Winter smiled as a glint flashed through her eyes.
She walked up to a table and sat down. She grabbed a cocktail.
Sipping slowly she smiled politely at the man opposite her.
"Good morning Mr Faust" She said calmly like the man opposite isn't glaring at her.
The man gritted his teeth and replied.
He immediately created an invisible barrier around them.
"Good morning"
He looked as if he swallowed a fly when he replied.
"Why the long face Mr Faust?" Winter asked enjoying his misery.
"I guess the cocktail I drank earlier didn't go down well"
Faust pulled his face together and looked calm.
Winter smiled got wider as she saw his controlled expression.
"I don't like when people mess with me Mr Faust. And you know that"
Winter eyes turned cold elegantly dropping the cocktail on the table.
Faust felt a shiver run down his spine as the dangerous aura from Winter is targeted at only him.
'this girl finally decide to show her true color's
He smirked releasing his own aura too but saw she wasn't affected.
'i guess living with Josephina has made her impervious to other people aura'
"I don't know what you are talking about young miss Powers"
Faust shook his head smiling.
Winter stared at him and smiled with meaning.
"We both know that incident isn't all bout arrogance"
"What incident young miss Powers?" Faust said confused but his expression said otherwise.
"You are very sure I won't tell my mother and she can't find out out of anger.

Winter stood up and walked up to him lightly patting his shoulder.
"The cocktail is wonderful"
She smiled and walked away.
Yesterday she was attacked by third year werewolves when everyone one in the school knows not to mess with Josephina daughter.
Although they all felt dissatisfied with it they didn't talk. But because of what she is they felt arrogant.
But they can't act on that due to the fear.
What if someone amplified that arrogance and planted a little bit of lust also.
Lust is a dangerous feeling to supernatural creatures because even if it is very little it is still enough to consume their whole rationality.
The werwolves attack yesterday wasn't normal.
'Faust must have kept someone on me'
She walked to a table and sat down.
There was movement among the crowd but it soon died down.
The music changed into a slow dance.
"Can I have a dance with the lovely lady?"
A man walked forward and stretched his hand.
Winter stared at him before glancing around the hall and signed.
A man dressed in suit and sunglasses walked forward and stretched his hand keeping the other one at arms length.
"Can I see your id?" Sunglasses asked.
Winter signed again looking tired.
This is a new year party organized for the whole school, one of the rare occasion where the upper class, middle class and lower class gets to mingle in celebration.
The students brought yesterday were already settled and given basic amenities for survival.
Some other things were provided to them including the is the sunglasses man asked for.
It showed their year,creature, rank and position in school and the one thing powers school cared about the most class.
The reason why the sunglasses man asked for is was because of the class.
The sunglasses man is her covet guard and they became extra protective after yesterday incident.
The other one was scared away. He just said he should try his luck since he saw the girl with the 'boards kids' thinking she is a friend of one of them since she wasn't introduced yesterday.
Winter eyes turned cold and she faced the guard and her eyes swept around the crowd surrounding her. She knew among this crowd their were more covet guard.
"Go tell the others that you are not to bother me and disperse"
Winter commanded.
"But miss?" The guard sounded worried.
"You work for me!"
She said with a final tone.
The guard bowed and disappeared into the crowd along with the rest.
"Now I can finally ask for a dance?"
A man walked up and stretched his hand politely.
He has a nice oblong face and hazel eyes his hair matching the color of his eyes. He had them in a long ponytail. His smile is warm like he wanted to melt Winter.
His clothes stuck to his body making his muscles peak out. His body wasn't overly built more like with lean muscles.
"Mm?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Come on" He held her hand and lightly dragged her to the dance floor.
Winter snatched her hand away.
"Stay away from me" She said angrily.
"Am sorry Win" He said and bit his lip.
"What do you mean? Yes we broke up and I choose not to have contact with you anymore" Winter took deep breath and calmed herself.
"Please? Can we just be friends? I really regret it" he said holding her arm gently.
"You were the coward! My mom can't do anything as long as am involved but you let her threats get to you!"
Winter took a sharp breath finding it hard to control herself.
"Am sorry and I really regret it" he begged holding her tight to himself.
"No you dont Diego!" She sniffled in his arms.
"Yes i really regret it"
Diego kissed her forehead and placed his chin on her head.
"I miss you so much. It has been hard with everything going on and nobody ever listens to me"
Winter burrowed deeper into his chest.
She felt him stiffen.
"Let go of my daughter" Josephina commanded from behind her.
Diego let go of her as if electrocuted. She staggered about due to the forceful push but still steadied herself.
She looked up at him shocked.
"Tell me you won't listen to her?" Winter whispered softly holding her hand out to him.
He glance at the hand and looked at Josephina bowing.
Winter knew he has made his choice like that.
"You are a coward"
She wiped her tears and walked away.
Diego felt a thousand knives had stabbed deeply into his heart but he just gritted his teeth and said to Josephina.
"Am sorry for coming close to her dean"
"It won't happen again"
Josephina said and walked away.
Diego out on a mocking smile.
