Tobias came out of his room dressed neatly thanking his stars Josephina didn't insist he should dress as a butler or not attend school.
He picked up his books and a textbook which had odd drawings on its cover not like the typical textbooks. The books and textbooks were part of basic necessities powers school provided. There were textbooks with more explanations and deeper knowledge but that is for who has money to buy it. He checked off things in his mind and walked out.
He walked out of the hostel building to the gate to meet his 'mistress'
He saw her holding a cup of coffee with her hair tied messily on her head. She looked stressed and even she didn't care about her appearance.
But that sloppiness didn't hide the beauty and indifference in her. Especially the indifference, it seem to be deeply engrained in her bones.
"You look like shit!" Tobias said wrinkling his face in disgust.
"Well I also feel like shit" she replied with her a raspy voice.
She took a sip of the coffee and shook her head trying to stay awake.
Tobias knew she had all reasons to be tired. After the weird muscular girl checking her memory she had fainted since and just woke up at dawn. She had to attend class today so as not to make her mother worried and suspicious. Which would make her rush down and finding out about the mysterious person she is desperately trying to find.
"Come on let's go, the first class is History and it is Mr Faust teaching that. He is known for been mean and trust me students prefer to die than to receive his punishments"
She said and started walking towards the school building.
"Why did you reject the car your brother brought for you? Now we have to walk!"
Tobias grumbled, he had toured this place on the day his first year batch came and he knew the distance of the class buildings from the upper class building is no short distance. It is very far!
The person at the front stopped and turned slowly.
"Don't start any of that with me" Winter warned coldly. The tiredness that she started with this morning vanished leaving bone chilling coldness that envelope Tobias making him feel suffocated and unable to breath. This girl is dangerous!
Tobiad shrunk afraid, he slowly nodded and swallowed hard!
Since Winter had taken him in yesterday she had made him let go and take down his guard against her after playing with him. He had forgotten she has the power and capacity to make him disappear!
She saved his life from a devil and he was grateful. Maybe her nice side had made him forget the Winter that brutally twisted Nynette wings at the new year party two days ago. He had forgotten she is a coldblooded and ruthless person.
He didn't have the right or capability to try to manipulate her thoughts. Heck! He is even her servant!
"Am sorry" He lowered his eyes and apologized.
Winter squinted her eyes and grabbed his chin lowering his face to her level.
"I am serious Tobias! I. Hate. It!"
Winter warned him staring deeply into his eyes.
She knew he was trying to manipulate her! There is someone around her that does that making her immune to those kind of things.
"Am sorry" Tobias said sincerely.
Winter let go of his chin and walked a different path different from the way the tour guide took them two days ago.
"There is a portal that leads to school grounds"
She said almost as if consoling him.
Tobias beamed brightly.

He decided there in his heart that he would always follow her in truth and never betray her. He owes her a lot starting with his life!
They arrived at the portal building and was quickly let through once they saw Winter.
They arrived on time to meet the whole first year all standing in the middle of somewhere close to the first subject classroom.
Tobias approached someone and asked.
"Why are we all standing here?"
"I dunno I saw people standing here and stood also" the person replied.
Tobias nodded and walked up to Winter.
"We are just standing here" he shrugged.
"It is weird but knowing Faust it is something he would definitely do. He is a very wicked and manipulative stay away from him" Winter said looking around bored.
"He sounds fun" Tobias replied trying to joke but she just stared at him like he was an alien.
"He doesn't manipulate without magic forcefully planting his in the person subconscious and kills the person if the mission is unsuccessful leaving no traces."
Tobias shivered in fear while Winter took a sip from her coffee indifferently.
A man walked up to them. He wore a well tailored blue suit and held a textbook similar to Tobias in his hand.
"Good morning young miss Powers" The man smiled with a glint in his eyes as he scrutinized Tobias beside him.
"Good morning Mr Faust" Winter replied with the same kind of smile.
Tobias stood on edge remembering Winter's words. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up when Mr Faust nodded at him.
"My person do not touch"
Winter said coldly.
Faust smiled, his eyebrows curved up in full arch like he heard something very funny"I hope you can keep that attitude when you reach my class"
He gave a little bow and walked away.
Winter stared at his back for a few seconds before walking to the class with the crowd taking a good seat at the front.
"Am Derek Faust call me Mr Faust."
Faust dropped the textbook on his podium and walked up to address the already seated students.
"Am supposed to teach History but now I teach Supernatural Bearings and since it is a new subject just introduced this year you will have a merged class with your seniors"
The class got wider and more people entered greeting Faust as they passed by.
They were obviously more familiar with everything as they didn't have the cautious look on the face of the fresh year. They emanated a more powerful and confident aura making the class more alive.
This were the seniors.
The fresh year couldn't help but look at them with pride and cautiousness, fearing and respecting them.
The people soon settled in.
"The class will get bigger but the second year have gone for their exam and won't be back until a month from now" Faust explained.
Winter eyes went a bit dim. Diego is out for exam.
'i hope he survives'
Winter said fully aware of the dangers of the exam taken outside.
"To make this clear, I have some rules in my class and the most important one is I don't want dead weights in my class!" Faust said looking dead at Winter.
The seniors knew something juicy will happen because of the popular unwavering enemity between the two. This is a teacher Josephina cannot fire because of unknown reason giving him the ability to cause trouble for Winter at will.
"Get out of my class Winter"
Faust said turning serious. His eyes locked on to Winter's holding his gaze till...
Winter smile and picked up her stuff.
"Behave yourself Faust"
Joseph low and cold voice came from the back. The voice contained strong warning, he raised his cold eyes at Faust.
Faust looked up not fazed of the killing intent directed at him.
"Joseph be warned! This is my class and I have all authority" Faust said coolly waking back to his podium.
"Faust.."
"He is right Joseph. This is his class" Winter carried her books and walked to him.
"Be careful this might not be your class again. This is your second strike"
Winter said in a whisper only the two can hear.
Tobias also stood up and packed his books.
"To where?" Faust raised a brow staring dead on at Tobias making the latter nervous.
"Um..sir?" Tobias stuttered nervously clutching his books.
Faust stared before chuckling.
"Come control your dog Winter"
Winter didn't give a response standing transfixed in that position staring at the man with a yellow eyes standing in front of her.
'He is the kiss stealer!'
He looked more relaxed and calm than that night.She felt his powerful aura surrounding her making make her unable to break the eye contact. His yellow eyes twinkled brighter than that night but they contained laziness and unruliness that seem to belong uniquely to him.
She saw his student status trying to get his name.
Winter reached for his student id that hanged off his neck after failing to catch his name.
"Mm!"
Winter groaned in pain as the force from behind knocked her out of the class making her hit the fountain nearby.
"The class defence system activated automatically" Faust said plainly and Shut the door.
Winter cursed under her breath patting her dirty clothes.
She picked something from the floor, a small smirk slowly formed on her face adding a mischievous beauty to her.
Been around magic all her life have made her sensitive so she knew a gust of powerful air is coming behind her and timed it to when she is trying to grab the man's is so it would look like an accident.
