingly complicated. She would deal with her conflicting emotions later. For now, she wanted to lose herself in this act of love and fully embrace the connection they shared.
Mark's surprise at Allison's sudden passion soon gave way to pure pleasure. His hands gripped her hair, guiding her as she took him deeper into her mouth. Allison's enthusiasm combined drove him wild. Allison's mouth continued its ministrations, her tongue swirling and her lips tightening around him.
Then, without warning, Mark's hips bucked, he moaned, and he spilled himself into her waiting mouth. Allison didn't break eye contact, savouring the taste of him, and ensuring he received the full experience.
As Mark came back to earth, his hands gently urged Allison to stop. "Fuck, Alli," he panted, his heart pounding. "That was..." He trailed off, still dazed by the intensity of his release.
Allison gave him a satisfied smile, licking her lips, savouring the lingering flavour of him. She snuggled into his side, resting her head on his shoulder, feeling content and loved. "I wanted to show you how much you mean to me," she murmured, her fingers tracing idle patterns on his leg. "Even if it was a bit sudden."
Mark smiled, his hand coming up to stroke her hair. "It was perfect." He held her close, feeling incredibly loved and desired. "But we shouldn't stay out here forever." He cast a playful glance at her. "They might send a search party if we don't head back soon."
Allison giggled and pecked him on the cheek. "You're probably right." She reluctantly started to get up, smoothing out her dress. "But it's nice to know I can still take you by surprise." She winked at him.
Mark stood, offering her his hand, which she took, their fingers interlacing. "I can't say I'm complaining," he said, pulling her close for one more embrace. "You definitely succeeded in taking my mind off things." He held her tight, breathing in the scent of her hair. "I love you, Alli."
"I love you too, Mark." Allison snuggled into his embrace, feeling a momentary peace in the midst of her inner turmoil. "But let's not make a habit of this," she added with a playful grin. "I don't want to think I am easy now."
They laughed together, their moment of passion giving way to light-hearted banter as they began the walk back to the Fortress of Justice, hand in hand, their steps synchronised. Yet slowly, but surely, Allison felt her guilt, and desire, returning.
