The moon was bright.
Its dim rays landed on the forest, making a beautiful scene.
A cold breeze went across the forest as the trees and bushes waved.
Among the trees and bushes, a big black cat crouched as it chewed down the remaining part of the prey it had just killed.
Its prey wasn't big, so it instantly finished eating.
After finishing, it raised its head as it sniffed to see if it could smell another prey, but the stench from the garbage mountain was too much to smell anything else.
The panther had completely gone blind, so it could only rely on its sense of smell and hearing.
While the panther tried to sense its other prey, a figure stood up at the top of the mountain of garbage as he looked at the panther.
The moonlight landed on his body as he appeared to hold a thick tree branch.
The tree branch looked heavy, but Aiden was holding it without any problem. He had a cold determination reflecting in his eyes.
His white but pale body shook, but he didn't falter.
At the other end of the branch, a lot of knives—some rusted, some broken were attached.
'I've lost everything.' Aiden thought as he took a step forward.
'There's no point in me living any longer.' He thought as he took another step.
'But I don't want to die.' A thought emerged in his mind as he suddenly stopped, but he got confused and tilted his head.
'…Don't try to overwrite my thoughts, you dumbass.' He thought as he shook his head.
'Tsk.' a tongue clicking sound resounded in his mind as Aiden smiled.
'I'm sorry for dragging you here with me.' Aiden smiled as he apologized.
'But hey… its revenge time.' Aiden thought coldly as he looked at the panther and stretched his hands.
'For we all, there's no point in living.'
He thought as he looked at the panther and ran towards it.
The sound of a panther roaring and knives clacking resounded loudly as their fight began.
…
What do you think happened?
Did the boy kill the big cat, or was the boy killed instead?
Let me enlighten you.
Both of them died.
Both of them were fighting with their lives on the line.
Blood was flowing from both of them, and wounds were all over their bodies.
But do you think they killed each other?
No, it's not like what you think. They didn't kill each other.
The thing that killed both of them was a mere gunshot.
Boom
With just one shot, both of them died.
I don't feel satisfied by that.
…Not at all.
…
It was a weird place.
There was neither a surface to stand on nor anything to hold.
Everything was empty.
The whole place was dark, with tiny white, shiny dots everywhere just floating around without any purpose.
A few shiny dots had different colors. Some were blue, some were green, and some were red. Just like the white, shiny dots, they were also just floating around without any purpose.
Once in a while, a hand would appear as it would pick up the colored, tiny dots.
The owner of the hand was a woman. The woman's figure was made of white lines, as her whole body was dark and had tiny white dots just like her surrounding.
Sometimes, she would pick up a green dot, which she would eat, saying with a warm voice, 'You have lived to your fullest.'
While sometimes she would pick up a red dot, which she would throw downward without any hint of hesitation, saying, 'Your sins can only be pardoned once you survive the red world.'
After several times went by, the hand picked up a blue dot.
'Let's see what happened to it.'
The owner of the hand thought as she closed her eyes.
The scenes of a lot of human faces appeared as each of them were looking at it with disgust, fear, and hate.
The scene changed as the same faces were now holding weapons and driving it away from their homes.
The scene changed again. Now, it was showing that a panther suddenly appeared out of the dark. It was the same panther from before.
The scene changed again, and when the owner of the hand watched it, she grieved in sympathy as she looked at the blue dot on her hand.
'You have suffered a lot.' She said this as she raised her other hand, planning to press the tiny blue dot.
'Wait a second, Hekate.'
But before she could press the blue dot, a voice suddenly interrupted her as she stopped and looked toward the source of the voice in surprise.
'It's been so long that I had already forgotten about your existence.' She said as she looked at a white, shiny dot, but this dot was abnormal compared to others.
While other dots were small, it was big. It was the size of the sun.
'Haha, things happen.' The sun sized particle replied in amusement as he felt nostalgia for how the entity in front of him was still the same.
'So, why are you here all of a sudden? ' Hekate, the owner of the hand, asked in a monotone voice.
'Its regarding that boy.' The sun sized particle said this as the owner of the hand looked at the blue dot on her hand.
'…Are you also thinking about joining in?' Hekate asked as a hint of surprise emerged within her.
'Hahahaha, yes, yes, I am.' The sun sized particle said as the monotone expression of Hekate slightly changed.
'Oh, things are getting interesting.' Hekate said, as she had a small smile on her face.
