Kian and Ajax greeted Thadius with big smiles. They knew Thadius was strong but seeing him in action was a different thing
Kian was a simple man even though he lost he didn't loose heart. He was very happy for his friend
Ajax on the others hand was lost in his thoughts, even though he was happy for his friend's victory he just couldn't understand why Thadius didn't compete for The Young Saint position.
Thadius sat down feeling refreshed after the battle. Even though the fight was challenging it wasn't nearly enough
He wanted a stronger opponent
Hemcur was shaking in his boots
He finally understood how stupid he was for thinking he could take Thadius down.
"What should I do to make him forgive me.
Should I just apologize?
I haven't done anything extreme yet."
Hercule was lost in thoughts. He knew if Thadius decided to compete with him it would be tough to become the Young Saint but he wasn't afraid
Instead he welcomed the challenge.
While everyone was busy with their thoughts the competition continued.
Fights had become more thrilling. The weak ones had been eliminated the remaining ones were the best among the fourth stage cultivators
All of them would become elite disciples but this wasn't what they were aiming for.
The were all among the best talents
They wanted to become core disciples and none of them was willing to except anything less.
Out of the thousands only eight remained.
It was now that the Vice Head's disciples who were in the fourth meridian stage would also participate.
Ten teenagers with different auras arrived at the platform from the stands.
Some were refined, some releasing pressure. All of them were wearing personal disciple robes. Even though they had different styles one thing couldn't be denied and that was they were all strong.
They were the ones with talent so high that they became core disciples after entering the academy in the last year.
The eighth finalists also stood among them.
They were Thadius Ma, Walco Leone, Von Searing, Dango Tribirius, Kaprius Fang, Konan Fang, Voris Droko and Ronea Omga.
They were all fifteen and full of vigour.
Looking at the ten core disciples they weren't afraid
They would fight and also take their place among the core disciples after today.
The spectators were exhilarated, all of them looking forward to seeing the youths on the platform fight.
The vice head's were talking amongst themselves about their disciples, who would take the top position today and if they would take new disciples.
Among the youths on stage few stood out more than others but the one who had the most attention on him was a handsome youth with a trident birthmark on his forehead.
He stood full of confidence not putting anyone else in his eyes
He was Fiano Leone
The one who caused a heavenly phenomenon just by being born. The Young Saint of the Leone clan.
A chosen who was destined to stand at the top.
"I hope someone would be able to challenge me. It gets pretty boring having no one in my age group who could fight me one even ground."
With such thoughts he looked at the youths who would be his opponents today.
Chering Fang ,Oman Tribirius, Jakon Ma were among the personal disciples looking at the members of their clan. They had a year old age gap but were all in the fourth stage.
Thadius looked at Jakon whom he had met a few times when they were kids but they weren't particularly close.
He looked at everyone and knew that the strongest is most definately the one from Leone clan with the birth mark.
The ones standing here were all talents but that guy was in a leage of his own.
Thadius didn't know him but the instincts he has honed after countless battles were warning him about the Young Saint Fiano.
Thadius's blood boiled wishing he could have a go at him right at this moment but he knew now was not the time. He calmed down waiting for the opponents to be chosen and as luck would have it his was the ninth battle and his opponent was Fiano Leone.
Looking at the draws the Leone Clan members were all chatting amongst themselves having absolute confidence in their Young Saint.
Even Fiano's master Vice Head Hian Fedro was also relaxed
He had no doubt that Fiano would be the winner, on the other hand the Ma Clansmen were silent.
They knew Thadius was strong but strong enough to beat the Young Saint of Leone Clan they didn't think he could do it.
Even Ajax and Kian were sure if Thadius could win.
Fiano looked at his opponent the calm and collected handsome boy who was staring right at him.
This guy is maintaining his cool even though he has to face me. This could be interesting
The Vice Head's also thought that Thadius was quite good to be able to keep his calm in front of a dangerous opponent. Only the headmaster was able to notice something off about Thadius.
Contrary to what everyone was thinking Thadius wasn't calm. There wasn't much change in his expression not because he was at peace but because he was trying his level best to control himself.
He knew that today he would be able to let loose. He could finally fight to his heart's content.
A Tsunami was raging in him and he was having trouble holding back but he would get the chance soon.
