'Clack! Clack!' The sounds of keyboard keys typing away echoed inside a large room.
Behind the Oakland brown wooden bead curtains was an ample space like a living room, about 20 X 20, equaling 400 square feet. The interior decor is contemporary, with a dark silver color. In the center of the space is a floating bed with gray covers. The room floor was tiled using granite tiles, complimenting the room's interior decor. Three small cabinet-like boxes made from polished bamboo wood are attached to the wall a little above the bed.
To the right of the floating bed is a craftsman or mission-style table lamp. Craftsman lamps typically have a comprehensive, pyramid-shaped shade over top of a column-shaped base.
The shade is made of stained glass with a dark, contemporary design. To the left of the floating bed is a fixed shower glass. Behind the shower glass is a 150-square-foot large master bathroom decorated with granite tiles.
"These sons of a bitches! How dare they turn on me!" A melodious voice said from behind the Oakland brown wooden beads.
'Clack! Clack!'
"Let me expose you, son of a bitches!" The voice roared in rage.
i_luv_WJBX: @blfantic421 They look good together; there's no need to ship them.
Anime4lyphe: @i_luv_WJBX I agree with upstairs. Why do you insist on shipping them? Are you so desperate to see two men together?
blfantic421: So is there a problem with that!?
Coby_234: @blfantic421, what's your problem, man? Are you gay or something?
"This son of a bitch! How dare he!?" Li Jun yelled in anger.
Gritting his teeth, Li Jun typed furiously on the keyboard.
blfantic421: @Coby_234, your father is gay. Your whole family is gay! And what if I'm gay!? What's wrong with shipping!? If you have a problem, close your eyes and don't read my comment!
Coby_234: @blfantic421, now he's trying to blame others for being unusual.
Hyut_ryhs: @Coby_234 I agree upstairs. He always ships male characters who have nothing to do with each other. Like, who ships Tang San with Xiao Ao?
Richyoungmaster: @Hyut_ryns, I agree. Who's better than Xiao Wu with Tang San? Nobody!
BL_lites: I'm a Bl fan, and yes, I go crazy for BL couples, but I don't just ship other males together.
Bl_guru: @BL_lites yh same a me. I remember that @blfantic421 shipped Xiao Yan from Battle Through To Heaven with his Master, Yao Chen. I was irked as a BL fan.
WeiWuxuian: I agree with upstairs.
Iliv4_wangyibo: I second that.
YanYan: Yeah, @blfantic421 should try with a man if he loves seeing two guys! Haha!
"Fuck your -" Li Jun's words got stuck in his throat as someone burst through his room door.
"LI JUN! Why are you locked up here? Don't you have to eat!?" An ear-piercing scream sounded into Li Jun's ears. Li Jun covered his ears with both hands, blocking the ear-shrieking scream.
'Shit! Did I miss breakfast, or was it lunch,' Li Jun thought as he dreaded what was to come.
'Smack!'
"Kaugh! Mom!?" Li Jun grimaced in pain as he held the part of his head that was smacked open by a blunt hand.
"What are you calling me for!? Shouldn't you be having lunch downstairs!? What did we have for breakfast this morning?" Li Jun's mother, Delphia, scolded Li Jun and questioned him afterward.
"Huh? Didn't we have soybean milk and deep-fried dough sticks, steamed buns, congee, wheat noodles, rice noodles, eggs, toasts, cereals, and dad had his special tea," Li Jun replied confidently.
"OH yeah? Why do I remember having avocado toast with fried egg, steamed bun, soybean milk, and congee?" Delphia asserted, pulling on Li Jun's ear.
"Ahh! Ahh! Mom, I was wrong!" Li Jun cried as Delphia pulled his ear ruthlessly.
She glanced at his computer screen as she scolded Li Jun and pulled his ear.
Being too focused on the rippling pain from his ear being torn from his head, Li Jun didn't notice his mother's gaze.
'Huh? I'm not feeling pain anymore. Is mom taking pity on my poor soul?' Li Jun thought as he peaked at his mother.
Glancing at her, Li Jun realized she was focused elsewhere. Looking in the direction of her eyes, Li Jun realized what distracted his mother from finishing tearing his ear off.
