I stood outside humming my favourite song while staring at the strange black building,
that was now glowing oddly in the dark, the height of it was unbelievable, it could nearly reach the clouds, it was so beautiful that it should be forbidden from this horrible world, but also mysterious to the eyes at the same time.
My blue hair flew around, irritating me, flapping strongly in the noisy wind.
wishing I could tie it back, flipping my finger across my wet forehead, moving the
wet bits of hair that was now clinging to my neck and cheek.
I looked up to the sky again, it must have been after midnight, because it was getting darker, I didn't have a clock on me, so I had to guess, noticing the half-moon was in a different location.
I sat there studying the position of it like I was taught, only to tear my eyes away from the north, to hear a sudden racket, the breeze pressuring against my cold face harshly, wiping the sudden tear from the corner of my left eye, blinking a couple of times in shock as men started pouring out of the doorway
of the mysterious building.
I counted at least thirty of them. You would have thought it was the beginning of
an army. There were so many pretty bad boys, this is going to be an epic battle,
I growled, leaning on my knees to watch them with a half-tilted smile.
I rolled my eyes, shaking my head in amusement, my eyes traveling downwards as
two of the men placed their hands on themselves. Wiggling, then pulling on their
trousers to get their middle gadgets straight.
Must be a bit sticky down there, I mumbled, still eyeing their odd movements, the
wind pushing them as they clung to one another. Sorry to say, they were making
me think that they were both gay.
I crouched down in my dark corner, my mind whirling with new possibilities, are
they really gay, letting my eyes flicker to the rest of them in turn.
Then turning back to the man in question to my mission, what were the odds that Siya the lord of the north would have had
thirty of his men out with him tonight. Frowning in confusion.
"Did someone inform him? It was impossible, things are top secret so how did the news reach him then. Now I was wondering if I was set up by someone close to me.
This man was going to be harder for me to kill than I originally thought.
I got up and walked around the grounds keeping an eye on the thugs, my mind a puzzle of mazes. Suddenly I stumbled, colliding with the nearest tree, not paying any attention
to what was in front of me. Placing my arms around the bark of the brown trunk
like I was going to give it a bear hug, hitting my head at the same time.
My vision darkened for a moment letting in strange buzzing sound in my head, after five minutes it still hadn't disappeared. It was
increasing intensity, like a warning bell was going off inside my brain getting louder. Was like the sound of bees buzzing, banging to be released. I groaned out at the sharp intense pain, suddenly wondering what was happening to me tonight, but I couldn't even fathom a single thought at that moment.
A bright light flashed; blindness coated me making me turn my head in shock at the sudden intensity of it. Red stood beside me with his hands tucked behind his back,
like a guard dog, his behaviour seemed quite odd tonight, turning, brow raised so high at me.
"Why are you holding a tree? He said grinning at me in amusement. I don't know, first thing I gripped, perhaps.
I said surprised, laughing lightly. Feeling uncomfortable with the situation. Perhaps
it would give me some additional advice, I joked.
He scoffed, "Are you hoping that tree will
talk, Ava? I snorted, it would be nice if the tree was a bit chatty, because I think I've been dubbed on! I answered watching him strangely. He rolled his eyes shaking his head, you don't say.
"Why are you here Red?
"Well, I've come to be nosy, Is there anything
wrong with that? Looking up at the sky at the same time with a deep imbedded frown.
I followed his glacé up, seeing nothing peculiar. But dark clouded skies. Looked
like we're in for a strange night tonight, stretching his neck further to watch.
"What are you talking about? I asked looking up at him.
Can't you not feel the difference in the Atmosphere, it's so strange, what a weird phenomenon, it's like the earths moving but it's in the sky. Look, he pointed up at the
clouds that were turning to a deeper black.
"Can't you not feel it's strangeness, woman!
I looked back at him oddly.
What a weird question Red. But I must say, my head is not quite right, it's buzzing bees
right now.
Really, Red turned to look at me weirdly, it
was like he was taking a guess at something.
Really, you're saying that your head is full of bees? Tell me, what else are you
experiencing right now?
I don't really care; I just want to get rid of
that buzzing. I muttered, struggling with my own Analogue in pain, and at his
odd questions and abbreviated Answers.
I watched in amazement as the clouds shifted, in patterns, then parting, causing
a big blackhole in the centre. So pretty
Red, I whispered. Whats happening to our beautiful sky, it looks like a tornado is
about to hit, right about now. I questioned him in shock, are we going flying tonight, I've never been taught, so this might be my first lesson.
Ava, Red turned to me in shock, listen women. He said seriously.
Right now, we're either going to fly up to that, or be sucked up by that damn thing.
Better to hold my tree then.
Red through me a disgusting look, I just grinned back thinking it funny.
Holy-moly, Red. Spider-Man is coming. Only one problem, that ones really furry. Haha, I
laughed at my own joke.
What is that thing crawling out of it exactly?
"Hmm Red, why ain't you answering me? Turning to let go of the tree, spinning around
to find him gone.
Damn old man, always disappearing on me.
Great, not only Am I speaking to myself, but that idiot has vanished into thin air
leaving me to answer my own stupid questions, yet again.
Seriously he runs away when things get crazy. With a huff and a grunt, I looked back at
the man I was supposed to assassinate one last time.
Get you next time then, maybe. It still smells fishy around here though. So, I'll let the spider deal with you instead, I mumbled chickening out of it, with that I turned, running in the opposite direction on light feet.
The job tonight wasn't a success, assassinating a person took a toll on a person's mind, because there was more than thirty people. I just hope my boss won't rip
into me when he finds out I let a spider do the job for me instead. Haha, such is life.
