The song of ice and fire was nothing more than another dream that visualized the future. Whoever granted this ability to the most important beings of their time showed them a future in ruins.
"From my blood comes the prince that was promised, and his will shall be the song of ice and fire."
The dragons also had their dreams, like the Rhoynar; only now would it be seen that their will was stronger than their ambition. The invaders had made it clear that they did not care about the lands rich in fruits; they did not believe in a future if the white walkers were not eliminated.
If King Viserys decided to bring peace to this conversation, then they would win, no matter how many critics there were.
"We will claim solitary territories in the corners of the north; would that be acceptable? We will establish our city there and create our territory from that point; the only thing we would need are material resources." Harald immediately proposed his terms for moving to one of the seven kingdoms.
Daemon, still consumed by anger that his dragon was wounded by the cannons of these invasions, asked, "Wouldn't you like to live in the capital?"
"I appreciate your kind invitation, but we detest places we have not built from scratch. We have plans to create a new city; we will place our armies in the north as long as we can also keep this territory."
Otto intervened upon hearing this: "This territory belongs to another house."
"Then we will give them the opportunity to reclaim their territories through a duel to the death; they can choose their champion, and then there will be a battle for these lands." Luker proposed this, leaving everyone in silence.
"Who gave you the authority to claim territory in this manner?"
Haldor looked at the King's council, who still did not seem to understand the overall situation, and asked, "Are we under the same understanding? A bad decision from us, and we could both go to war. Maybe you've forgotten, but if the outbreak falls, you will all die."
"Everything can go as Harald has requested, and I will also deliver the official claim of large virgin territories for you to build your cities in that place. You will be supported with grain, material resources, and medical aid."
No one understood Viserys's decision, but this response was quite satisfactory for Haldor's side.
"Very well, I would like to speak alone with Harald," said Viserys, who got up from his throne and walked towards the mountains.
Harald looked at his son and then followed the King, who, as soon as he approached, said: "The only reason for us not to kill each other is if my daughter and your son marry; both have a good inheritance, so there will be nothing for either to envy."
"Did Aegon the Conqueror leave you his dream?"
Viserys was a bit surprised and asked, "Do you know about the dream?"
"Your ancestor mentioned that he would be the protector of the kingdom; for us Rhoynar, it only meant one thing, and that is that something drove that young dragon to take the seven kingdoms. We could have stopped them, but at that same moment, we had our own dream; everything was aligned."
"Whoever sent us these visions of the future must be worried that we do not kill each other. But it doesn't matter much; my son is not in favor of war," said Harald with a slight smile.
Viserys replied, "It reassures me that we are both wise leaders. I have no doubt that if my brother were King, we would have been at war a long time ago."
"My son's dragon is special; your daughter will not find a better man. They will both have nothing to envy."
Of course, Viserys had promised his daughter without her consent because he deeply believed that his next child would be a boy, but things do not always turn out as one wishes.