As if possessed by flash, Li Jun quickly reached out his hands and touched the ESC key, and immediately, all the contents from the monitor were erased, replacing it with Li Jun's lock screen. But the lock screen content made Li Jun want to return one second to when he pushed the escape key. On Li Jun's lock screen was an animated image of Hua Cheng passionately kissing Xie Lian from Heaven's Official Blessing. Li Jun wished the ground would open right then and there and swallow him from the embarrassment. Li Jun isn't embarrassed because of his preference in taste but because his mother was exposed to things like these; it was like he was stripped bare.
"Ahem! All you do is play with your computer the entire day! Don't you have something better to do!? You're even skipping lunch and breakfast! The audacity!" Delphia faked a cough, trying to rid the air of awkwardness with a flushed face as she scolded Li Jun.
"Ahh! Mom! Mom, I was wrong!" Li Jun cried as his mother pulled on his ear, pulling him from his chair, out the Oakland brown wooden bead, and to the door.
"You rascal!" Delphia countered his cries.
"I'm going, I'm going," Li Jun cried as Delphia pulled him through the black double doors.
Before the double black door is an aisle about 8 feet long, and a beautiful silver chandelier hangs from above, giving the already white and silver decor a more graceful and heavenly look.
'Click!' The door closing echoed throughout the already noisy aisle.
"Pfft! Mother, what did Xiao Di* do this time?" A sonorous voice chuckled.
Turning to the direction of the voice, a tall and handsome man, about 183cm in height with short blonde hair and electric blue eyes, stood at the end of the aisle before a large white double door.
His hair was neatly trimmed into a curtain hairstyle. He is attired in a blue and white shawl lapel suit. Judging from the looks of this very handsome man, one could see that he's mixed, asian-american.
"Hong'er," Delphia acknowledged her eldest son.
"This brat didn't eat breakfast again and planned to skip lunch! Spending every day on the internet as if he doesn't have a family!" Delphia then added, pouting, and continued pulling on Li Jun's poor ear.
Li Jun's left ear: please spare me, Madam! I have done nothing wrong! Nothing!
Seeing his eldest brother, Li Jun, pulled the most adorable expression he could muster up and stared at Li Hong.
'2x Meng Attack!' Li Jun thought as he made his eyes watery, adding charm to his pleading and adorable expression. Staring back at his little brother, Li Hong was dazed. Two different-colored eyes stared up at him, clouded with tears as if he was about to burst into tears and beg for his help.
'Pow!' An arrow hit Li Hong's heart as he stared at his little brother, still in a daze.
"Ahem! Are you heading out?" Delphia faked a cough, pulling her eldest son out of a stupor.
Realizing that he was boring holes through his brother, Li Hong faked a cough, trying to get rid of his embarrassed, flushed face.
"Ahem! Mother Xiao Di has now learned about his mistake. He was wrong. Just forgive him this time," Li Hong pleaded with his beautiful mother as he was weak to his brother's charms.
"Hmm! Mom, I've learned my lesson, and it won't happen again. If it does, you can b-banned me from m-my d-d-devices for three months!" Li Jun declared, grimacing; his heart bled from his bold declarations.
Delphia, who still thought that wasn't enough as a punishment for her unruly, careless, and unfilial son, remained undeterred, pulling on Li Jun's ear. Seeing that his mom had no plans to let his little brother go, Li Hong decided to provide more conditions for his younger brother by sacrificing his life.
"Alright, Mom, I'll go on all the blind dates you set up for me for a week," Li Hong said, peering at his mother with determination, but within, he was devastated.
"2 weeks," Delphia asserted with an adorable pout.
"A week and three days," Li Hong added, unwilling to sacrifice his life for that long.
"4 weeks," Delphia then injected unyielding.
"Alright, Mom, 3 weeks, 3 weeks, and that's it," Li Hong said as if he had given up. Knowing his mother's temper, she's not settling for less.
'It's for my adorable baby brother; just bear with it for now,' Li Jun thought, consoling himself of the reasons as he dread an unsettling feeling.
"OK, three weeks it is. Hmph!" Like a child who didn't get the toy they wanted but accepted other things, Delphia harrumphed as she released Li Jun.
After the little scene where Li Hong had to sell himself, Li Jun clung to his brother and settled his restless heart as they made their way to the dining room. Walking into a room almost the size of a small palette room, around a long table made from solid wood with a beautiful drape hanging down, sat six people. Li Jun looked shocked, not expecting a house full of people. Li Jun's 'house full' is a bit baseless; just from the size of his home, more than 15 people can live there. Hearing the footsteps, the people around the table turned to see who was entering.
