Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 : Luna Silverheart!

"A puppet." Eros squished the snake as if it was a piece of paper.

*Boom, Bam! * The snake detonated.

The thick fog covered the surrounding area while Eros was coughing a lot. When the mist cleared, things looked altered. Eros was half-naked as his right eyebrow was burned. He looked similar to an Orc with no eyebrows and charred. Not that Eros cared about it.

The next moment, Dos' voice resonated in enthusiasm. "Mate, you look lovely. " He sneered. "I know a cockroach like you would not die in a small explosion. Never ever thought that you would look so Orc. "

Eros' face darkened as his golden eyes exuded immense aura. He grunted at the snake with desire to perish him.

"My lady, take this as a joke. " He grinned mischievously.

Dos heard many stories of Eros and his curse and healing abilities. How big an opponent was there he never gave up. Fight till his last breath. Dual with such a man was an honour to him.

"Brat, you talk too much." Eros grimaced and he was fully dissatisfied by the outcomes. He had to admit that boy was full of potential and sneaky. It reminded him of someone; himself.

He quickly noticed his features and his iris were much bigger than he anticipated.

Eros, as fast as lightning, swiftly grabbed the snake neck and thrashed his abdomen. In protest, Dos constricted his body.

"Haha! " Eros laughed.

Little did Dos forget that Eros was half naked and the red tablet maximised his curse. His scale was stinging like hell yet he endured it.

Therefore, Eros wasn't aware that Dos hadn't reached his climax.

"Mercy of refrigerator. " He muttered under his breath.

Slowly, Eros' body started freezing as his body was reaching minus degree. His hair, hands and legs were entirely covered with ice and last motionless as an ice statue.

This spell lets an opponent die quickly and might affect their heart. If a person is not released by this one must die from it.

The caster should be close to his opponent and touch his body.

Dos gazed upon Eros, who was shackled by his spell. His lips turned upward in amusement.

"I did it. " Soon his excitement ended as he noticed a grin on Eros's face.

Dos' chest started aching, as his body started turning smaller and smaller.

"Hisssss! " He hissed in excruciating pain and couldn't believe that old bastard had hidden a trick inside his sleeve.

"You win, Mighty, Eros. " Dos fainted on the ground as he couldn't beat this intense pain. It was like a pianist played his last note to kill himself. Only a madman could do it for pure joy.

At the last moment, Eros injected his blood. We all knew what would happen if someone tasted his blood.

Two formidable monsters clashed in a fierce battle and ended up killing each other. Irony at its finest! One thing was certain: Eros was not a victor in this contest.

...

Klaus and Mir were pacing towards Eros with concern in their eyes.

"Do you think he is alive? " Mir asked Klaus in curiosity.

Klaus replied, "Meow meow. "

"I do think so too. "

As dawn approached and the darkness receded, the aftermath of the long battle lay bare. Despair hung heavy in the air, and the scene was horrifying—corpses scattered everywhere.

Mir could sense an imbalance of M2 energy emanating toward Eros. It was hard to accept that Eros wasn't using magic. Unfortunately, both were powerless, confined to merely witness the duel. Poor Mir!

His gaze fell upon an old woman with wavy purple hair, crouched beside the Dos, carefully examining his condition

In the orange hue, her belligerent could be displayed. The old lady had wrinkled hands, yet her hazel eyes were full of depth and anxiousness.

Mir jumped from Klaus and bowed down to his mentor, his lord, Luna Silverheart. She had given them everything.

"Hail La Vida! " Mir's chirpy voice let Luna turn her head to him.

"Mir!" She glanced at him then shifted her eyes to Klaus with care. "Klaus, tough to handle your master. "

"Meow. Meow. " He ran towards her.

"Same. He was always greedy. "

Again, Mir ignored, but he wasn't bothered by that.

She stood up on her feet as swiftly Klaus rubbed his neck at her leg.

"Oh, my lovely Klaus, you are so adorable." She whispered while carrying the goofball in her arms. "You have grown so much and also gained weight." Luna walked in Eros's direction. However, Klaus didn't like this mockery.

"Mew.. Meow. "

As the wind began to stir softly, the sun's golden rays bathed Luna in a warm glow. Her hazel eyes sparkled, and despite the fine lines etched upon her skin, there was a tenderness in her expression. She had the gentle grace of a grandmother, the kind that enveloped you with unconditional love.

Luna frowned, watching Eros froze.

"Aren't you too old for this?" She murmured as she observed his friend, who hadn't aged much.

"Time to work. " She put Klaus on the ground. Then Luna called her shaft and clenched it tightly.

"Ohh Enchanted thee, may you bring peace upon this land. Devour negativity and bring hope in this forest. " She called La Vida with a resonant voice.

Thousands of bubbles surrounded her as she continuously chanted a spell. It was not a spell, but a way of life of La Vida. The flower that was destroyed earlier started growing under the golden rays. The air was purified as if nothing happened.

In the next moment, the guard—who had been slain by Eros—was suddenly enveloped by a thick branch. His severed head and body were drawn together, merging within the haze before vanishing in the blink of an eye.

Mir was standing in daze and couldn't comprehend this.

"What is happening here? "

Instead of Luna, the second guard, Pine answered. The one who was saved by Dos.

"La Vida took it and will purify his body so he can reincarnate. All the sins he had done in the past need to be washed away." Pine's voice was a hint of sorrow while watching this.

Every time he had seen this, it always felt weird. Yet he would do the same for La Vida.

Mir opened his mouth in awe and focused on Luna. The old lady was chanting a spell continuously and then thumped his shaft on the ground.

*Plop*

The ground shook for a moment, and Eros was defreezed by one of the power spells. If he didn't get medics, then his heart condition would be worse. This was not a good option for a potential Magus.

Speaking of Magus, Dos hadn't been revived by Luna's enchantment. The challenger won the match at the cost of his life.
