Kai stood in front of his new shop, astonished by the level of creativity before him. The old sign that originally bore the store's name was dull and unappealing, its faded colors failing to reflect the ambition that filled his heart. He felt frustrated by this simple element that others might overlook, but it meant a great deal to him. The system screen appeared before him, floating in the air as usual, so he requested it to change the sign to something more captivating.
In an instant, the old sign vanished as if it had never existed, replaced by a new one radiating vibrant colors, as though inspired by a sunset over a calm sea. The name "Art Store" was written in bold, glowing, intertwined letters, as if the strokes were the final touches of an artist on a masterpiece. The letters danced under the moonlight, seeming to pulse with life, while the sign itself was illuminated in a way that gently reflected light on Kai's face, filling him with a sense of pride.
Kai smiled and stepped toward the shop's door. With each step, he felt as if the ground beneath his feet held a deep secret. He crossed the threshold and entered, only to find the interior design of the shop less impressive than he had imagined. The rooms were disorganized, and the shelves were randomly arranged. This was not what he had envisioned at all. Inwardly, Kai thought he wanted something more cohesive, more beautiful. He was not satisfied.
In a calm voice, Kai asked the system, "Can I make some changes here?"
The system quickly responded as usual, "Of course, you just have to imagine what you want, and I'll handle the rest."
Kai was thrilled by this idea, so instead of expressing it in words, he closed his eyes and let his imagination paint what he desired. In his mind, he began to envision spacious rooms, each with a unique theme. He saw perfectly organized shelves, filled with brightly colored manga that he had drawn. He imagined coffee machines pouring hot coffee, filling the air with a comforting aroma, and beverage machines offering cold, vibrant juices.
The highlight of his imagination was the cover of the "One Piece" manga during the East Blue Saga. The cover took center stage as one entered the shop, depicting Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji standing together on the Merry Go, their eyes filled with challenge and adventure. The cover's details were so vivid it felt as if the characters had leapt off the pages and stood before him.
Kai continued to imagine and rearrange the shop in his mind. Although the shop seemed small from the outside, the interior was incredibly vast. The more he moved in his imagination, the larger the space grew. But Kai, wisely, imagined it to be large enough to serve its purpose without being excessive. He wanted his visitors to feel comfortable, not lost.
When Kai finished his imaginings, he slowly opened his eyes. Before him, everything was exactly as he had wished. The different rooms were arranged in a strange but inviting order, each room beckoning to a world of imagination and art, a place dedicated to enjoying art without disturbance. The shelves he had envisioned were meticulously arranged around the entire shop, displaying manga and artworks in a way that pleased both the eye and the heart.
The coffee machines and beverage dispensers were spread throughout the shop, adding a touch of comfort and warmth to the place. Every corner and nook was just as he had imagined. This was his vision brought to life, a piece of his soul represented by these walls.
Kai felt overwhelming happiness and smiled to himself lightly. The shop meant more to him than just a place for selling—it was a symbol of his dream, of his ability to create something beautiful in a world filled with chaos. And he knew, at that moment, that despite any challenges he might face, he had taken a significant step toward achieving what he once thought was impossible.
After ensuring that everything was going according to plan, Kai asked the system to copy the chapter he had previously prepared and fill all the shelves in the shop with it. The thought had barely formed in his mind before the shelves began to fill with countless new copies. In an instant, every shelf in the shop was fully stocked, neatly arranged, waiting for someone to reach out and grab a copy to dive into this strange world.
The shelves, which had been empty just moments before, were now filled with volumes adorned with intricate illustrations and legendary characters telling unforgettable stories. Kai stood there for a moment, gazing at this achievement, his heart overflowing with joy. He now had a place to house his art, a place where echoes of his creativity resonated without the need for the primitive methods he had resorted to in the past.
This shop would give his art real value; people would come and choose for themselves what they wanted from those volumes stacked on the shelves, without the chaos caused by his previous methods. His happiness grew as he thought that the chaos that had engulfed the city might lessen over time, and as people grew accustomed to his work, perhaps their obsession with seeking him out would decrease.
After completing his plans, Kai prepared to leave the shop before the city's inhabitants woke up and discovered what had happened. He wasn't fond of fame and wasn't ready to deal with it yet. He quickly left, walking through the dark alleys until he reached a distance far enough to observe the shop from afar. He climbed one of the tall buildings, reached its roof, and sat there watching the scene.
From the top of the building, the new shop sign dominated the view in the large square, with bright lights catching everyone's eye. Only the blind would miss it; it attracted attention like a magnet, shining under the fading moonlight. Kai was even more impressed by that sign, which now seemed like an unmistakable beacon.
But soon, fatigue began to overwhelm him. His eyes grew heavy from the long, eventful day. He lay back on the roof, relaxing his body, letting sleep slowly overtake him. Amid the darkness and silence, Kai fell into a deep sleep, leaving the city to sink into the stillness of the night.
When Kai awoke, the sun had begun to rise, casting its first rays over the city. Life started to stir again in the streets of Loguetown, and Kai, from his elevated position, began to watch as the townspeople were startled by the strange thing that had suddenly appeared in the square.
The townspeople were gathering around the shop, touching the walls with their hands, inspecting every corner, but none dared to enter. Fear gripped them; the shop appeared to be something from another world, something that might hold unknown dangers. They looked at it hesitantly, as if stepping inside might cost them their lives.
Gradually, the number of people in the square increased, waiting in silence, their eyes filled with curiosity, but their feet not moving. The atmosphere was tense until a voice from afar broke the silence like a sword.
From within the crowd, a thin young man appeared, with disheveled brown hair and tattered clothes. He walked with confident steps, his face reflecting something of a challenge. Everyone held their breath as he approached the shop's door. No one uttered a word; all eyes were fixed on him, watching his every move.
The young man stood before the door, his hand extended toward the handle. For a moment, it seemed as though time had stopped. But before he could think twice, he pushed the door open and stepped inside, disappearing into the dark abyss that engulfed the shop's interior.
The people outside remained in place, waiting. The silence was heavy, as if even the air itself dared not move. Everyone was eagerly awaiting what would happen next.
