"Your marriage is decided; you will marry Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen as soon as possible and live in the capital for a while until our armies march to the northern territory that will be discussed with the respective king of that place."
Haldor watched the ravens fly in many directions and was surprised by the swift measures being taken. "Will we divide our forces into three parts?"
"One third of our army will stay in this position; the armored bears intend to return to the north, so it will be easy to develop in that place by placing another third of our forces there," said Harald, still contemplating the possibilities of tomorrow.
With another territory in the south, where another great city would be developed, Haldor asked to be given dominion over that place to carry out his craziest plan for a city.
His plans were many; he had chosen the most innovative one: to build a castle surrounded by a prosperous city that would be self-sufficient. "When will I get married?"
"A few months later, I heard that Viserys is about to have his male heir, so all that marriage stuff will have to be much after his birth," said Harald, maintaining calm.
This, of course, did not affect Haldor at all, who would prefer some time before his life changed to one of torture with a wife who would very possibly be a headache.
But this was the cost of peace, something Haldor had been very clear about from the beginning, and nothing was better than this. He just had to be careful not to be poisoned; it would be a disgrace to die that way.
...
A few hours later, Haldor was working on his plans for the city, which had both defense and a very good waste system.
What he sought in a city was that it be clean, self-sufficient, and very pleasant to look at.
"This castle is too fantastical; it needs to be less flashy and have some good strategies to prevent it from collapsing easily," Haldor murmured, with his back to the door.
At that moment, the door was opened by Lucian, who, seeing Haldor's back, warned him: "Never turn your back to the door; it will make it easy for the enemy to kill you."
"I can differentiate your footsteps from those of others." Haldor did not show vulnerability to Lucian's warnings.
Lucian approached the table where the plans were and said, "The prophecy was true; you will marry a Targaryen, and their children will be the rulers of all. We still don't know when the enemy will appear, but right now it is a victory to celebrate."
"The armored bears said the same, but you know those prophecy things don't matter to me."