"Li Jun'ge!*" a chirpy voice called out from the end of the dining table.
"Hmm. Zhao Cheng," Li Jun responded as he sat around the table.
"Aunt Hua, Uncle Zhao, cousin, Jie, Father, hello," Li Jun said in one breath, greeting everyone around the table.
"Hi Jun'er. I see you have grown quite a lot since last time," Li Hua commented.
"Thanks, Aunt Hua, You have become more beautiful," Li Jun flattered with a slight smile. Anyone could see his smile was fake, but everyone pretended to see nothing.
'So pretentious!' Thought Li Jun.
After Delphia and Li Hong greeted the members around the table, the family of 8 started to dine. The table was filled with various conversations as Li Jun's mother, father, eldest sister, and brother were all talking. Li Jun, who wanted to hurry and get this over with, ate silently, hoping and praying that no one would notice him. But it was like God was ignoring his prayers as he heard someone ask him a question.
"So, Jun'er, how is school? I heard from Jie(sister-in-law) that you once again came out on top of your class," Li Hua smiled as she praised Li Jun.
After she spoke, the table became quiet as everyone stared at Li Jun. Li Jun looked up at Li Hua, who had a beautiful smile, which is also not a smile, on her face. Li Jun knew that smile too well. It's the definition of pretentious, only if that smile hadn't contained any ill intention. Li Jun smiled back at her.
"Yes, Aunt Hua, I did, and school is alright," Li Jun replied nonchalantly, shifting his eyes from the pretentious woman. As he moved his eyes, Li Hua's face twitched as she folded her hands into a tight fist.
"Hah! This child! I don't know how he can do so well in school when he's just always on his computer locked in his room all day and night," Delphia said, attempting to sound scolding, but anyone could tell she was gloating and praising her son.
With a stiff smile, Li Hua added, "Our Li Jun is a tianzi.*
'Whose your Li Jun?'Li Jun thought as he sneered at Li Hua in his heart.
The table is silent as only the clattering of chopsticks, forks, and spoons against the plates is heard. As Li Jun ate silently, he heard his name being mentioned again for the umpteenth time of the day.
'I need an excuse to leave from here. Else, I might go into a frenzy. It's so stifling!' Li Jun thought as he racked his brain to devise an excuse.
"Li Jun'ge, are you still watching those...animes and movies?" Zhao Cheng suddenly questioned with a smirk across his face.
'Here I am looking for an excuse when one just came knocking on my door,' Li Jun thought with a smile. His head was down as he continued to eat, even when hearing what Zhao Cheng asked him, so nobody saw his dazzling smile.
That question caused a foreboding silence around the table. Delphia watched to see if Li Hua would reprimand her son. However, Li Hua just sat there and ate as if she didn't hear what Zhao Cheng asked. Gritting her teeth, Delphia was about to retort, but Li Jun beat her to it.
"Yes, I am, and why should I stop watching them? But Cheng didi, what about you? Are you still visiting...that place?" Li Jun retorted with a knowing smile.
"You!" Zhao Cheng yelled. Furious, he gnashed his teeth and glared at Li Jun.
"I'm full," Li Jun slammed his chopsticks on the table as he hurriedly stood up. But before he could walk away, his father spoke.
"Sit down," Li Huo commanded in a cold voice
"Why should I?" Li Jun retorted as he hurriedly walked off, not waiting for his father's response.
"You!" Li Huo's anger flared as he watched his disrespectful son.
"Jun'er,"
"Xiao Li,"
"Baby brother,"
Delphia, his eldest son, and daughter, called in unison as they watched their son and little brother's back.
"I'm sorry, but please don't mind him. He's been a bit off his game since this morning," Delphia said, living straight through her teeth with an apologetic tone, but her facial expression conveyed otherwise.
"It's fine. Hah! When they're growing up fast," Li Hua responded with a stiff smile, her teeth gnashing and her hand tightly into a fist. Meanwhile, Li Jun reached his room and hurriedly dived for his bed.
"At least I've reached my haven. Hah!" Li Jun said, sounding tired.
'Yawn! I am this tired,' Li Jun yawned and thought as his eyelids got heavy.
'Well, I guess I could take a nap and then watch Heaven's Official Blessing,' as Li Jun thought, he drifted to the valley of slumber. Unbeknownst to Li Jun, a pair of robotic eyes were staring at him with a creepy grin on his face.
"I found you."
