Chapter 38 - The Dream of the Rhoynar

"My people did not invade much earlier because, back then, the King of the Rhoynar had a dream, one that foretold the destruction of the Seven Kingdoms as they were known then."

Haldor looked at everyone who had their attention on him. His gaze showed courage, which was unusual for someone his age, but he had proven to be different.

"It would all begin when the white walkers awoke again. They would start by consuming the free men beyond the extreme north. Their paths would extend to little-known areas where they would grow their army with civilizations beyond this continent."

"At that time, many wondered how to invade and reclaim our forgotten territory without killing ourselves in the process. Well, the answer is that an heir of the Rhoynar, who is considered the star of the north, must unite his blood with a Targaryen, and only then would there be peace during the preparation time before the winter attack."

"Do you want to marry a descendant of the Targaryen family?" Otto couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Do you think you can find a way for us to coexist in the Seven Kingdoms when we have dragons and a power greater than your army?"

"Watch your words, boy." Daemon glared coldly at Haldor.

Haldor showed no fear and asked instead, "Have you found any difference between what will happen and what might happen? I am the star of the north, who will fight against the darkness when the time comes, and we can only win if we are all united."

"Do you know the numbers of the dark forces?" Viserys was intrigued; he recognized the dream of the Rhoynar as identical to the song of ice and fire.

"We do not know the enemy's numbers. We do not know if they have dragons among their ranks, and we do not know if there are armored bears. We do not know if their army is large. This is one of the main reasons we are migrating to this place and reclaiming territory that should be ours."

"How do we know it's a white walker?" Daemon would not fall for what he considered fantasy, which could well be a lie.

Haldor smiled and signaled for a prisoner who had been taken after his crimes were known to be brought in. "Here we have a rapist, murderer, and pirate. We killed the rest of his people, but we took him to show you."

"No, please, don't kill me."

"You will serve a noble purpose. You should feel proud not to die like a pirate dog." Haldor said, throwing the pirate into the claws of the white walker.

At that moment, the white walker's hands penetrated the pirate's chest, and within moments, he died agonizingly. Many of those present looked away, but others wanted to know if the words about the monsters from beyond the wall were true.

"Is that all?"

"In ancient stories, before the Targaryens had to flee their home and conquer lands that did not belong to them, the Rhoynar, along with the northerners, faced the darkness. It is said that a Stark defeated the Night King back then, and if the battle had not turned out that way, no one would be alive."

"Dragons can burn entire armies." Corlys did not fear the white walkers, even if they existed.

But at the same time, a sudden question arose: "What happens if a dragon dies and rises like that pirate?"

Everyone looked at the pirate, who, out of nowhere, was sitting and looking at Haldor, who only stepped back a bit. As he extended his hand, an ice spear appeared in it.

Arghh!!!

"Anything that dies at the hands of these things rises as an undead, and no common metal can kill it."

Crack!

Haldor's spear pierced the white walker's chest. He was extending his hands to tear his body apart.

"Only metal forged in dragon fire or the sorcery of the Rhoynar can kill them." As he said this, Haldor drew his axe and soon beheaded the pirate.

At the same time, he pulled his spear from the ground and threw it at the white walker that was farther away, and it shattered into a thousand pieces, leaving only its head intact.

"By the gods..."

Haldor looked at King Viserys and said, "If we do not unite and, by mere chance, lose, you will have a horde of these creatures at your kingdom's gates that you cannot stop with just your dragons."

Crack!
